Geniunely wondering who's out there who's an experienced coach and has previous with the club? The best I can come up with is Ian McCall - not sure if he's classed as a Rangers man either.

Can we garner anything from his insta story? Playing a 4-3-3 by the looks of it. Wouldn't be surprised to see McCausland at the weekend if that's the case, with Sima off the left.

I might just be prattling here but there's form for players wearing masks and having stellar/breakthrough seasons. Kane springs to mind for Spurs a few years ago, Osimhen for Napoli more recently. Dare I say Callum McGregor for Celtic? I'm clinging onto this false hope/narrative!

Case in point being Emery at Villa - Gerrard was derided for saying Chelsea should wipe the floor with them when he was manager..now look where both clubs are! With the bulk of the same squad as Gerrard he's taken them from looking at relegation to being a candidate for the UCL and rightly so when looking at their form under Emery. It's what gives me hope with Clement - although players like Tav, Goldson, Lundstram and Barisic should be starting to be phased out in the summer. I think most would agree.

Tbf surely if he turns a load of freebies, loan-to-buys and young talents into multi million pound sales then there'd be a few top clubs wanting him because of it. The challenge is tougher up here granted but I wouldn't say its any less rewarding if you get it right - if you succeed with us as a DoF then you could work at and succeed with any club in Europe I reckon, especially considering the budget constraints and markets we're in for talent.

Fully agree mate, it was pretty much the same questions but from different angles outwith the independent rangers media (fan media). I'm happy with his unveiling tbf, he's hammering home some points early on in regards to mentality and knows that this side need a lot of work to achieve what he wants (4 pillars). Nothing outlandish either. Looking forward to Saturday - hopefully we'll see some embryonic changes of style, I'm not expecting anything huge but even if it's just less crosses then I'm sold haha.

Tbf, what he says about Sutton is fine. Both grew up in Norfolk and both played for their local club Norwich - Todd rightly points out Sutton's hypocrisy in how he supported him and bigged him up at Norwich and slaughtered him as soon as he started playing for Rangers.

I keep thinking that we'll win the LC, the squad will be rejuvenated after it and we'll really motor in the games up to and in the post split. Does anyone have any knowledge on automatisms? From what I can gather it's coaching within in-game scenarios in training - so with in and out of possession and in defensive and attacking transition so that on a matchday it becomes natural and without second thought. The definition of automatism when searched on my phone is "the performance of actions without conscious thought or intention." Looks like he's going to really drill into the players nature - pretty interesting. It's why I'm hoping we'll be firing on all cylinders after the winter break.

He's hinted that players will have to 'change positions' in the interview so we'll probably get a change in formation and/or different player roles. Not sure if the senior lads in the team are too thick to grasp what he'll want mind, because it sure as fuck looked like that under Beale and Gio.

I agree, ironically we were beating Celtic and losing against the jobbers under Gerrard. It's mostly the other way round now.

Watched the game today and I've kept up with the content on RTV, I reckon this team under Jo Potter are far better than last season. They don't mind shooting for one. Pumping Hibs by 7 at Ibrox given our struggles there is some result tbf. I think if they dial down the rash pressing and tackles in defense and trust themselves to play through the thirds a wee bit more then trophies are there to be had this season. Big game next week, time to stand up and be counted!

I think if in 2/3 months time we're still swinging in crosses like we're meeting a quota then surely we can deduce that the players got Beale the sack? If we see a style forming in that time I'm certain fans will back Clement, I will at least anyway.

I've always thought he's one of the better midfielders outside the OF and St Mirren are doing well this season, would you test the water with Lundstrams (Jack?) contract being up in the summer? Good age, familiar with Scotland (I know) and affordable. Food for thought.
