He also got slaughtered home and away against Celtic and played like he was half asleep in the final in Seville. Do you disagree that he's been on the wane physically for 18 months? He can still strike a ball and put in a cross but he just can't recover at all. I feel like the clubs made a rod for its back giving him the HoF when they did to be honest, it has made him infallible.

Aye I've said Goldson getting the RCB berth shouldn't be clear cut and to be honest, I'd put Souttar there. If we have to move to a 5 at the back then so be it. If not then Goldson better start working on his weak foot in training because I can't remember the last time he put in a block on a cross like Souttar did today - game changing defending.

Anyone following the Caicedo saga? I'd say Liverpool need him more than Chelsea do, if that matters at all. Easy to assume that Chelsea have blown Liverpool out of the water with wages, might not be the only reason he has turned them down but you'd think it would be a big reason. What would you do? Neither team in the UCL but Liverpool will be favourites for europa you'd think,Chelsea offering more wages and the bright lights of London.

Also, I think Arsenal just running their 'best' XI week after week in the prem probably cost them a bit in the end with fatigue and injuries, like I say - for the big key games get your best players on the park but we've got the squad to rotate in Scotland, we should be comfortable doing it. And need to with the schedule - December looks horrific, I don't want the team being ragged until then.

I get that but I do hope we use the squad in the next couple of weeks in the lead up to the OF. I'd be happy to see 2 or 3 changes for this game; like Dowell, Cifuentes and Sima for example. We've seen the impacts of what rinsing players over a 60 game season can do, just look at Tav. We've got the numbers and quality in midfield to attack to rotate in this league, we should be comfortable doing it as a fanbase. That's a reason why I wouldn't have let Sakala go, with so many new players unproven in Scotland he was a rotation option who guarantees goals and Assists over a season, crucial with the domestic-European schedule. But definitely stick with your best and key players in the big games.

Alex Lowry starting in Norway for Hearts, can't see how this loan won't do him wonders. Best of luck to the boy. -

Brilliant post mate. I thought it was a load of pish at the time and so it was, I'm guessing they'll have a stronger bench though. It kind of confirms that they're a lower pot UEL side though, we're probably still a high end UEL team I'd say, with aspirations of cementing a 3rd pot in the UCL. -

Plenty will disagree judging by the online discourse but he's an average defender who puts a foot in when he doesn't need to. I don't know why he's not playing at cdm for Utd, makes sense and hasn't he got previous? Geniunely don't see a difference between him and a player like Gary Medel, they should try it. -
