Takes out a ball out of his bad, while another guy videos him doing loads of different football tricks outside the gates next to the Broomie stand, anyone else see him ? He was rather good, when he dropped the ball i whistled weet weel, he had a wee chuckle :p

UVF ?? What... Anyway the two enclosures had a good number of Ulster flags, also the flag which belongs to myself and others in the East Enclosure was out yesterday. Was TBO display looked good, i was in the Broomie Front as usual, was plenty of Ulster flags in amongst there. Govan and Copland never really had any, apart from the Union Bears Banner

Celtic won 3-1

Alexander performed well today, had a terrific save in the seconf half when we were 2-0. Good thing is that we have two top quality keepers

Should be good enough for against Motherwell who chased the ball about all last night. Come On The Holy Newspaper

I thought it was an attempted forward flip, but once i seen the replays on tv it was a forward roll. 30 more of them this season please Kris

I am actually fuming about this As each day goes on i am thinking, 1 Scotland, many cultures except protestantism. They are singing songs about a terrorist organisation every single week, play Irish republican songs loud over the tannoys at games etc etc. One of their songs is about the IRA killing Novo with a bullet, i am offended by this ! Everyone get mailing the Spanish embasy situated in the UK to tell them that a certain Nacho Novo life is in danger with this song. If they are offended by stupid wee things they should all go home, simple as that. The famine is indeed over, so get to fuck

My 5 megapixel phone camera isn't that good when it's zoomed in full. Scoreboards looked cracking, so did the new clock which adds to the fancy new advertising boards. The CDL banner said : " Intimidated ? Victamised ? Are you feeling threatened from the darkside then call..... Scum since 1888 "

In my opinion Ferguson and Thomson is our best choice in central midfield. I would hate to see Fletcher missed out, he has a bit of magic about him. Although when Morrison's fit put Maloney right and Morrison left ?? Once we have a full fit team we have a selection headache, we have a good number of players in our squad Hence why we are going to South Africa

Great result last night and we played some good football at times too. McManus is just a dafty, can't believe that he tried to argue with the ref last night Caldwell had a good game but to be honest with you, i'm just waiting for him to a mistake, he always does it. Big Kirk has been brilliant so far this season, well done to him last night, proud of him. I was thinking this of a back 4 : Hutton Caldwell, Weir, Broadfoot Even though Disco Dave is 38 and if we got to the world cup he would be 40, but the big man is great and deserves it, brilliant proffesional. To be honest i think Brown is pretty poor and Robson too although he has good corner kicks. My midfield would be{ Flether Ferguson Thomson Maloney Although we have a good few back up players. I honestly starting to think McFadden is overated, i would love to see a Fletcher and Miller up front. Thoughts ?

Seen the last 30 mins after the Scotland game and England were playing some very good stuff, look like a total different team

They are very decent games for decent prices I still get classed as a concession so my tickets are very cheap but my dads are like £23 each game ( at least ) -
2-1 to the Russians now Wales couldn't clear their lines and looks like the 3 points will be heading to the home team
-
Watching this on Setanta this now Wales missed a penalty early on, then Russia recieved a penalty and scord it Although Wales just scored a great equaliser there on 66 minutes, the guy who missed the penalty drove into the box, by to Russia players, cut the ball across for a tap in for the waiting striker Good game

Great Read - Are You Happy With Football Today

Was a long read, but i got really into it, it's nice to hear someone's story and explained it very well. I feel sorry for the EPL fans, get ripped off. Isn't as bad up here but compared to other countries it's pretty expensive. I loved how his brother sold the chest of drawers to go to the away european game -
Looking forward to tonight's game now that school is finished. The beer's and cider are in the fridge chilling, then round to my mates later on. Hopefully a good night with the lads and a good result. Heard Iceland are ranked something like 110 in the world ?? Surely this is an easy win, although they have a big name star called Gudjohnson in their ranks, so won't be an easy game. Hope Burley seen how poor some of the players were the other day, makes a strong decision and drops them. Is Morrison fit ?? He would be a great addition to the left hand side of midfield I've heard 4-3-3, how good would a Boyd, Miller and McFadden partnership sound. Even if Miller doesn't make it, put S.Fletcher in his place. If we play 4-4-2 i say we have the players to play that as well. Broadfoot is a must at right back, sorry Alexander but you aren't good enough. Two different line ups i'm suggesting are : _________________Gordon_________________ Broadfoot___McManus____Caldwell____Naysmith ____Brown______D.Fletcher_____Robson _______Miller*______Boyd____McFadden_______ * Steven Fletcher _________________Gordon_________________ Broadfoot___McManus____Caldwell____Naysmith Maloney____Robson_____D.Fletcher____Commons ____________Miller*_______McFadden____________ * Boyd or Steven Fletcher Hope you all enjoy tonight's game, let this be where we kick off from to get through to the world cup in South Africa. Come on Scotland, i haven't seen you in a major tournament, i remember watching the opening game in 1998 against Brazil, John Collins penalty. I was 7 years old then, 10 years on and still nothing. The tarten army will be out on force tonight, hope they all had safe journeys over and same the way back All join together, we are the greatest nation in the world. SCOTLAND !

This is from a comment left on an excellent Liverpool Forum by the name of Red And White Kop. It makes for interesting reading. "My brother has been to more games than I could ever wish to and has probably spent more money on the club than he has on the two houses and four cars heââ?¬â?¢s had in his lifetime. One of my abiding memories I have as a child is him going missing for days, off to follow the Reds through any means he could. When he finished school, he moved out of our house and moved in with a couple of the lads he went to the games with. I always remember my Dadââ?¬â?¢s reaction when he found out he had sold a chest of drawers that had been in the family for years in order for him to fund a trip to Finland. He may have been old enough to have moved out, but he wasnââ?¬â?¢t old enough to get a clip round the ear. Iââ?¬â?¢m pretty sure he received another one upon returning when we had lost the game 1-0, as well! I wonââ?¬â?¢t lie ââ?¬â?? I was green with envy when he'd tell me tales of him and the lads traveling to some far corner of the earth to see The Mighty Reds. I myself went through a period of not missing a single game over a number of seasons, but I could never match his shoeboxes full of ticket stubs that took pride of placeââ?¬Â¦ under his bed. The way he was so carefree about it always makes me smile but it just goes to show that it was merely ââ?¬Ë?part of lifeââ?¬â?¢ for him. He married in 1985, but still wouldnââ?¬â?¢t miss a game. His wife must have been the most understanding of women on the planet, because when we went round to his house, he lived in practical poverty and still heââ?¬â?¢d be up early on a Saturday morning either down to Anfield for a pint of seven before the game or off to be picked up by a coach to be taken to a ground somewhere in the country. When he had a kid in 1989 things changed. He still managed to attend an impressive number of games ââ?¬â?? fortunately, he wasnââ?¬â?¢t at Hillsborough ââ?¬â?? but priorities shift in life. As his little lad grew up, he began taking him to the odd game and a picture of the two together on The Kop just after it became all-seated takes pride of place in his front room (donââ?¬â?¢t worry, I always tell him he is a whopper for taking a camera to the game). In 1996, my Mother was diagnosed with encephalitis ââ?¬â?? a disease that, in some cases is known to have just a 30% survival rate. Naturally, priorities shifted once again. Understandably, mine and my brothersââ?¬â?¢ ââ?¬Ë?contactââ?¬â?¢ with Liverpool Football Club during this period waned. I found out 6 or 7 results at a time as my mind was on more pressing matters. My Mum was treated in hospital for roughly seven months and thankfully survived. Since then, my brother hasnââ?¬â?¢t been to Liverpool games regularly. He moved out to Southport with his new wife (I knew his ex couldnââ?¬â?¢t take it much more) and he had another baby, this time a girl who demands more time and attention than any football club ever could! Before the start of this past season, however, he rang me up one evening. He said he always felt sorry that his lad (now 17) hasnââ?¬â?¢t had the same opportunities of being able to go to Anfield like he did when he was growing up and asked me how he went about getting a ticket these days. I said he would need a fan card and that he might have to be patient on the phone-lines one morning. He agreed, initially saying ââ?¬Ë?itââ?¬â?¢s a good idea being able to phone upââ?¬â?¢. Any of you who have attempted to attain tickets by this route will know how naÃ?¯ve he was. So September comes and he rings me again. ââ?¬Ë?I couldnââ?¬â?¢t get through on the phonesââ?¬â?¢ he said, ââ?¬Ë?but I managed to get through online after refreshing the page a thousand and one timesââ?¬â?¢. I laugh, but heââ?¬â?¢s not actually speaking in a jokey manner. ââ?¬Ë?There were no tickets in The Kop, so weââ?¬â?¢re in the Anfield Rd.ââ?¬â?¢ Despite the reputation it has these days, I keep schtum. I figure itââ?¬â?¢d be funny for him to find out how what was once the ââ?¬Ë?cult Kopââ?¬â?¢ is now a haven for the jester-hat wearing, ââ?¬Ë?Easehââ?¬â?¢ chanting brigade for himself. He continues, ââ?¬Ë?Guess how much it cost?ââ?¬â?¢ Considering I, quite honestly, had never bought tickets online before I take a shot in the dark, ââ?¬Ë?Fifty quid?ââ?¬â?¢ ââ?¬Ë?Seventy-sevenââ?¬â?¢ comes the reply and you can hear the astonishment in his voice. He proceeded to tell me how much it would cost if he and his son went to every home game of the season with that cost (and because Iââ?¬â?¢ve forgotten, Iââ?¬â?¢ve had to do it myself now). Ã?£1,463. And that doesnââ?¬â?¢t take into account typical match-day expenses. There is a part of me that enjoys how Iââ?¬â?¢ve become the bearer of knowledge in our family now in how you attain tickets, but itââ?¬â?¢s just wrong isnââ?¬â?¢t it? This is somebody that would ââ?¬â?? and that covers past and present ââ?¬â?? do pretty much anything within his limits for this club. This is a man that worked shifts in the local grocers every night of the week just so he could go to the game. This is a man who has past the turnstiles more times than Iââ?¬â?¢ve had hot dinners. Who has been there through the good and bad. More cup finals than some have been full stop. And now he goes to the game as a tourist simply because heââ?¬â?¢s priced out. And what was the game he managed to see? Liverpool 0-0 Birmingham, sat in a seat in the Anfield Rd end that cuts off The Kop goal. Donââ?¬â?¢t get me wrong, you can possess passion while sat a million miles away from Anfield. You can feel so much pleasure sat in the comfort of your own home watching your side play, butââ?¬Â¦ where has the connection gone? When did it become an honour for us to see our players rather than it being an honour for them playing in front of their fans? The decline of English football is apparent for all to see, and what has it seriously achieved? What good has the money done? The National sides are a million miles away from the perceived ââ?¬Ë?potentialââ?¬â?¢ spoken of in the media. It seems the only English players to progress through the academy find themselves in limbo for a number of years before never matching their hype, incapable of breaking into the team because an expensive foreigner the club bought plays in his position. Maybe Iââ?¬â?¢m just an old fart that hasnââ?¬â?¢t moved with the times, but these are questions that need answering. Why does it cost Ã?£6.50 to sit behind the goal at the San Siro to see AC Milan, Ã?£9.50 to see Bayern Munich, but it is Ã?£40 minimum to go and watch Chelsea? Funny how both Italy and Germany have reached more finals since the turn of the Millennium than England have in over 40 years as well isnââ?¬â?¢t it? Why do policemen and firefighters earn roughly Ã?£25,500 a year when Wayne Rooney ââ?¬â?? thicker than a dockersââ?¬â?¢ butty ââ?¬â?? earns Ã?£1,670 a Premier League MINUTE!! The sad thing is people donââ?¬â?¢t even bat an eyelid to this anymore. Itââ?¬â?¢s become accepted and whether itââ?¬â?¢s nancy-boy Ronaldo whoring himself out to Real Madrid for more money or Joey Barton being welcomed out of prison with open arms by his new manager, I donââ?¬â?¢t know. But Iââ?¬â?¢m quickly falling out of love with the game. This summer - in the break after a season of off-field tussles and political statements being published every second in the media - has just seemed to highlight the negatives so much so that I have to squint to see the positives. In this current climate, how long will it be before people say enough is enough? I canââ?¬â?¢t help but cast an envious eye over to German football. FC Schalke charge under five pounds for their cheapest ticket. Their former manager questioned, ââ?¬Å?How can we expect unemployed supporters to subsidize high-earning players?ââ?¬Â People scowl at the Bundesliga. The Premier League and La Liga are the best leagues, they say. For entertainment, maybe. But what is the use in entertaining us when all we can do is clench our fists in delight in front of a computer screen or television. I declare the Bundesliga the league to watch, because it is one of the few in Europe that is in touch with reality. No Sky Sports, no round the clock news on sweet fkuc all and no godforsaken kick-off times. It aims to please its fans. Good, pure, honest football as it should be. The thing I neglected to mention about that story of my brother buying those tickets was that his lad came back with a beaming smile on his face. Football goes hand-in-hand with passion, but itââ?¬â?¢s about time we directed that away from the primadonnas and media-driven frenzies that occur with every tabloid article published and attempt to claw back the game so we are no longer pathetic sheep herded in wherever weââ?¬â?¢re told to. We must act. Before it is too late."

I must agree with you here, at times i myself have game personal biast to some players. I normally get excited about Scotland games, but Saturday i wasn't really that fussed and tonight i am not overlly excited but looking forward to spending time with my mates, bevy and watch the game together. Maybe it's because it's away games and not against a big team to get excited about. I absolutely love going to Hampden for the home games, get excited at the start of the week just like an Old Firm game or a european night.
