Match Thread [FT] Rangers 1 (Dessers 54') - 2 Motherwell

As much as most players moan about Dessers , we cant deny his work Rate would a 4-5-1 Suit us with more in midfield supplying him. Surely he has a ratio of 1-3 chances he strikes the goal? -
I thought Yilmaz made a few decent runs. Dessers was screaming for the ball and he was trying to play up the park that was making him go through on the offside position a few times but Dessers played as always an excellent game I thought.

I Couldn't agree more! Raskin and Diomande can't play together but Raskin and Barron can with Raskin pushing further up into a CM role whilst Barron holds the rear. Jefte has got talent for that im sure about but yet again is it just the lack of communication?Jefte also needs to use his right foot every now and again π€£ I was at the game today and the Amount of miss communications be it simple passes or that was having me question don't they know how each player likes the ball played to them? -

I'm of to the game tomorow for many reasons Tavβs 500th apperence the return of Barry Ferguson but most importantly to see my m8 Scotty Methven who will be doing the pipes I believe before the game on the centre circle. I was with Scotty in Afghan legend of a bloke and not to bad on the pipes if the late Queen loved him in sure ibrox will love him π΄βͺπ΅ -

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cge17835e3eo Totally of topic but thought it was relevant to our situation. Ex-Man Utd manager saying modern players struggle with criticism and older players are more old school in terms of win by any means and that's that, also not a case of your pish! Your not playing until you buck up your ways. As now its all league games you must play in your contract or your due this and that? I think Barry Ferguson will be a breath of fresh air on βQuoteβ the ones who need a hug will get a hug and the ones who need a clip round the ear will get one when needed π€£ -

My three things in life I love are Rangers family my family and my Armed Forces family. I wrote this last year Driving along the A93 Things that are forever seen I set off yesterday morning along the A93 from Braemar,to Balmoral, along the River Dee. Iβll always remember, with a poppy on my car, on the battles we fought both near and far. It helps to evaluate my sometimes sombre mood on how important it is to live each and every day and not to just squander it or throw it all away. As I reach Aboyne,I'm suddenly welled up with pride as a guard of honour is laid on by each side. Row after row of poppies painted red to honour our present, the fallen, and dead. I take a left, I think it's along the B993, where my mind starts to wonder at some of the things we take granted for free. If you have a car, display your poppy with pride. As it's a poignant reminder, a call to dare, I say, to withstand. For each poppy displayed,a story is told, Of bravery and sacrifice, of hearts pure and bold. It's not just a flower, but a beacon of light, For those who were/are willing to put up a good fight. Wear your poppy with pride and grace, A symbol of honor, a noble place. Lest we forget RF -

Four lads, a dream ignited, Rangers' flame, forever bright. No fortune fuels their burning quest, Just tradition, put to the test. With hearts ablaze and spirits high, We will reach for greatness, touch the sky. No wealth we crave, no riches we seek, Just Rangers' glory, strong and meek. If fortune smiles, then let it be, But first, the soul, for all to see. Four lads, a dream, a timeless call, To make Rangers great, standing tall. -

I know im getting a bit carried away here! Name me a galactico ( Glasgow ) style backroom staff of former players be it Barry Ferguson, Tommo, Niel McCann, Alan Hutton, Kris Boyd who would play an important role in Rangers. as Rae wasn't one for us under the helm of PC. -

Look, we're Rangers. It's not just about tactics and formations, it's about understanding the fabric of this club. We need a manager who gets what it means to wear that jersey. Someone who understands the weight of expectation, the passion of the fans, and the history that comes with every game at Ibrox. It's not enough to just know football, they need to get Rangers. They need to understand the pressure, the demand for trophies, and the connection between the team and the supporters. We need a leader who inspires not just the players, but the fans too. Someone who knows what it takes to win in this city, and who's willing to fight for every single point. We need someone who bleeds π΄βͺπ΅ It's also interesting thought , you've got guys like Davis who are more tactical and considered, then you have someone like McCann who brings that fire and passion. Thomson is the up-and-comer, a modern coach. Ferguson too, has that strong personality. We've got a good mix of potential candidates from within the Rangers family. -
Haha I didn't even get a Birthday card from Rangers it was some Digital pish, considering how much we spend on merchandise tickets etc the least they can do is show some effort with something that you can put up and not just keep it in your Junk email folder. That sums up how they have changed there new approach to things. Card for all to see π€£ https://newsletter.rangers.co.uk/i/tOzQYFG_fvwDTLyuyiCtgfVwV8Wqy803XPb0dipG6T9lbbJFdQC7xg

Would Ally Mcoist be even in the conversation or recently available manager Barry Ferguson? Also Is it time we resorted back to basics of what it takes to play for Rangers and what we expect as a Rangers Family. I don't know or im not pretending to know the contract situation but as far as results go its just not us.
-
Indeed who would even take the role considering how much damage has been done both on the pitch and to us the fans. Whoever it is needs to know what we are all about and what is needed to play for our club.
-
There is no story here whatsoever team looks flat and unmotivated. Clement promised us magic, but all he's delivered is misery. Time to wave goodbye to the magic show and bring in someone who can actually deliver.

Look, as a Rangers fan, it's not just a hobby, it's ingrained. It's the inherited stories, the first match, the feeling of Ibrox on a European night. It's more than just following a team; it's a connection to something bigger. Our traditions aren't marketing slogans. They're the shared experiences, the matchday rituals, the sense of belonging. It's the songs, the colours, the understanding between fans. It's what makes us us. Think about it β the anticipation before a big game, the roar of the crowd, the shared frustration or elation. That's tradition. It's not something you can buy or manufacture. It's earned, passed down, lived. Now, we hear talk of takeovers, of new ideas. Change happens, we get that. But some things are fundamental. Our traditions are what define Rangers. They're what connect us to the past, to each other. They're the bedrock of the club. And they're worth protecting. Because without them, it's just another team. And we're not just another team. We're Rangers.π΄βͺοΈπ΅

Time to update the 'In This House We Believe' banner to 'In This House We Believe...Until the 93rd/94th Minute. its About time someone else scored in the dying seconds of the game. Did they try telling Bayern about their history? Didn't work, eh? π
