  1. Ah I get the underwriting was a myth.....
  2. Now that we removed Murray sports from the equation, there cannot be many other candidates for taking the hit.
  3. Returning Rangers chairman David Murray has confirmed a £57m rights issue of shares designed to wipe out most of the club's crippling debt burden. John McClelland, as expected, drops down to vice-chairman. The new chairman's company, Murray International Holdings Ltd, which last week acquired £8.7m shares from ENIC, will underwrite the rights issue. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ There isn't one I have missed is there.....
  4. So, who takes the hit for the £52 million+ underwritten by SDM/Murray sports, as we are aware Murray sports is no more. ?
  5. OK I will begin then, is this the take over offer, that was notified and advised to the relevant bodies. Sorry, should have added....or was it just someone flying a kite, or a myth ?
  6. No, I was looking for something far more legal than the Sun.
  7. Our financial problems are well documented, even if the documentation often contradicts, however we are far from being the worst or anywhere near it. Recent revelations have revealed the extraordinary amount of debt accrued to the EPL, now almost £4 billion, a veritable house of cards. Man. U. Chelsea and Liverpool tell the real story, Man. U. in particular perhaps our very own in house carpetbagger is a mere apprentice. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1243042/Manchester-United-finance-shock-Have-Glazers-Red-Devils-road-meltdown.html
  8. Forgive me for being simple, but I was under the impression that the "owner" was the person who made the decision to sell or not. That leads to a very interesting scenario, I am sure our resident accountants will know what it is.
  9. Just think what a God he would've been.....if he had won anything, it's OK we wont mention stats....
  10. We even had world class bands then as well... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKpE1AiGGD0]YouTube- Average White Band - Let's Go Round Again (1980)[/ame]
  11. Ah Gregor, takes me back to the days of Richard "Ibrox" Park and his crazy commentaries and even crazier late night show, we have had some "waarmers" at the club, but back then it seemed so much more exciting and fun. If we were not playing for some reason, we were at a game team handed with a cargo...heady days indeed.
  12. You are not seriously expecting an answer.......are you. :box:
  13. You can take that to the bank.
  14. You pays your money you takes your choice, I don't think he has any ability above distinctly average, much as I want him to prove me and others wrong for the benefit of the club, what I see with my own eyes does not suggest that is going to happen. Maybe if WS could make up his mind what position he signed KL for, that may be the catalyst, we can only hope.
  15. This is what the times said yesterday. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/editor-s-picks-ignore/kris-boyd-set-to-sign-new-rangers-contract-1.998054
  16. This is the paper who along with the Herald insisted Duffy was riding to the rescue... ??
  17. "I won't pay a guy money that I don't think he deserves." I take it he classed himself in that comment. I will leave lafferty at that, as I don't believe we will see him at Ibrox very much longer, a big mistake by WS.
  18. You quite deliberately missed the disrespect shown to the fans in such an austere financial climate, you seem to equate angling with anything that you do not agree with, me I prefer facts. The only person that should, to use your phrase shut his hole, is the rather tiresome and loudmouthed lafferty, the complete definition that money cannot buy class.
  19. Is every one of the four called The Mint.
  20. You would have to take that up with WS, he did after all very publicly send KB home from training due to his attitude over being dropped. As has been said previously whatever anyone thinks of Champagne, lafferty would not lace his boots in any footballing sense, simples.
  21. Fans also have the right not to watch if they feel they are being shortchanged, as was very forcibly exercised in the John Greig era as manager. Something very public needs to be said about lafferty's conduct, and by the club. Everyone else and their grandmother have had a say on his disgraceful attitude, in house reprimands or the club appearing to have little interest in lafferty's comments are good for neither the club the supporters or lafferty.
  22. Fleck and Wilson allegedly reject offers of new contracts. http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/394842070?-11344
  23. When I think of WS and his out of position foible, I always think of Basile Boli.
  24. No.....A shy. PS ...sorry techy probs.
  25. Well Frankie the way I see it WS will revert to type, he will see our points lead as an insurance he will protect at all costs, I think we are in for some very ugly park fitba'.
