Official: Rangers sign Jon Flanagan on 2 year deal
aweebluesoandso replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
As long as he uses his aggression against the tims and those who look to injure our players , i will be a happy Bear. -
Oh dear very sad news, met him a few times in the WRC. Always approachable and mild mannered man, a true gentleman of a bygone era. RIP sir you will be missed.
-
Whit were we thinking there?
-
Is our stadium kiosks in house now, or are they still under franchise by some company?
-
Stevie Ger will go in there after every victory, why? He only Singh's when he's winning. Oh come on it's early on a Saturday morning haha

Club1872 confirm £1million raised for share issue
aweebluesoandso replied to Dragonfly Trumpeter's topic in Rangers Chat
No, but i think a full relaunch with the backing of the new manager and the club, emphasising the importance of C1872 to the future success of the club and team. They really need to hammer it home to the wider support that our financial input through C1872 is crucial and the membership needs to increase to meet that commitment. -

I think when James Blair was virtually running the show i could agree, but he's left C1872 as far as i'm aware? Going forward is what matters now, i've said it a few times, it's a fine line between being independent and working closely with the club, it can and must be done for the good of the club. The club get the extra financial benefit from the support and the support get a representative at board level. -

I agree Frankie some of the criticism was justified. C1872 and the club need to do some joined up thinking here, at the end of the day everything C1872 does is for the benefit of the club. In saying that though independence of thought and actions by C1872 has to be seen to be done. However the club itself needs to get involved more in helping the wider Rangers support to enrol in C1872 membership, by stating the independence of C1872 but highlighting more how vital the general support financial input helps the club. -

I'm happy with this result, in an ideal world we would have had enough money for the £1mil share issue and have something left in the pot for Projects. I have my moans from time to time about C1872, it's not perfect and a work in progress, ultimately my money has gone into Rangers, surely we can all agree that is no bad thing. -
Enjoyed reading that, thank for posting. Some of the more traditionalists amongst the brethren don't like the name '' The Old Lady'' or even ''The Old Lady Of Edmiston Drive'' Me i don't mind it, gives the stadium a bit of a historical context. However Ibrox has a very masculine look maybe The Old Man of Edmiston Drive is more accurate?

I would bag up the grass cuttings, sell them off to the Bears........''era bag grass''......................huckled lol

She might be the Old Lady but i love looking at her, she matures with grace.

Easy solutions ban Blazers and supply High Viz Vests, let see who chases them. -

make a sly or petty verbal attack. I took that from the dictionary, pretty accurate description of what goes on with the sniping towards C1872. If you want the literal definition of Sniping at C1872 i would direct you to Rangers Media, there's enough sniping on there towards C1872 to keep you reading for weeks. -

You can't argue that there is a current link in C1872 to past organizations, however i find it rather hypercritical that the people who do the most moaning about these links were themselves involved in these organisations. If not directly involved with them, then they were or are part of other organisations within the Rangers family. It's a case of the pot calling the kettle black with most of the snipers imo, if Rangers called for a new all singing, dancing super duper Rangers Supporters group, you would have the ones that are currently sniping at C1872 and people involved with C1872 would want to be in it and help run it. I'm past asking ''Why can't we just all get on'' because we never will, put two Rangers supporters on a desert Island and within a day you'll have three RSC, same with two Tims, same desert Island same interest in Rangers haha. I want meaningful board participation by the support, so the thought of some representative of the support wearing a blazer doesn't bother me in the slightest. As long as the C1872 representative knows who he is representing, the support, anywho why can't C1872 supply their own Blazers? -

I split my monthly contribution 50/50 towards shares and projects, being a small businessman i liked the idea of having money put aside to build or acquire something for the benefit of the support. However looking at the bigger picture i think keeping our share percentage up and putting money through a further share purchase back into Rangers, seems the right thing to do at this juncture. If we the support want to keep up with the big boys,we have to put our money where our mouths are. -
Rangers go to battle with football authorities

Basically saying ''Nothing to see here, more along now'' I don't think Dave King is for turning. In that case let us get along to Hampden with our briefs and let them know what exactly what we want to happen to the Rangers haters in high office, the time for action is now. -

My guess is, Rangers already know he has and have the evidence to back up our allegations. -

Now i've stopped high fiving the dug, King needs to highlight the SFA and SPFL biased and corrupt recruitment policy of hiring these Rangers haters. Get rid of Nolan Partners and the celtic cabal's influence in this process, or we will be revisiting this situation again in a year. -

The SPFL would say that wouldn't they, here's another infamous plausible denial statement, ''I never had sex with that woman, Monica Lewinsky. Both bullshit of course.
