  1. Personally I don't give a toss who it is from, as long as it is the official club website and attributable.
  2. So whose puppet is AJ...Murray's, Walter's, Muir's or the bank's, in fact what is he there for...a fall guy. Just as a matter of record the "bank" are running fek all club, unless of course anyone can prove otherwise, beyond a shadow of a doubt. But as that would be illegal without the proper procedure, no one will be proving it, will they.
  3. Frankie, in case you hadn't noticed we are looking daft right now, we get the pish ripped out of us from all sides, club, press, general media with pish stories not anywhere near reality. I liked your idea of consensus and a common goal, why don't you start the ball rolling by asking admin from all Rangers sites to join together in asking very publicly, for a very public statement from the club on our present position and time scales. A lot of people me included Frankie, have faith in your measured approach, I know as do many others you wouldn't and won't let us down.
  4. Surely "proof" of funding goes a long way to confirming the authenticity of any bid..........unless of course you are buying something you already own......in a firesale at a knockdown price minus certain responsibilities to cross gaurantees, which appear to have been unholy smoke and a complete misunderstanding of a company that we are now informed is "stand alone" has no ties to any of Minty's other creative holdings....aye right..
  5. Maybe you should read the assembly statement particularily the first sentence, maybe AJ was out for a piss when it was announced, maybe not.
  6. But there is a very simple way for all of us to know the truth or the state of play at the moment, our incumbent chairman makes a statement , not the assembly, the chairman, confirming funding which is a non breach of disclosure, and anything else that can put fans minds at rest, anything less is a continuation of an embarassing pantomime.
  7. Let's be blunt about it Frankie, the assembly are a creature of Murray, very simply either it was confirmed that Ellis was the real deal i.e. proof of funding was and has been confirmed to the select few at Sunday's meeting, or it wasn't. Despite many many people digging with big shovels, they cannot find any proof of this funding, doesn't mean it doesn't exist, but Gordon Gekko would be proud of the Chinese walls and blind alleys, there again I doubt Hollywood could make it up.

  9. But only if that deviance from the actuality, was not to the "benefit" of the paymaster. http://www.clyde1.com/Article.asp?id=968104&spid=24537
  10. "The club may not confirm the Assembly report per se" Kerr said it was a factual account that he gave to the radio, which one is correct the printed one or the radio one.
  11. Perhaps you can clear this up Frankie, posted by your own hand, or do I need to ask. "The club may not confirm the Assembly report per se but the fact it has appeared on their website (paid for by the budget afforded to them by the club) suggests they're happy with the concise minutes published. It is then up to us to interpret the cleverly worded statements which still leave ample room for flexibility from all." :robbo:
  12. After Frankie's call to arms, RM go and shit in the nest, appears some of the contributors(?) over there couldn't handle a poster posting up about King's court set-back yesterday. The thread was promptly deleted, but only after the unfortunate poster was subjected to unmitigated abuse, I PMSL, when an embarassing climb down was in order after the rabbit caught up and penned an article confirming deleted thread. It does appear the banjo players are still in denial though, the great Rangers family indeed...... http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=151162 http://www.rangersmedia.co.uk/homepage/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=431:rumoured-bidder-for-rangers-dave-king-faces-legal-setback&catid=41:finances
  13. It's really incredible how Boydy ever became all time SPL goal machine, I mean all he does is score goals, apparently pointless ones......
  14. Worth a read, if only because of its lack of sensationalism. http://soccerlens.com/just-who-will-buy-rangers/44387/
  15. Time for idle talk is long past Frankie, time for money to talk and bullshit to walk, or for Murray to declare he is staying. We the fans can get back to football matters, the high heid yins entrusted with the running of the club can get on with doing just that.
  16. The first casualty of Pravda is the truth, warts and all, liberalism has a lot to answer for. http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showpost.php?p=202872&postcount=14
  17. Boydy is the dogs bollox, goal scorer extraordinaire, and that is what it is all about, ba', net, back of, job done.
  18. What's a rumour ? ...:spl:
  19. I was toying with the idea of rattling beads, but I know that some here are of an indeterminate disposition, do we know if Ellis is of the bead rattling worriers,,,,...:fish:
  20. 7 years jail and unlimited fine. Market abuse is improper conduct that undermines the UK financial markets or damages the interests of ordinary market participants. The Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA) section 118 creates civil penalties for market abuse which run parallel to the criminal offences. The criminal offences are making a misleading statement and engaging in a misleading course of conduct for the purpose of inducing another person to exercise or refrain from exercising rights in relation to investments. In addition, Part V of the Criminal Justice Act 1993 sets out the criminal offence of insider dealing. We are a prosecuting authority for the criminal offence of insider dealing (as defined in the Criminal Justice Act 1993). Insider dealing is where individuals use, or encourage others to use, information about a company which is not generally available, to deal for their own financial advantage. In other words, they have received information through inside contacts and use it to make a profit or avoid a loss. The civil offence, as defined in section 118 of FSMA, can be any of seven types of behaviour: 1.Insider dealing ââ?¬â?? when an insider deals, or tries to deal, on the basis of inside information. 2.Improper disclosure ââ?¬â?? where an insider improperly discloses inside information to another person. 3.Misuse of information ââ?¬â?? behaviour based on information that is not generally available but would affect an investorââ?¬â?¢s decision about the terms on which to deal. 4.Manipulating transactions ââ?¬â?? trading, or placing orders to trade, that gives a false or misleading impression of the supply of, or demand for, one or more investments, raising the price of the investment to an abnormal or artificial level. 5.Manipulating devices ââ?¬â?? trading, or placing orders to trade, which employs fictitious devices or any other form of deception or contrivance. 6.Dissemination ââ?¬â?? giving out information that conveys a false or misleading impression about an investment or the issuer of an investment where the person doing this knows the information to be false or misleading. 7.Distortion and misleading behaviour ââ?¬â?? behaviour that gives a false or misleading impression of either the supply of, or demand for, an investment; or behaviour that otherwise distorts the market in an investment. However all will be sweetness and light , when Ellis skips up the yellow brick road to the Takeover Panel office in Munchkin land, clutching the Mints letter of intent to sell the world famous Rangers to said Ellis for a handful of beads and a lucky bag. Word from the badlands of Partick is "fek it get them in make mine a double"...
  21. Good you agree that I never said he contradicted himself, how could he, he never mentioned Ellis's funding in the radio interview. I am now off to partake of liquid refreshment starting in the Thornwood, on to the Rosie and further afield, be good now...
  22. No I didn't say he contradicted himself, I simply stated a fact, no mention of confirmed funding was made in the interview, now if you wish to confirm that mention of confirmed funding was made in the interview, knock yourself out...:box:
  23. Listen to the interview, he says something entirely different to, "Andrew Ellis has held talks with Donald Muir (the enemy within) (the enemy within) and with Sir David Murray and has provided proof of funds." Which is the first sentence in the printed article, not once is proof of funding mentioned in the interview, although Iwould have thought that would have been a mainstay of any interview, regarding the takeover, maybe I am just to auld and cynical and the fact that they were told the guy had the spondoolies simply slipped the mind...aye right...
  24. It might as well have been , it was Daryll King. :spl:
  25. Andy Kerr SSB radio interview, rather different to what is in print regards Ellis. http://www.clyde1.com/Article.asp?id=968104&spid=24537 Following the meeting, I was interviewed by Sky Sports News, Radio Scotland and Radio Clyde. I gave a factual account of the discussions and stressed the message that fans should buy season tickets and ensure that we maintain our support. I said we were all desperate for Walter to stay and that he would have some funds to strengthen the playing squad. I reiterated that the ongoing uncertainty was a big worry for fans and, the longer that continued, the more restless fans would become.
