  1. 99% of Loaned players may not be fully committed to our club, and they may not be able to adapt to the team’s style of play as quickly as a player who has been bought. Furthermore, loaning players can be expensive like we have known in the past , as the club will have to pay a portion of the player’s wages while they are on loan which in itself is a horrendous amount and is only the players they are wanting to cut there expenses to be honest. while loaning players can be a useful tool in certain situations like ours in search for a striker , I think buying players is generally a better option for us if we are wanting to build a strong and stable team capable of reaching new heights, instead of loaning players that are generally considered as gone past there peak. I honestly thought Djion was good but not what he has become over time top top quality we have in our ranks, all he wanted to do was play football and left Chelsea to join Rangers so let’s have more of that please instead of wasting time and money on old washed up players.
  2. It is indeed 😈 considering what Rangers offers in football terms with European football plus the prospect of every season more or less we will win a cup, it Goes to show what the board are after and that is in my opinion to maximise their profits. Yes like Frankie has said it will be best to get a player in on loan especially in such short time? also will we have clause like before with Tillman ? and miss out on another opportunity to sign a player who is flourishing in the SPL and solving our problems in positions we are lacking firepower from. Also if I’m being honest what is the recruitment team doing to not push the European football to other team players who are fringe players at there club, players of talent could flourish at Rangers like Jack Todd Dijon are doing now but get them on a contract.

  4. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67930766 Former Arsenal star and Ajax Marc Overmars has been given a worldwide football ban by Fifa. The suspension was initially applied by the Dutch football authorities (KNVB) following an investigation into his behaviour towards women during his time at Ajax. Overmars quit his role in February 2022 but has since taken over as technical director at Belgian club Royal Antwerp. In November, he was banned from football in his homeland for one year, with a further year suspended. The world governing body has now confirmed the suspension has been extended. “Fifa can confirm that following a request by the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB), the Fifa Disciplinary Committee has decided to extend the sanction imposed by KNVB on Mr Marc Overmars to have worldwide effect.”
  5. If I can add to your post, what is this Rangers TV all about charging people £240 a year for a subscription. I know for a fact if they were to add the price for MyGers also I’d consider buying both or even a monthly subscription if it was under one umbrella, I’d happily pay £15 a month for a membership but the fact it’s here there and everywhere is just a pain , i guarantee far more MyGers will come forward if it’s a better package for both MyGers and RTV
  6. gossip from BBC sport Michi Batschuayi https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67932279 The more this January drags on the more I’m starting to believe Shankland or someone who has played in the SPL is coming in. stats for him let’s hope not ⬇️

  8. Definitely worth the watch nice one 🤜🏼
  9. Indeed 100% but if there going by last season numbers then great , I honestly don’t think they should cut it out completely, what if all clubs did this well we know Celtic have done it or is that only for us visiting them? The atmosphere is already zapped with VAR cutting the goal celebrations short, we need a little bit of rivalry however low the numbers are to spur us home fans on to get behind our team when they take a early lead , as we all know atmosphere is what makes us different from the rest.
  10. The verdicts out and the powers that be have overturned this Red card on Lewis, so why can’t the powers that be acknowledge when Gollum was at fault? Is it the way Everton spoke to the VAR team ? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/67922687
  11. Is Hutton spot on? BBC sports article. You can't not be impressed with Clement' - Hutton Published
3 hours ago
Former Rangers full-back Alan Hutton says it's impossible to not be impressed by the job Philippe Clement has done at Rangers, and thinks the Ibrox side could kick on again after the January transfer window. Clement has helped Rangers to the knockout stages of the Europa League and won the Viaplay Cup since taking over from Michael Beale earlier this season - and has his side currently sitting eight points behind Celtic in the league with two games in hand. "You can’t not be impressed," Hutton said. "Winning the League Cup and into the last 16 of the Europa League, winning that group was massive for them. "But just in general their play, I think it has changed under the new manager, the only blip obviously was against Celtic, but they’re definitely closing the gap. "I think it’s something in January he’ll probably look to improve again and go again and try to be stronger. "For the new manager coming in he’ll have his own thoughts and ideas and he’ll be looking to bring in people that are going to make them stronger. "So of course it’s going to be important for him, it’s going to be important for the hierarchy to get that right to give him the tools to then go forward to try and match and better Celtic because everyone knows you’re under pressure at these clubs to try and win trophies."
  12. Chelsea vs Middlesbrough Thoughts I’ve missed it! Some comments ⬇️ Mike: And that's why we need VAR. Love it or hate it. That is a stonewall penalty and such an important decision for 'Boro in a game like this. David: It should have been a penalty and the fouled player has to go off injured. There are pros and cons to not having VAR. This falls very much into the latter category. Dan: Anywhere else on the pitch and that is a yellow card and free kick. Why is it not the same in the area? On Axel Disasi's challenge on Emmanuel Latte Lath.
  13. Debate kicking of on BBC sports app be interesting to see what others are thinking. The advent of VAR in football has utterly sapped the soul out of the best part of the game: the scoring of a goal. Now, as the ball hits the back of the net, instead of erupting into ecstatic cheers, we find ourselves mired in a maddening limbo, our joy on a leash, as we await the cold, clinical verdict of a video replay. This isn't the football I fell in love with; this isn't the sport where spontaneous jubilation united strangers in collective euphoria. The game's fluidity is now constantly interrupted by jarring stoppages, referees second-guessing themselves, and fans bewildered by perplexing rulings. It feels like we're trading the game's human heart for technological precision, but what's the point if it strips away the raw emotion, the very essence of football? We wanted fairness, but not at the cost of the game's soul, not if it means the purest form of happiness in the sport is diluted by the sterile anticipation of approval from an unseen, all-seeing electronic eye. Football was never meant to be perfect; it's the flaws, the human errors, and the instant drama that gave it its life. VAR, is turning our beautiful, flowing game into a stop-start spectacle that's as much about waiting as it is about watching. Get rid. Jake

  16. That was the words from Bobby in a interview I seen ,he was saying how he was tasked with marking him and Franz was given the same task but during the game Franz ran over too Bobby for the indication to say I’m marking you, now I’m not going to say that wasn’t the case as I didn’t watch it but that’s what Bobby said, I’ll try find the clip 🤜🏼♥️🤍💙
  17. Man Utd Vs Wigan game last night I never seen it but was it the right call from the referee or could VAR have stepped in ? comment from a Man Utd supporter BBC sport app ⬇️ There was contact for the penalty, but football is a contact sport. Fernandes could have absolutely kept on going. He made an active decision to fall over. I am a Man Utd fan, but even I felt bad for Wigan when that was given. Aly
  18. 100% surely there should be a clause that they also need to do the same thing if taking a player on loan in playing him when he is fit , if not and the other club sees that then a recall should be implemented , especially when we have difficulties in positions.
  19. I looked at the date below it 🤣🤣 think my eye site is falling me
