4-4-2. 5-4-1 is only for playing good teams.
-
That films bloody awful. The Coen brothers films are either great or terrible.
-
Agreed. South Park, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld etc. Jews take a very intelligent and satirical look at life.

I swear I saw that guy in Perth a few weeks ago. He had a Rangers tracksuit top on
-
get a grip ffs. You think he's deep routed in some p00re catholic king james debate? In years and years of watching rangers, he's seemed pretty fucking impartial you lot honestly fucking sound like them a lot of the time. Paranoid and ignorant
-
Aye, despite being further away in the broomloan rear the height gives you a far greater perspective on the game.
-
The thing I don't like about the broomloan front is if you're anywhere behind the goal you can see hee haw
-
I've no respect for that bigoted little gob shite whatsoever. In the fourth officials face like some animal. In the summer he said he wanted his club to get on top of refs and put pressure on them. What kind of message is that from a manager. Everything the prick does irritates the hell out of me. Played by hooligans, run by hooligans. watched by hooligans.

I think everyone with a pair of eyes had the intelligence to notice he had some talent. His talent was never utilised or demonstrated often, however. And no he didn't do a damn sight better than anything. He was largely horrific at us. At Blackpool though he looks great.
-
They drew with Atletico, a good side, and outplayed Barca for spells at the Nou Camp last night going a goal in front. They aren't overrated at all.
-
At Villa he was one of their best players and one of the best young players in the premiership. He then lost it considerably, went to Fulham and ended up here. Had he kept up his early premiership form he'd be at one of the top clubs, champ. His inconsistencies are what they are, correct, which is what I just said. Are you PMS'ing pretty hard, baby?

There's a difference between enjoying a drink and then destroying your life and others. I have sympathy for alcoholism but not when others are put at risk or harm eg his double drink driving conviction and numerous assaults. He has a family to look after too
-
Why would I want any of those players to leave? A squad is made up of more than just 11 players.
-
He didn't do well for us though.
-
Looking great for Blackpool again today. As Martin Tyler said, he's a player who always plays with his head up and looks for the right ball. I used to often think he was awful when he played for us but me thinks he is another talented player to have been wasted out of position on the left of a midfield 4. A run of games in the middle of the park and we would have had a different player
-
He was great. Crazy how at about 28 he seemed to completely lose it.
-
As I've said previously he's been inconsistant his whole career. Hence why he went from premiership golden boy to us.
-
Valencia are the best team in our group, despite losing to Man Utd. Anything from them over the 2 legs would be a good achievement
-
We have to defend very cautiously against Valencia. They're one of the top 4 or 5 teams in the world at the moment. Celtic though are mediocre and we should attack as we've shown we can do/

I take it your brother works in a pub

It's down to money and money alone. If there was money to be made in Scottish football there'd be no shortage in interested parties.

Was it not also Number Eight who said that Kris Boyd would score the same amount of goals for Man Utd or Arsenal in the premiership because they often create just as many chances? He seemed to think that if you can score chances in the box at any level then you immediately have the ability to link up and connect with far superior players .

Young talented players get huge offers all the time but it's common sense they should pick the right time and club. There's no point going to a club if they're just going to be a reserve for years. Look at Wesley Sneijder, he had big offers to move at 18/19 but stayed at Ajax, got plenty first team experience, then went to the big leagues at 22/23 and is now one of the best players in the world.

That's more or less a copy of his Lafferty article. I knew immediately who had obviously written it
-
He left at a silly time and to the wrong club. He could well become the forgotten man for several years and end up ruining his development and playing in the championship
