  1. Lafferty couldny score in a barrel full of fannies. £320 grand a goal, fek me miss whiplash would be cheaper...
  2. Are ye gonny tell us whit Boydy caught yee at.....:fish:
  3. But he does score and in spades.
  4. Whit mon.....mon ra gerries..?
  5. Franzy boy hit the nail on the head, ra englunders are pure pish....
  6. The trust would be talking to anyone on their own behalf, ""and the role the organised fans can play in that, in terms of taking a major stake and making the phrase 'the Rangers family' (aye right) mean something"". What say or input would the vast majority of non organised fans have, that is correct none. The reason that they nor no other "body" is willing to put the question to the broad church of the fans regarding fan ownership, is as I have said before Turkey's don't vote for Xmas and the ""blazer brigade" are not about to let any broad fan base vote deny them of their positions or perceived station in the disfunctional Rangers family.
  7. The plot thinneth....Meanwhi le the Rangers Supporters Trust last night said it would welcome talk switch King regarding joint ownership of the club. The organisation believe joining forces with King could be a viable option in the future. RST chairman Stephen Smith said: "What we are looking for is partnership. "We will settle for a halfway house, or fans taking 20% or 30% of the club. If Dave King wants to engage with the support on that bas is we a re still willing to do that." http://tiny.cc/ajgbq http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/2010/06/26/dave-king-celtic-had-the-chance-to-bury-rangers-in-2009-by-spending-money-i-m-amazed-they-didn-t-86908-22362005/
  8. I hope that SARS don't see the spunked up the wa' £20 million as money laundering......
  9. Murray has king by the balls, and then some.
  10. Another day another crock by the daily rhebel, where were you davie in our hours of "need" your story telling is as creative as your accountancy....do us a favour put up or shut the fuk up..
  11. But "you" did disclose the bank wanted their pound of flesh, allegedly, which as you know is of course bollox. You will find that AJ covered the financial situation and the comical situation regarding the bid that never was, very well, your conclusion should be to try harder and spout less waffle, if you are an example of what proposes to give our fan base advice and guidance heaven help us. You could try and redeem yourself by reporting fact rather than fiction, you may still attain the blazer, must dash phone is ringing....
  12. What the bank required and agreed was explained in full by AJ. A reduction in the overdraft of £1 million per annum. Long term legally agreed loans are just that, if any bank scuppered any buyout of any company, because they refused any possible new owner a viable operating remit, that would become very public and very messy. So in essence your take is that "the bank" required settlement in full to allow the sale of something they did not own, how novel, the new way of high finance, shoot yourself in the head and the foot.
  13. Just to reiterate your statement regarding the bank was and is utter bollox, unless of course you can prove otherwise. Blondie must have the dry boak.....
  14. "If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader" If yeah, whatever is the riposte of one of our would be leaders, things can only get worse.
  15. You're right it isn't nonsense it's unadulterated bollox. More disinformation from people "with their finger on the pulse".....
  16. This is getting hard work.......perceived is the clue in power, all fans bodies are out of their depth as far as buyout scenarios go, professional financial people would have to be involved, whither you or I think fan buyout is a pipe dream is irrelevant, the wider fan base should be able to have a say on that matter. As it stands there are to many chiefs and not enough indians, it doesn't appear that situation will change anytime soon. ETA. why do people keep repeating the nonsense that the bank " LBG's insistance that they are settled in full" ?
  17. You don't open a business of this size unless you know you have customers/shareholders committed to its survival/success, you don't spend mega bucks on business plans before you have viable finance on a more than maybe basis. A viable business plan/prospectus would have to be done by professionals, that would cancel out and rightly so ANY Rangers supporters body. It would effectively remove any sembelance of power from said bodies in a fan buyout, that power would lie with the fans/shareholders and rightly so. The proposed buyers the fans should finance everything, through a professional source/legal/accountants, the fans elect a board of say 6, with the professional overseer having a casting vote. It isn't rocket science, but I don't think it will ever happen....to many people want to hold onto their little bit of perceived power.
  18. It quite simply gives a benchmark of who if anyone, is willing to put their money into the supporter/club/involvement. It is pointless putting money into a prospectus......unless you know it is going to be money well spent. As to why it hasn't happened before the answer is very simple......Turkey's don't vote for Christmas...
  19. Escrow account valid for 10 weeks, money can be removed from that account by payee on demand, interest on that account to charity. Account total updated and published daily on Rangers boards. 10 weeks is more than enough, with the neccessary publicity in national newspapers and media, to ascertain the financial appetite for fan involvement. If a positive response move on creating hard accounts and viable investment avenues, if nay we carry on as we are....at least we will have tested the waters. We must stop relying on and hoping others will do what we require to do ourselves....i.e. sugar daddies.
  20. Truth, of course, must of necessity be stranger than fiction; for we have made fiction to suit ourselves.
  21. The simple solution is that there is no solution, until and maybe not even then, Minty departs. Anyone who believes that a "Rangers minded" sugar daddy is going to appear and underwrite a loss making venture/business that is Rangers, to facilitate fan ownership/involvement, would be as well wishing for the sugar plum fairy. Simply the fans will either do it or they won't, the will to do it must first be gauged, or consigned to history.
  22. While we here may have twigged that the king has no clothes on, many from what I read in other places think he is draped in all his finery, I would go as far as to say that those of us who have sussed Minty are in a minority.
  23. I honestly now feel drained with my efforts and unless I get some hope that it won't be another 26 years between gers visits then I can't see me doing this much longer because it's a truly a thankless task. Some may have other motives but mine is simple...Rangers First. WATP Therin lies the simple truth......our motives, fans motives that is, matter not a jot, it is the motives of power, ego and high finance that rule the roost.
  24. What is your point caller, it sounds like waffle covered up as waffle to me, where you at George Lewis Young's games, when was Pele captain of Rangers, who gives a fek what he says, but he was a braw fitba' player. :spl:
  25. Of course you will be better placed than a great Rangers and Scotland captain to make that distinction.
