  2. On franz we played Bayern in a final with him in it and 6 others whom won the World Cup in 74 any one watch that game ? 1971
  3. It was his leg wasn’t it
  4. Amazing talents Especially Van Nistelrooy loved him at Man Utd so fluent in his game.
  5. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67917047 my internet froze literally 🤣 did any one see this man play when Scotland played Germany
  6. Is there even such players these days in the market who can stay injury free for that long?
  7. It’s such a shame we are lacking goal scorers wanting to come to Rangers gone the day we could easily cough up £6-£8 million, especially now we are in Europe mostly every season hopefully with Jack Todd and Sterling we can attract few players from down south if not this season then definitely next who aren’t getting any playing Time.
  8. 🤣 I knew it! And he knew what he was playing at with VAR
  9. Legendary thanks m8, I love the fact he is wearing the Rangers Top. its not legendary well it is 🤣 major balls up of a penalty can you remember any ? https://twitter.com/nocontextfooty/status/1743725746332340308?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1743725746332340308|twgr^|twcon^s1_c10&ref_url=about%3Ablank
  10. I say little one she’s 8 , it Gets the blood flowing especially if it’s a cold night haha, I don’t suppose there’s any Old legions for veterans near by or is that who you know type thing? I seen parking attendants next to Ibrox or that an arm and a leg to park there.
  11. Thanks I’m usually willing to risk it for a biscuit but 9/10 I usually go myself but was bringing the little one along, so I thought it wise to book a space in advance. ♥️🤍💙
  12. Yeah I think I am 🤣🤣, Porrini was a great player the one player I never seen was Marco Negri, I would have loved to have watched him play, especially in his first season before he got injured.
  13. Sterling scoring a fantastic goal 🤣 I would love to think what they say about Tavs goals if they think this is fantastic https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/67904143
  14. I’ve just done one for parking near Ibrox and how I was parking in a space that wasn’t there to rent out 🤣 I was wondering what areas to use and avoid or sites to use? is there a post about this if so you can delete
  15. I know it’s a bit of a stupid topic but if you get a ticket it costs as much as a match day ticket, I used the just park app to find a parking space on match day, I used the one next to FarmRoad next to the Tradeston Serviceman’s club twice now, I found out on my second visit the space I was renting wasn’t there’s to rent out 🤣 The owners of the space who own the property were fine about it and let me park there , is there Areas to avoid or does anyone recommend areas to use.
  16. VAR, VAR, on the wall, Who's the fairest of them all? Is it the ref, or is it me? I'm confused, I cannot see. The ball went in, or so I thought, But VAR says it was offside, caught. I'm left to wonder, what's the truth? Did VAR make the right call, or was it uncouth? The fans are angry, the players too, They're all shouting, "What did you do?" VAR just shrugs, and says with a grin, "I'm just a machine, I can't commit a sin." So there you have it, VAR's decision, It's final, there's no revision. We'll just have to accept the call, And hope that next time, we won't fall. our next song if we can remember it (Verse 1) VAR, VAR, what's the score? I can't keep up anymore. The ref's on the pitch, but he's not in charge, It's the machine that's living large. (Chorus) VAR, VAR, it's a mystery, It's changing the game, can't you see? It's making us laugh, it's making us cry, It's the star of the show, oh my! (Verse 2) The ball goes in, the crowd goes wild, But wait, the ref's not sure, he's feeling mild. He checks the screen, he takes his time, And then he makes the call, it's sublime. (Chorus) VAR, VAR, it's a mystery, It's changing the game, can't you see? It's making us laugh, it's making us cry, It's the star of the show, oh my! (Bridge) Some say it's fair, some say it's not, But we can all agree, it's a robot. It's got no heart, it's got no soul, But it's making the decisions, that's the goal. (Chorus) VAR, VAR, it's a mystery, It's changing the game, can't you see? It's making us laugh, it's making us cry, It's the star of the show, oh my!
  17. yeah 🤣🤣

  20. This is when we signed Porrini wasn’t it ? He only played a few times for us similar to what’s happening now with Barasic and Ridvan can’t remember the preferred one though. that’s him Gregory Vignal he was preferred to Porrini I believe
  21. 1995 Juventus team Porrini was in that team.
  22. impugning ie to call into question so there for our decision is final, it’s only going to get worse over time ie next few weeks especially when fixtures start ramping up, I can’t wait to see what happens to the Everton appeal, I know it’s a Red card incident but still Everton has logged an appeal. Controversial Decisions: Despite its intention to improve accuracy, VAR has led to contentious decisions. Players, managers, and fans have expressed frustration when goals are disallowed or awarded based on fine margins, often involving offside calls or subjective judgments1. Technical Limitations: Frame Rate and Resolution: The cameras used in VAR sometimes struggle to keep up with fast movements, resulting in blurred images of players or the ball. This limitation can impact the accuracy of decisions2. First Point of Contact: VAR relies on cameras capturing the exact moment of play. However, determining the “first point of contact” (e.g. for offside decisions) isn’t always straightforward. The technology’s 50 frames per second may not always align precisely with critical moments3. Subjectivity and Consistency: Referee Interpretation: VAR decisions still involve human judgment. Referees interpret incidents differently, leading to inconsistencies in how VAR is applied across matches. Emotional Impact: VAR’s intervention can alter the emotional dynamics of a game. Celebrations are cut short, and goals are disallowed after lengthy reviews, affecting players and fans alike. Reduced Excitement: While fans now witness VAR decisions on screens, almost half believe that its introduction has made football less exciting. The anticipation of celebrating a goal has been dampened by the uncertainty of VAR reviews1. In summary, while VAR aims to enhance fairness, its flaws highlight the delicate balance between precision and preserving the spirit of the game. Football continues to grapple with finding the right balance in leveraging technology without compromising the essence of the sport.
