Kirk: I want to stay at Gers
OnlyOneAmoruso replied to Rangers Football Club's topic in Rangers Chat
I would still play him in defence. If Whittaker had played in December in the games Beasley & Novo did, then we would have seen the best of him. If we play that high pressing game then he doesn't have to defend as much and his frailties aren't exposed as frequently -
McGhee mulling over Barr options
OnlyOneAmoruso replied to Jim White's topic in General Football Chat
I meant as well as Webster. Theres a distinct possibility that Wilson and Webster will be our only two 'senior' centre backs by the summer! Of course I'd be happier for Ness and Wylde/Campbell to get more game time -
McGhee mulling over Barr options
OnlyOneAmoruso replied to Jim White's topic in General Football Chat
I really wouldn't mind seeing him at Ibrox. If we have to scrimp and scrape this summer then 3 players I would go for would be Barr, McArthur and Arfield. -
Surely criticism of your criticism must be given respect also?

Kirk: I want to stay at Gers
OnlyOneAmoruso replied to Rangers Football Club's topic in Rangers Chat
I'm led to believe Broadfoot is on 3k per week currently and has been offered 6k. So the club has offered a contract and he wants to stay yet the contract remains unsigned. More pressure on the bank -
Hi Craig, How much different was STS from We Deserve Better? I only briely glanced at STS but it seemed to have a lot of the same basic premise.

Did you honestly write that first sentence?

rbr is quite correct. Smith and even Bain have played things extremely well in the last 3 months or so. The latest being only naming 6 substitutes on Saturday when surely a further youth player could have been called in. They offered new contracts without the banks approval. Boyd wants to sign it but it hasn't been signed yet. What could possibly be blocking that deal? With Wilson and Fleck having 18 months left, there’s more than plenty of time to negotiate. In fact, both lads have stated they wish to stay. Yet stories leaked that they were off to chase the money down south. Nicely planted article perhaps? I thinks so.

I would say so Ian. He's a silly boy for even putting himself in these situations but no-one deserves to be falsely accused of something like this.

Well, there seems to be a vast amount of dissenters who are rather intelligent and make excellent points. Perhaps they could form something of their own and mould it into a viable alternative?

Hey Zappa, re David and his apparent 'schmoozing'? He is Trust spokesman.... To be brutally honest, it's become a bit of a joke amongst fans who don't really seem to be offering any alternatives.

Fair enough mate and I'll apologise if that post has offended or risen anyones hackles. Would you perhaps agree that my comments would be irrelevant to some of the people you mention as further alienation is an impossibility?

David Edgar professes to represent exactly what he does represent, the Trust. Anyone who says otherwise is mischief making and twisting words imo. Just because everytime he speaks he doesn't say 'I speak on behalf of the RST' doesn't mean he thinks he speaks for the whole fanbase.

It was lighthearted as ever Bluedell (hence the smiley) In my experience David Edgar has my full backing but I realise I may be in a very small minority outwith of FollowFollow.

Good point re no legal obligation to accept less than face value. However, if they are doing it for other companies then surely it must be an option for ourselves?

I shan't go over the same tired old argument with you, no matter how much you would like me to.

To be honest, David hasn't asked to be given that title in the newspaper. Sounds a bit pedantic to me.
