I think he's always defended well from the front but for me it was always coming back the way that he needed to improve. Also worth mentioning that the constant niggle and silly bookings have disappeared the last few weeks. He's just picked himself up and buried it.

Match Preview [FT] Rangers 2 - 1 Aberdeen (Matondo 7'; Cantwell 72')

I wouldn't put it past Hibs to get some sort of result tbf, Rodgers has had some shockers already this season. We've been a 90+ point team for a few seasons now imo, our average over the last 3 seasons is 94 points - I always held that if we stayed that course then sooner or later we'd win titles. Rodgers just can't get his head round the fact that he's up against a Rangers team who can actually string 3 wins together. -
Cantwell got my vote, I think the shouts for McCausland or Lundstram are sound ones also. I'll watch the game back later devoid of anxiety and nerves so it might change ha!

Don't get me wrong box to box we were decent but actually creating chances I thought we were sub par tbh. We didn't trouble their keeper as much as we should've with how much we did dominate between the boxes is what I'm getting at. Still chuffed with the win! -

F***ing hell lads it shouldn't be that hard! Didn't think we were good at all tbh but the 3 points is huge, especially with a nonsensical red card. -

The amount of players facing the ball is still as bad as it was. -

Over 2 minutes that stoppage if anyone's arsed. -

Fucking awful that, blind hoof up the pitch and we concede. And I'm sorry for saying it, but Butland shat out of that. Take fucking everything in that scenario, don't flinch or hesitate. -

Love the lineup tbh, we tend to treat Aberdeen with too much respect - this is Clement telling the lads to enjoy tonight and attack them. C'mon Rangers! -

Shinnie's a shitebag who wouldn't make an honest tackle to save his life. The sooner Scottish football bins the macho physicality of it's football the better, it's pish to watch. Doubt I'll ever see the day though. -

Feeling the buzz for later creeping in, I hope it's absolutely bouncing at Ibrox. Early goal would spark a great night I think. C'mon Rangers! -
Aye that's a fair point, he was still creating more from deeper though is what I'd say. I like both btw, it's good to see Cantwell scoring regularly.

Imo the best 'defending' defender at the club, but he can get caught under a long/high ball too often for me. -
Just on Cantwell and Lawrence - I do feel like Lawrence is much more involved in the game than Cantwell. He's always probing and trying to shoot or create a chance, I thought he was excellent when he came on. Idk if you lads agree but if both were robust then I'd probably pick Lawrence.

Gersnet Article Was our transfer window a success?
yuddie replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Aye I hate to say it but we'll only know come the end of May really, even beyond that. On the face of it, it was decent enough business. Especially considering how little money is swirling around on transfers with the different financial regulations in Europe. Let's hope Diomande and Cortés are benchmark signings in a year or two's time. -
Voted Todd for setting the tempo throughout. McCausland and Silva worthy mentions though.
