  7. Strange one this Right Back, Only played 10 games for Raith Rover's. 20 in October, can't play in challenge cup, overage player in Development League.
  8. He was freed by Paul le Guen (or whoever was advising him of the existing squad).
  9. A complete joke, clubs who change from grass to astro had to play all teams in their league before changing as this would alter the fairness of the competition. Now one club would be allowed to play a league game in a different continent!! The precedent has been set, if the league is close it would now allow Ross County or Inverness for example to move their home game against Rangers to Hampden. Therefore a 50,000 crowd as opposed to a 5,000 crowd.

  15. Report on today's 16's game against Sunderland https://rfcyouths.wordpress.com/2016/07/20/16s-beat-sunderland/
  16. The Tournament is actually an U19 tournament so the squad will be made up of 17 and 18 year olds and possibly 16 year old Zak Rudden, another 16 year old Jack Thomson looks likely to miss out through injury. As I have said a few time we only have TWO under twenty players on the books, Ryan Hardie and Jordan Thompson, a fine example of Sinky's legacy.

  21. As long as their is a contract offer on the table at the same terms as his previous contract they are due a development fee. Other wise he is a free transfer.
  22. Reports on the 20's and 17's opening pre-season games https://rfcyouths.wordpress.com/2016/07/09/easy-pre-season-wins-for-youth-sides/
  23. They also paid off Richards, Cole and Stokes, you can only get a fee if someone is willing to pay it. They obviously made the same call on these three that we made on Bell and McGregor.
  24. There was absolutely zero chance we would have got a fee for either McGregor or Bell. The clubs interested in these players were only interested because they were available for free. Rangers call was to cut their loses, they weren't going to play but would have cost us wages. A termination of contract and the agreed reduction on what would be paid over a season is in effect our "transfer fee".
