  1. To be honest NL I have been round the block to many times to believe anything that comes out of Ibrox from any source, Smith changes his mind to suit his audience and his paymaster, like it or not he is welded to Minty and his shenanigans. Your opinion is your opinion and I respect that, as I respect everyones, message boards would be pointless if we all agreed. I was told that Boyd more or less refused to be bullied by Smith, I believe that to be the case you may not, it is a matter of choice. My opinion on Smith is well documented, Rangers must be one of the easiest managers jobs in fitba, not exactly a great deal of competition, Everton found him out and his lack of tactical nouse. I published a pure stats record earlier today, and I did add the rider about lies, damned lies and stats, you should read it, makes for interesting comparisons.
  2. You are young, you confuse don't like with don't rate as highly as you or others do, it's an opinion it's like arseholes everybody has one, cheque book managers have never been Rangers style, until Minty arrived.
  3. Boyd going stops at the door of Smith, end of.
  4. Boydy is away for one simple reason, or in fact two, he crossed Wattie and Wattie never rated him in the first place, our loss.

  7. According to stats he is, but we all know about stats and damned lies, my owmn preference is for Mr Struth...but I am just an old traditionalist, discipline respect all that sort of out of date stuff. Incidentally I am in possession of a copy of Auchenhowies title deeds, to be honest I can not make head nor tail of them. Lots of references to KELVINSIDE ACADEMY WAR MEMORIAL TRUST. C. 9. Some say the beautiful game is about winning ....at all costs...the more sage realise it is about entertainment, one thing it is not about is being bored to fekin death by negative "let's keep the point we have" piss poor baw numbing alleged tactics.

  11. That is a novel interpretation, if you can get the figures to work out over 20 years at any rate you like above LIBOR, you should get a job with William Hill. I wouldn't half mind this mythical million....
  12. Not according to the chairman. http://www.rangers.co.uk/articles/20091207/alastair-johnston-statement_2254708_1898319
  13. It's pretty clear Frankie, the credit facility reduces by £1 million a year, no mention of paying back £1 million anywhere. The bank as AJ stated expect Rangers to be eventually funded by equity as opposed to rolling debt/facility, in short .....to stand on our own feet.
  14. It was not the debt that was to be reduced by £1 million per year it is the borrowing facility. In fact, as set out in our financial statements at June 30 the bank has agreed that the Club's only obligation is to operate within a credit facility that reduces by £1 million per year.
  15. Here's me thinking they were on the same flight, Bain must have got the bus... In fact, he phoned me from Bangkok earlier today during the stop-over on the flight to Australia and made me laugh.
  16. So the reality is, after the rhebels preceding waffle, is mibees aye mibees naw... But I would temper that by saying that if the fans show patience and continue to buy season tickets - and if we can manage to bring the right three players over the line before the end of the transfer window - then it will give us a much better chance than we would appear to have at the moment."
  17. Causal Determinism is getting simpler by the hour.
  18. Rather like our phantom youth policy.....
  19. The irony is not lost, give a 40 year old a new contract and punt an 18 year old, for "footballing reasons" no doubt......so much for youth to get a chance...
  20. Away to Liverpool according to Clyde and Wattie, negotiations at advanced stage.......
  21. For the definitive answer on that aspect, you will have to confer with Titus Maccius Plautus , but I believe he was awfy no well, that awfy no well that hes awfy no well deid. Not a lot of hope there MF. :spl:
  22. is the future the past
  23. Things which you do not hope happen more frequently than things which you do hope.
  24. Wabash, being in the Autumn of his years, has realised that there are things far more important in life than fitba'. Despite what the late great Shanks claimed.
