Seems like our lovely board have done their usual and threatened Craig with 'legal action': Yet again I have been threatened with legal action for postings from this site, the threats are almost identical to those I received when releasing the David Somers email last month in that they in no way question the authenticity of the matter but only the source. I will repeat that I pass on information which I feel is of public interest and in particular interest to Rangers shareholders and fans regardless of the personal consequence. Where I get information from has never and will never be at risk. It seems yet again our page and the facts we present is a concern to those abusing our club. Enjoy your read. Craig.

Agreed mate. We require tens of millions. Team, coaches, stadium - all need an overhaul. A few million here and there isn't going to touch the sides. -

You can just see that this f.ucking Board will turn down Sarver bid and blame Park/King, They will then angrily reject The Three Bears investment offer and will then be "forced" to go to Ashley for more loans in exchange for more retail control. Had enough of this shite from these coonts !!! -

Rangers International Football Club plc ("Rangers", "RIFC" or the "Company") Revised Proposal The board of Rangers notes the announcement this morning by Robert Sarver of a revised proposal "Revised Proposal" which contains the following summary: "The revised proposal involves investing up to GBP20 million for a majority shareholding by way of a placing of new ordinary shares in Rangers at 20 pence per share ("Placing") followed, if the Placing is completed, by a mandatory offer for the remaining issued and to be issued ordinary share capital under Rule 9 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers ("Code") at 20 pence per share. As part of the revised proposal GBP6.5 million would be made available to Rangers in immediate short-term funding by way of a secured loan to be repaid in 90 days or out of the proceeds of the Placing." The Directors thank Mr Sarver for his continuing interest in Rangers. They are studying the Revised Proposal which was received last night, and are consulting with major shareholders, to understand whether the proposal is capable of being implemented. A further announcement will be made shortly. -

I still say that Sarver could be majority shareholder and could have King as Chairman and several of the good bears on the board, alongside a couple of Sarver appointments. I believe that may suit all parties. To get the club back up off it's knees we may have to have several parties pulling resources - because we're going to need very significant investment. -

Whatever happens we need a hell of alot of money to get ourselves out of the mire we have been in. A whole new playing squad. Virtually none of the out of contract players should be allowed back after the summer. A whole new management/coaching team. Alot of money needs spent on a very neglected stadium. It looks like shit in places. Significant investment is needed - not just a few millions here and there. -

Thanks Zappa - was getting confused by some of the various lists of % holdings that are flying about and some are suggesting Artemis still holding around 4% - but this appears to clarify it.

Unless I am interpreting this totally wrong, Artemis held around 9% before selling around half of their shares to King, leaving them with about 4% now ?? Yes ??

I'm taking it that they are holding it as part of their own portfolio. It will be within their invstments funds, such as OEIC's or Investments Trusts - i.e. mutal funds/pooled funds, in the same way as R&M Assest management and Artemis would have.
