I had a look at our league fixtures up to the next OF which is at home, these are the 11 fixtures: St Mirren (a) Livingston (h) Aberdeen (h) Ross County (h) St Johnstone (a) Hearts (h) Kilmarnock (a) Motherwell (h) Dundee (a) Hibernian (h) Celtic (h) So we're looking at 7 home fixtures in the next 11 games, with none of the so-called traditional tough aways either (Aberdeen,Hearts,Hibs). In fact, the only one I'd be trepid about is the Killie fixture because of the reverse and their form against the OF this season. What I'm getting at is that this is as good a setup for a title run in as you can get imo, we should really be going unbeaten in this 11 and aiming to beat Celtic at Ibrox. Obviously there's the issue that I wouldn't trust this team to beat Celtic in a game of Rock Paper Scissors but you've got to start somewhere. I still think we're well in this, even with a medical department run by Ronald McDonald. What do you guys think? Cheers.

I should think they'll aim for 10k+ at Ibrox mate. Might even smash a record with how well the teams doing.

Joe Aribo played 49 and 43 games for us in his first two seasons and then played 57 in his third? Ryan Jack has played 40+ once in 7 seasons. In terms of availability, it's a non contest.

For a team who can conceivably play 60+ games with deep runs in Europe and cup finals anything less than 35 apps (available for) a season is pretty unreliable imo, negligible even. Especially for a first teamer. I didn't rate Aribo half as much as Ryan Jack as a player but I'd take him over Jack if I had a choice because he'll put down 90 minutes 2 or 3 times a week for the full season. I don't mean this in a disparaging sense but Ryan Jack would be brilliant for a Kilmarnock or Motherwell just because of how much r&r he'd have between games. It's 3x a week for a full season with us - and then we schedule two bounce games during the winter break too.

Tbh if Diomande is coming in then we need to let one of Jack and Lundstram go this summer. Maybe even both if you want to sign another midfielder in the summer, which Clement will want to.

Random one but Silva reminds me of McManaman for Liverpool with how he looks quicker on the ball. That acceleration on the ball for that dribble in the box was frightening.
