  1. Ideally we'll have it won before the split
  2. I'll settle for beating Timmy at the Piggerie after we've already wrapped up the title
  3. Not quite lol Celtic can only get another 24 points so we could win the title with as little as 15 points from our last 10 games 5 more wins then
  4. Taking Fleck off cerca 65 minutes and playing Little until injury time is one of the strangest things i've ever witnessed
  5. We played with 9 men on Sunday and have a massive test away to Hearts at the weekend. If i'd had my way we would've rested the whole defence aswell
  6. I can be accused of whatever for saying this but i'm honestly not particularly bothered. We won the league tonight. The cup is a poor second to that. One thing i will say though is that if Andrew Little is a footballer, there's hope for us all
  7. Little and Beasley have been so anonymous, it's like we're playing with 9 men again Fleck may be greedy but he's a cut above virtually every player on that park tonight
  8. It seems that unless Miller plays magnificently every single game, the 'headless chicken' tag is thrown back at him
  9. I doubt very much that Barry Ferguson would lie to a group of Rangers fans and tell them that Boyd had agreed to join Birmingham if he hadn't I guess it comes down to how much you believe online stories. Considering they all got their photo taken at the train station with Barry, i won't be buying next season's shirt with Boyd on the back anyway...
  10. Was Rod Wallace honestly any better a player than Miller? Who was our first choice forward in our most affluent days. Rendering the 'he's systematic of where we are as a club' argument wrong imo. The squad of 2003 to 2006 was systematic of how far we'd fallen (Ian Murray, Maurice Ross, Olivier Bernard, Paolo Vanoli, Bojan Djordjic, Steven Thompson, Francis Jeffers), the present one is an obvious step up
  11. Didn't someone see Barry Ferguson on a train (and posted a picture of it) and he told them that Boyd had already agreed to join Birmingham? He's offski
  12. Would be incredibly harsh on someone with 17 goals by mid-March to not even have them amongst the 6 nominees. Especially as Boyd is nominated every year when his performances never back it up
  13. Looking at it objectively, he has done all he can do at Celtic and needs to move very soon or risk ending up like Maloney. The last 18 months he has been utter shite. If i was a Tim, which you may well be insinuating , i wouldn't be wishing my team's best player (Keane plays for Tottenham ) a transfer!
  14. Bougherra being nominated ahead of Weir, McGregor, or even Whittaker is utterly ridiculous
  15. Miller was crucified (on internet forums at least) after Kaunas when the reality of the situation was that Darcheville missed an open goal in the first leg and Velicka missed one of the biggest sitters in history in Lithuania
  16. Beasley should start after his performance on our previous visit to Tannadice. Toss up between Novo and Naismith for the other wing; Novo is much more likely to play well than Naismith given their respective performances this season but i think Naismith needs a game
  17. I wasn't annoyed by his signing as i felt he would provide a younger version of Darcheville, who had led the line valiantly the previous season but could never play for more than 60-65 minutes. He hasn't let me down.
  18. Never forget the date as it was my 9th birthday. Also seem to remember us scoring within 10 seconds after his silence at Tannadice!
  19. I'd imagine the midfield will be either: Naismith Davis Edu Beasley OR Novo Naismith Edu Beasley
  20. One assist doesn't make it conclusive proof that he actually is good enough for Rangers/has been a good signing afterall, though we'd obviously benefit from a confident Naismith, something i don't believe we've seen since his Kilmarnock days. If Boyd leaves, which i personally think is a certainty, he may have a massive role to play next season
  21. I feel the total opposite to what Walter said in his post-match interview. I think Wilson's was a booking at most whereas Thomson's was a definate red. I'd have been seething if an opposition player had only been booked for a challenge like Thomson's. The Wilson one was staggering though. Craig Thomson was clearly trying to make a name for himself.
  22. I've said it before and i'll say it again; Lawell would've got £3 million for Adam, easily
  23. 2-0 with Keane scoring both, again emphasising just how rancid a team they'll be without him next year
  24. McGeady is stagnating at Celtic and in the SPL and should've left 2 years ago. If he doesn't leave this summer, i can see his career going the way of Shaun Maloney or Paul McStay
  25. Nor did i think we would go and beat Lyon 3-0 on their own patch But in modern day football these can only happen as one offs. A team from Scotland won't consistently beat better teams in Europe
