Idk if age is an issue if he fires us to the title and bangs in 20-30 a season for 2/3 seasons after as well. If the manager approves then that's good enough for me.

2 goals conceded away from home is title winning defending it has to be said. If it's still that when we get to the break then we're onto a winner.

If he wasn't at Hoffenheim on loan I'd try and bring in Weghorst tbf. Has recent-ish pedigree in a good league for scoring, is mobile and has intl experience. Apparently presses really well as well. Idk if that's important or not. What do you guys think? Only down side is that he's 31, but if we could get him on loan until the end of the season somehow I'd take it.

Went for Balogun, tough conditions to deal with aerial duels and he won them, as well as the battles on the ground. Cantwell and Sterling probably the other contenders.

In fairness to Ridvan, when you look at our goals conceded when he's been on the pitch it's outstanding. We do seem to be better defensively when he's playing.

Are there numbers for creating chances for players to spoon them over the bar? Or to have 2 arguably legitimate goals ruled out? I can't be arsed to slaughter a kid from the academy who's been the one player in our side who's always proactive - whether things come off or not just happens on the day. I'm with McCausland for the long haul, not for a month where if he isn't carrying our team with 'numbers' he's punted to the B team. I want him to develop and days like today will help.

This has been pleasant! Dowell and Cantwell running the midfield so far, especially Todd. McCausland came onto a game in the last 15 mins of the first half I thought as well. Keep the zero and add to it Rangers!

Went for Dowell, thought he passed and probed all night and married it with the hard yards and winning his battles. Add to that he's left footed and 6'1 and we might have the Joe Aribo replacement we've been craving, early days though. Honourable mentions are Dessers, Tav and McCausland for me.

This guys projections are usually pretty accurate - with the caveat that we need to actually get those points haha. I said at the start of the season that a mean defence will give us a chance and I still stand by it - if we manage sub 20 goals conceded we'll win this league. Reasons to be optimistic!

Idk about a blue league but it's definitely opened up the option of cross association leagues... Would you lads join a league with the Scandinavian teams? Say a 20 team league with us, celtic, hearts hibs and Aberdeen from Scotland - and 5 from each of Denmark, Norway and Sweden? Ngl, I'd be sorely tempted.

Always been the way tbf, I can't recall a time we've gone there without a first teamer missing.

It'll be a miracle if we finish the year top of the table with our injury list. It's geniunely looking like Leon King and Dujon sterling as the midfield two at sharkhead.

I'll take that every league game. Probably could've scored 3/4 with better finishing but our defending from back to front was exemplary - we didn't give them a sniff even if they were a man down. We keep defending like that we'll be fine imo. Dowell my motm - thought he probed well in his first start for awhile. Dessers, Tav and McCausland other standouts. Tav and young Ross have a bit of a rapport building I think.

Call me a weirdo, and I know they're down to 10 and it's *ONLY* St Johnstone but our defending has been fucking stellar so far. If we raise the tempo second half we'll score a couple of goals imo. Dowell and Souttar standouts for me.

More rotation than I thought but looking forward to seeing the lesser spotted Dowell in action. C'mon lads!
