Sima having another one of his games where he's chasing everything he does, even himself. -

The amount of flick ons you see Sima win for no one to be running beyond is baffling to see. Why try and find him? -

If we treat these lot like they're 9th in the league and a team who can't buy a home win this season then we'll win this, it's that simple. -

Apart from Ridvan at left back that's pretty much my preferred XI so no complaints here. Big games from Butland and Danilo and we win this. C'mon lads! -
Tuning into sportscene aye?

Brilliant news, I was cynical but if we give him good opportunities- and it looks like Clement will, then he'll do well. Good day, hopefully tomorrow's even better 🙏

Well I hate to say it, but *statistically* we've been better on the road. I'll say no more. -
Maybe a bit late with this one but players like Ralph Brand and Derek Johnstone did far more for far longer for Rangers than Hateley did - admittedly I never saw them play but just looking at there records like. If any older members want to back me up on that or not - I'd go with the XI posted but with Derek Johnstone instead of Hateley. And honestly, I'd have Barry Ferguson in for Gazza too. That one might be sacrilege though.

In fairness to Ridvan, he's been shafted big time by Beale. I get the point about his fitness since he's arrived but the reason why Borna has got so much game time in recent weeks is because Ridvan (bizarrely) isn't in the European squad and the new gaffer says he wants a settled side - if Ridvan is unavailable most midweeks then the manager has his mind made up for him. His fitness has been shite aye but I'm ngl, we still haven't given him a run of games to actually see if he can succeed for us. He's had 23 games and 15 starts for us in a year and a half - that will be out of what? 90 games? 100? He's been in the squad 44 times too. I don't blame him for wanting clarity.

I don't want to come across as an arrogant little Englander but it's pretty fucking hard to not qualify for tournaments with the expansions and the nations league now. I'll happily take flak for this but both Scotland and Wales have squads of which the majority of players are EFL championship standard, albeit good championship players. I think it's a myth that these generations of players for yours and the Welsh team are breaking the mould - they've just played in a very forgiving qualification system at the time. For what it's worth I think England under Southgate are flat track bullies and have a chronic inferiority complex - they have the players to win something but not the mindset (or coach).

12 games in 37 days will define the season

It's make or break for the players aye, it's pretty much a free hit bar the LC final for Clement though. -

Said it before, it would be tough going but if we're unbeaten domestically between now and the winter break I think we go on to win the league. If you look at the numbers we're actually better away from home this season and that Dundee result the other week is underrated imo - they're a very decent team in the league when playing at Dens Park. It's still there to be won this league but this group need to convince us they can do it, starting at Pittodrie at the weekend. -
Who was the last player we produced that cracked 100 apps? Alan Hutton? Heck, the last player to crack 50 apps from our academy that I can think of is fucking Kyle Hutton. Respectfully, let him go.

I'd love him to stay but if I were McCausland I'd get on the first plane to Bergamo or Rome on the first of January. Doig, Ferguson and Hickey have all flourished in Italy and Rangers have proven that they can't produce first team regulars. Some won't like to hear it but it's the truth, until we start giving young lads **SUBSTANTIAL** minutes we can't complain when they leave to pursue a better career.

Rangers International Football Club PLC annual report and AGM

Runs to May 2026 - so 2 1/2 years. That's why I think if he does well in la liga, we push for 10m or as close to. -

Geniune question, if Hagi has a good season in La Liga would you try and push for 8 figures in the summer? I don't buy the revisionism with him and think he's a good opportunity to make a good sale. Coming into his prime years, international, big name etc. Some Tim replied to a tweet of mine laughing when I said we should, I've half a mind that he couldn't grasp how many digits that is right enough. -
Gersnet Rangers All-time XI | Day 7: Attacking-midfield
yuddie replied to Rousseau's topic in Rangers Chat
Not sure if he was an out and out attacking midfield on paper (he was in games I felt) but that treble winning season Barry had under Eck was the best individual season a players had for us imo, against a more than decent (agricultural) Celtic team. Still baffled to this day that he got a move to Blackburn off the back of it. -
2-0 win for Rangers, unbeaten in 3 games in the league v Celtic and City with 2 wins away at both too. Should really be looking to win the league from here. Nice to have a Rangers team that doesn't choke under pressure in the league eh.

Womens team on BBC Alba KO 14:10 v Glasgow City (a) if you need a Rangers fix, win this and we're big favourites I reckon!

Concur with Baxter, we probably would've won the European Cup if he'd have been fit by all accounts..v Milan was it?

Gersnet Rangers All-time XI | Day 5: Defensive-midfield / Half-back
yuddie replied to Rousseau's topic in Rangers Chat
Steven Davis gets my vote, most capped British player in history and probably the best Rangers player in the post tiki taka football era e.g 08 onwards. The talent we have compared to bygone eras feels like it dilutes with each passing year but he could've played in any Rangers side and held his own imo. -
I only properly recall Eck onwards so for me it's either Hutton or Tav... I think we downplay what James Tavernier has done with us tbh, any other era of Scottish football other than Rangers post 2012 and I'm convinced he would have been capped for England whilst with us. The trophy haul doesn't match his talent but he's playing 11 a side remember. Even if he can be infuriating. I'm voting Tav, I'll happily accept any fume coming my way.

Everton deducted 10 points which they've appealed - they'll be fine anyway. It has to be said, it's been coming with how they've been run.

City with record turnover - amazing how a clubs finances can transform when backed by a nation state. Still got my fingers crossed that the Kuwait Royal Family will stop being armchair supporters and buy out The Famous 🤞
