  1. 1 up v Betis btw, this shouldn't give us the fear at all. Go and get top spot lads!
  2. Would love big Souttar to stroll it tonight.
  3. Lammers must be absolute mustard in training. Happy with most of it, the Cantwell and Lammers dynamic is the only misgiving. Hopefully they both have a blinder of course!
  4. No idea mate, I've wanted to see him too tbh. He seemed to relish the physical side of midfield when we first saw him as well. Beale really was a bampot.
  5. Doesn't half. Those Limassol flashbacks haunting him by the looks of it.
  6. Because we'd make a loss on them? Sell them too I say, but if we're serious about the trading model though we should be looking to sell Hagi if not this summer then next because we could make a profit on him. We've got a bird in the hand with Lowry at Hearts as well as 2 competent number 10's in Lawrence and Cantwell (if he ever gets played there), selling Hagi will not only be good business by the club but losing him would not be detrimental to the side (imo). If this was last season for instance and Hagi was doing what he is with Romania and in la liga and Tillman was on loan with us, I would 100% be selling Hagi to make Tillman permanent. All hypothetical bollocks though.
  7. Aahh okay, cheers for that. I'll edit.
  8. I'd start Cifuentes, Souttar and McCausland tonight... Butland Tav Souttar Davies Borna Lundstram Cifuentes McCausland Cantwell Sima Danilo Cifu probably our best performer v Aberdeen imo and the experiment with Cantwell on the right just isn't working so I'd move him into the centre, Lawrence is still early in his comeback from injury so I think Clement will rest him. I'd also like to see McCausland from the start in a game where there will be a lot of space and transitions. I still think Souttar has the highest ceiling of our defenders as well, but that's just me. We *SHOULD* win this and win it well imo, if we're capable of blitzing Sparta in the first half then I'm hoping for 4 goals tonight. C'mon lads
  9. It has to be said, Bayerns record in the groupstages is exemplary.
  10. We don't need McCausland or Lowry to be the next Barry Ferguson btw, which I think is what people demand. If they can become an important squad member and put down 2000 minutes a season (22 90's) then that's brilliant for me. Its what we should aspire to do. It's not shit or bust with these lads, it's almost like we throw them a game against Stenhousemuir at Ibrox in the Cup in a changed XI and if they don't score a hattrick and run the game they're bombed out. Scott McTominay and Curtis Jones are prime examples of what we should aim for, lads who can drop in in any given match be it Domestic, European or International and hold their own. Good rotation options and by god we need those with 60 game seasons on the horizon. Neither are key players but are key components of a good dressing room imo. Unless they do want to be the next Barry, I'd love that haha. I had to say this, let's not get a young player becoming a first team player confused with them having to be the best Scottish player of their generation. Cheers.
  11. I'd be surprised if Utd get a result tonight, heavy pitch, hostile atmosphere and a rejuvenated Galatasary team. Still smarting when I see teams like them and Antwerp in the UCL - we turned both of them over with ease in recent seasons.
  12. Tough run of fixtures from now and into the new year for Everton, I'd still back them to stay up but it could be hairier than expected. Arsenal flattering to deceive imo, there's only so long you can play at par and win. À la Michael Beale's Rangers.
  13. Liam Scales is fucking brutal btw, lower league defender playing in Europe. Makes me wonder why we've just outcast young Leon King after his spell in the team. Negligence really.
  14. Personally I think Eddie Howe is found wanting against the best of his peers in the dugout, it'll be interesting to see how he manages the game in Paris.
  15. Let it stew a bit, I still think there's potential for that point on Sunday to be useful at the end up. Watched it back and we were by far the better side - this isn't Beale Ball where it's a geniune smash and grab...Aberdeen did fuck all for the last hour really. Probably uber positive for some of course. If we're still at this point gap come the game at parkhead then I'll take it - problem is the players and their propensity to shite themselves at the shit pit.
  16. Honestly, he was fucking atrocious. The worst on the park and I know you like to stick up for the players who take the flak but I think this time you're howling at the moon.
  17. Geniune question, has there ever been a player for Rangers who has crumbled so consistently under pressure as Borna? It's beyond comedy now.
  18. We have to move on from Tav, Borna, Goldson and Lundstram at the end of this season man. Please. They've done their best.
  19. xG For us was 2.47 to Aberdeens 0.47 and we missed 4 big chances apparently - let's not let the outsiders say we got away with it, we should've scored 3 today if our players could finish.
  20. Agree mate, by the time we go to the chamber of secrets it will look better than it does now - I'm confident of that.
  21. Probably should've won that but ah well, we take the point. It'll probably look a better point given time imo. Cifuentes Motm. Borna was fucking honking.
  22. This would be hilarious!
  23. Fucking hell does Sam Lammers just not know when he's beat a man? That ball he just played was twice as difficult as it should have been.
  24. Aye we need a left back pronto if we're not persisting with Ridvan. His decision making has been bizarre today. Moronic actually.
  25. I'll happily take stick for this but cifuentes has been our best player this half.
