  1. Indeed and this is a chance to play against one of the biggest european teams, will give our players experience before getting chucked into the deep end. Which could be in the 3rd qualifier. Alos it's a way of making money, glamour friendly. Liverpool bringing a large support up, Rangers fans will mostly sell ou the rest of the ground. Should be a good game, good atmosphere, although nothing will beat the Chelsea game for me
  2. Agreed although i would much rather support City Of Manchester than Manchester Utd, i think it's great what they fans have done. Think Liverpool fans have started doing the same
  3. Football Club United of Manchester (FC United of Manchester, FC United, FCUoM or FCUM for short) is a semi-professional English football club based in Bury. The club was formed in 2005 by Manchester United supporters following Malcolm Glazer's controversial takeover which led to thousands of supporters defecting from the club. They are affectionately referred to as "The Red Rebels". Although the majority of the club's support comes from Manchester and the surrounding area, its supporters club has branches in more than ten countries including France, Poland, New Zealand, the United States and Canada. The local cable television station Channel M began a monthly series of programmes about the club in January 2006. Television crews from France, Israel and the Netherlands have been seen at the team's matches. FC United's first three seasons were successful, winning promotion each time. FC United entered at the tenth level of the English football league system (the second division of the North West Counties Football League) and they were confirmed as champions on 15 April 2006 and followed that up by being crowned as champions of Division 1 on 18 April 2007. The 2007-08 season saw them finish second in the Northern Premier League Division One North then gain promotion through the end of season play-offs. During their first season (2005-06), they had a higher average attendance than seven league clubs, including Bury with whom FC United share a ground. It was also the second-highest average attendance in English non-League football.[1] Although attendances have fallen in subsequent seasons, they were still the 100th best supported club in 2007-08.[2]. Their record attendance is 6,023 for a match against Great Harwood Town on 22 April 2006. The team is managed by the former Macclesfield Town player Karl Marginson. Looks a great wee team
  4. I'm actually lost on my staurdays without the football ! Listened to the game on the Rangers site today but it still isn't the same ! Was at the Clyde game which has got me set up for the new season, but to back into heaven on Wednesday will be great
  5. All i was saying regarding Boruc was how the media reacted, they kind of brushed it under the carpet. Wasn't saying what should of happened if he should of been fined, behind bars or whatever. I'm trying to make the link betweek him and Healy, Healy done it as a wind up, so did Boruc. But the Scottish media went crazy what Healy done One Scotland, many cultures except protestantism
  6. Where can i find it mate, might take a wee read over it. Just the whole Scottish media stir everything up, even if you look at the David Healy incidents they are making it bigger than what it is. Although when Boruc wears a god bless the pope t-shirt he gets called silly and not an up-roar from the papers etc. More and more im thinking 1 Scotland ,many cultures ,except protestantism
  7. Hope your right Pete as the champions league qualifier teams meant to be in for tonight ? So hopefully we can get Davis tied up. What have we spent so far this summer ? £6 million or something and subtract how much we got for Sebo and Buffel. So lets say we have spent £5million so far. I am confident that we will have at least £10million - £15million still in the transfer kitty
  8. Does that suprise you ?
  9. Indeed it was, never heard one bit of noise, not even a mobile phone going off ! Although what did annoy me was that some Clyde officials or whatever were walking round the track, on the gravel and all you heard was crunch crunch crunch, surely they could of stood and payed respects for a minute.
  10. No Cuellar will stay with us Him and McGregor could be the two biggest signings for us this summer. Although i think Cuellar should be rewarded with a bigger deal and an extension
  11. The minutes silence was for ex Rangers goalkeeper George Niven who passed away last week at the ge of 79
  12. Thats what dissapointed me last night, i was waiting outside the main door and i turned round and got a glance or Numan and Albertz going into a side entrance, through a gate or something escorted by stewards, i don't know if Laudrup was there as well. Was gutting as wanted to get photos of them, especially for Clyde fans as well not being able to see Albertz their own player when the rest of their players were walking in happily signing autographs. Graeme Smith is the other photo
  13. While warming up, he came to behind the goals to sign autographs etc. I was trying get a photo of him, telling him to pose and smile, which to be fair he did smile, think in a sarcastic way though. Then put my hand out to shake his hand while he was trying to sign autographs, he shoke with his left, i said you dont shake with your left hand Alan, he replied i dont write with my left either Great come back
  14. Going back to queen street i must of got one about 2210 or something. Then went to the blue lagoon in Glasgow for a munch since i only had a roll and sausage for my breakfast that morning, so i missed the 2245 train home to Johnstone but got the 2300.
  15. I thought we played not bad last night, our passing was very good, no high ball stuff, always on the deck which was nice to see. But with that type of play fans need to be patient when we have the ball, i agree with Ascender we need a creative midfielder, lst night at times that killer pass wasn't there. emdani and Thomson was in the middle, none of they two will support the strikers, although Novo & McCulloch pushed up and so did Whittaker and Papac if they could. Had a good few chances, especially Darche who missed an absolute sitter, Miller had a few chance, McCulloch had a few good long range efforts expecially one that cracked the bar The game is all about fitness, getting to know the new faces and getting passing crisper What i found intresting is that Boyd, Velicka, Adam and Emslie all came on as subs when they featured in the earlier on game yesterday. Was great to see Albertz, Laudrup and Numan, although Numan went off after 30mins or something, anyone know why ? Laudrup is still a genius with a ball, in one move he skinned Papac and Weir, was brilliant, even though its against our own team. Spurring on Albertz at the free kick to rifle it into the net
  16. Just seen that there Never believe anything on follow follow lol
  17. Think we won 3-1, with Cousin getting the other Alexander McLachlan Dailly Webster Wilson Lennon Furman Adam Fleck Cousin Boyd

  19. Beat me to it Will just listen to the game on the Rangers website tonight. Like yourself my first game will be next wednesday
  20. Yeah same for me Been running slow the last few days
  21. Im gutted. Heart and soul of the team taking out ! Hopefully he gets rest and we can manage without him up to then. Maybe time for Furman i'm thinking ? And get Thomson to take charge of that midfield
