    Let's be honest; it means pretty much nothing considering how abysmal our defence was in Europe. However, the SPL is our bread and butter and we sure as hell know how to defend at that level

    Can't appeal bookings As i said in the other thread, i'm not convinced it's a massive loss. Boyd was anonymous for the majority of today's game and with Lafferty looking very good after he came on, and Novo a serial Timslayer, i'm not particularly worried

    Obviously you didn't use the word hero, i was being facetious, but i don't buy into the belief that because we didn't sell Bougherra, Boyd, or Davis in January, Muir is "the saviour within". We signed nobody, no-one has signed new contracts despite the fact we have 15 players in the last 6 to 18 months of their contracts, and it was a month where no English teams pushed the boat out. Let's just see how determined we are to reject bids come July

    I actually think the total opposite Would be very worried about Smith at left back, even though he did reasonably ok in the first OF game this season, whereas i think we could cope without Boyd given his record against Celtic (so long as we played Fleck or Novo and not Lafferty)

    Looked a hell of a prospect in 2006 but just hasn't happened for him since his return and he has made no impression in any match he's played in since then. I can see Smudger ending up with his pals at Cardiff
