I think the ref panicked that there might have been an infringement and didn't want his windows smashed The only infringement was the follow through from the keeper who hit naismith after he'd punched the ball in his own net... PS - Weiss is starting to look disinterested. When he first joined he was causing all sorts of problems down the wing

I'm glad i've The Rome derby, Chelsea Liverpool and the Madrid derby later! This is pretty grim! edit - Walter really needs to change things up. They have plenty bodies in defence and are closing us down. We have no creativity whatsoever GOALLL...oh wait oh my god lmao, bang there goes the HUN CONSPIRACY
-
Jelavic can't come back soon enough. Naismith is looking jaded and Miller's starting to look like his old self . We're looking a bit too disorganised in the final third for my liking.

weiss is going to gt sent off edit - luckily not!

Ledley King is rarely fit and how the hell is he better than John Terry. Compare what both have won and the level they compete at. Terry's an integral part of possibly the strongest defence over the last several seasons in Europe.

This is a horrible quote and is making them look even worse. Also it doesn't read well at all. It sounds as if THEY are in support of PoppyScotland, then they say they are against it? They really should just shut up.

Another set piece in a good area and nothing comes of it. Sometimes I wonder if we'd be better off just playing it short and at least not losing possession. To think we had the likes of Arteta, Gio, Albertz etc taking set pieces in recent years... Fair enough we have no freekick expert (or someone even half good at them!) but any professsional should have the ability to take a good corner

He has age on his side but 19/20 is the age a talented player should really be 'making it' and starting to become a regular. We don't want him to end up being 21 and still barely featuring, his career will dwindle away. Ideally a season or 2 on loan in the English lower leagues might be an idea, as we should do with any decent youngsters who aren't going to become regulars just yet. Surely plenty championship clubs would be interested. I wouldn't ever really loan players to shite Scottish clubs because I think it's a complete waste of time and unlikely to result in any development. We have too many youngsters who hang around until about 21/22 and then disappear for free, it's a waste of time. Paul Emslie was at the club a long time and only featured in one cup match. I know him personally and knew he was very unlikely to be good enough,

We've started fairly brightly and at least look in command. We really need to start rotating this team though!

You have completely missed my point. Bombs or no bombs, you cannot illegally invade an ILLEGAL, UNDEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED REGIME. Possibly best we leave this, I get the impression you're drunk and ranting nonsense. This banner is atrocious and need not be remotely justified in any shape or form.
-
Firstly, given the context they are presented in, nothing is spot on. To bring such matters into the issue of rememberance day is ridiculous. Secondly, they were not 'illegal invasions', do some fucking research. You can only illegally invade a LEGAL regime and political entity. Britain and America were and are well within their rights to invade these countries. How the fuck can anyone moan about us invading a country like Iraq which was completely undemocratic and persecuted many of its inhabitants. Jesus get a grip. Ironically there is one democratically elected government in the middle east with good living conditions. Who is it? Big, bad evil Israel PS - I can't really believe what you have just said, given you've seemed sensible in the past. It's as if some half-wit has taken over your computer. Honestly, socialist apathy in this country is out of control as it is without it flowing into forums like here where we should have strong and intelligent values.

I'm glad to see this. Though does he really have to bring up the small squad factor....it makes us look more pathetic. How about, we're doing well and have no reason to sell any of our best players? Instead it's 'we're a tiny team I hope no big boys take our players away'...PR disaster zone

Lennon's a fat wee ginger bigot with a tiny penis

I made a suitable alteration:

lol that's a bit harsh on us. Fair enough Celtic are not much better than much of the championship but we would hold our own against the vast majority of premiership sides. We're better than West Brom, Blackpool etc! Conversely, even the likes of Bolton have a stronger squad than us but overall we're as good as anyone outwith the top 6/7 imo, at least in a 2 legged tie with a full strength team.

And is now worth much more

The SPL really is getting worse, to the point where much of the sides are no better than conference level. At least Hibs and Hearts used to be half decent.
-
This is a poor Celtic side as demonstrated by their European results and against us but they're competing in a dreadful league and much better than anyone other than us. I think quite cleverly Lennon has his side fired up and ready to hammer the mediocrity put in front of them. I don't see them losing many points this season.

spurs really need to get a world class centre half and striker. Van Der Vaart, Modric and Bale are wasted at a side not competing for anything.
-
Stekelenburg the Ajax keeper I'm sure if reported to be worth £20m or something. Granted he is the Holland keeper and has a world cup final under his belt but the fact remains that big clubs in similarly small countries protect their assets better than us. If McGregor was putting in these at ANY other half decent side in the champions league or just playing at a big club I swear he'd be worth crazy money. I watch a lot of football and there's few keepers out there as impressive as him at the moment. I'd say McGregor, Joe Hart and Ben Foster are the best keepers in Britain at the moment after Cech. And I wonder what Foster and Hart would be worth

There are many things I hate in life, as my general negativity suggests. But nothing matches the disdain I have for this football club. It is beyond them being our rivals. I see this club doing things that repulse me and I really don't like it. I hate every fucking thing they stand for. They take one thing which all British people should be united for and turn against it. Regardless of political orientation or religious or philosophical ideology, supporting the valiant efforts of our brave troops is as straightforward as 1 + 1 =2 fucking ****** cunts

Thought that was a terrific game, at least the second half anyway. Bolton played some great short passing in the final third and have many decent players. With them 3-0 up they looked in cruise control but Alan Hutton went on one of his 2007-esque runs and scored one of the best goals you'll see a fullback score all season. It was refreshing to hear Andy Gray call it right yet again by saying if Bale had done it everyone would be 'waxing lyrical'. pavlyuchenko then got a phenominal volley and just when spurs thought they were back in it Martin Petrov burst through and scored a decent goal. I've never been much of a Bolton fan and although the Kevin Davies flick on is still a common route to goal, they pass the ball about. Owen Coyle has a good future in the game IMO. Yet another shocking defensive performance from Spurs and this will stop them ever getting anywhere. They are great fun to watch but Redknapp is a very poor tactician IMO. Their victory over Inter was special but you would rarely see an astute tactician losing 4 goals to bolton. I'm not sure if Spurs success is overly down to Harry, it's hard not to pick up points when you have probably the best midfield in the league outside Chelsea and Arsenal, at least in terms of creativity. Then again he signed them, even if he has spent more than some of the best teams in the world over the past 5 seasons. Van Der Vaart is quickly looking like the signing of the century, on his day there's few better. PS - It's frustrating to see a side like Bolton have the likes of Petrov on the bench. We need a random billionaire to take an interest in us

As I've said on here time and time again, would be nice to see the club take a stand and say not for sale. Instead we'll give off the impression that we can't be quick enough to accept a bid. 'Every player has his price' makes me cringe, particularly given it has different implications of when it was originally said. One thing we could learn from Celtic (gasp) is to play hardball over any transfers. If we get anything over £7m yes he'll likely be off but we shouldn't make it easy. Then again maybe it doesn't play into the interests of those in charge to put off any interested parties . Tell the media nobody's for sale, but keep a quiet ear out for any large offers. That should be how we conduct ourselves . Not so long ago we were even telling the media what minimum fee release clause on of our players (Cousin) had . The only time I've ever seen anyone do that is if the clause is hugely high so interest is squashed ps - I think plenty premiership teams will be interested in him because a keeper of his quality would cost double at any other remotely big club

Before he's signed up I wonder if he knows something we don't... He seems very content to sit on the bench for a keeper of his quality

I just noticed the 'pure speshul' player who came nowhere near the criteria required for a work permit but got one anyone on appeal because Celtic told them to currently plays in division 2 in Japan. We also got Maurice Edu on similar grounds but that case had merit and he has since proven his worth for club and country. Given a player proven to be a no mark (Mizuno) was judged to be good enough to not require a proper permit, where does that leave clubs wanting foreign imports who don't meet the criteria in the future? The Mizuno fiasca looks even worse when you consider Jason Scotland was not permitted a new permit to play in the SPL at Dundee Utd. Scotland has since scored freely in the English championship and even played a season in the premiership. Incidentally, this cringeworthy quote is worth a read. This other 'pure speshul' sensation Nakamura who rarely played well against us barely got a game for Espanyol and now plays for Yokohama Marinos :spl: Better than Dalglish  . No wonder Gordan Strachan is such an absymal manager with judgement like that
