  1. What a sign of the times when Andy Webster coming back is seen as softening the blow of Bougie leaving!
  2. There's no chance of him being here next season, we won't let him enter the last 2 years of his contract when we could get upwards of £5 million for him Barcelona is ridiculous though, no chance
  3. A few years of no Champions League football and we are basically screwed for a decade or more Plus i don't believe we have enough youngsters capable of making the step up. I don't rate Andy Little at all yet he seems to be the highest rated outwith the quartet of Ness, Wylde, Wilson and Fleck
  4. Draw for me, not very confident
  5. Players change position all the time though, it's not like you're born with a position. Would anyone still refer to big Jig as a striker? Yet he played most of his career there
  6. Damn you quoted me before i could properly edit my post! It is indeed 4, i forgot about this season's snooze fest when Shagger saved their last minute penalty
  7. I believe we've only played Motherwell at Fir Park 4 times under Walter and we've drawn all 4 of them 1-1 draw when Boyd scored a penalty to equalise 1-1 draw when Dailly put us ahead and we basically threw the title away that day 0-0 draw last season 0-0 draw this season
  8. Our record against Motherwell away from home is wretched. Am i right in saying we haven't won there since PLG's last game in charge?
  9. Played centre half against Celtic and gave away a needless penalty, though he had an overall decent game
  10. Papac is so much better at left back than centre back it's untrue; i too find it strange that some people still refer to him as a CB playing at LB Smith is painfully average but will leave in the summer with my best wishes
  11. He's not even Irish. He has an accent like Danny Dyer!
  12. Whittaker should've taken it for me. Scored penalties in all our previous shoot out wins IIRC
  13. I've been worrying about administration a lot lately, particularly given the prospect of us going 13 points clear by beating Celtic at the end of the month. Is there a chance we could sacrifice 10 points knowing we'd still be top and go into admin? Would it ever really come to that? We could pretty much wipe out our debt by selling McGregor, Wilson, Bougherra, Davis, Fleck, and Miller. We'd be left with basically no team, but we'd be avoiding a -10 start and never before seen embarrassment in terms of prestige.
  14. Definately. If anything, it will make for a better atmosphere during the game too
  15. I actually kinda understand Alex McLeish's comment after we lost a semi final on penalties to Hibs (that our strikers don't like hitting dead balls) If the ball is static and you are tired, it must be quite difficult to get sufficient power in it. Naisy doesn't have that excuse tonight though haha
  16. I knew Naismith was going to miss it. Didn't look confident at all.
  17. I don't understand this train of thought, and you're far from the only person i've heard say it Smith first mentioned the banks running the club after a 1-1 draw with Hibs. Since then we've won 11, drawn 2, and lost 1 of our 14 league games We also survived the transfer window without the supposed firesale that many claimed would occur
  18. i'm struggling at 100 mph Can someone confirm to me what the song is btw? I'm 99% sure but don't want to make a fool of myself incase i'm wrong
  19. Definate racism. They would've burned a cross instead but McGeady put them all into Row Q Boom Boom
  20. His skin colour? They like to take the moral high ground over racism yet they racially abused their own manager and 2 of their own players against Inverness in 2000
  21. I also think that Weir is a certainty to still be here next season, so long as he wants to keep playing. The prospect of Wilson and Webster being our only CB's will make it happen.
  22. Strange timing for this to come out. You'd think ra Cellic lost last night or something..... Stevie Smith, Beasley and probably Boyd will leave on frees, and Bougherra will be sold for around £4.5 million. Can't see much more than that if we plan on keeping any kind of capable squad
  23. Yassssssssssssssssss ya dancer
  24. If Gordon was worth £9 million, McGregor is easily worth the same. Don't let the fact we are skint dumb down his real value.
  25. vis a vis the 'no side has scored more than once at Ibrox this season' stat: we actually haven't conceded more than one goal in any league game for 10 months The last time that happened was a 3-2 win at Hibs last April
