  1. I think we have to be honest with ourselves, and I want to hear the manager damn that performance too btw, that we didn't deserve to beat Hibs today at all. Poor, poor performance riddled with bizarre decisions from players and management staff alike. I'll take the clean sheet and win though - not good.
  2. I'm sorry but this whole McCausland/Cerny/Sterling decision making with the subs and lineup is utterly bizarre. Clement wants players to be direct and proactive - McCausland gives you that. Cerny didn't. So let's sub McCausland (a RW) and keep Cerny on to then replace him with a RB. Just can't get my head round this.
  3. Jeez that is harsh on McCausland - he was out best attacker and only proactive player in that first half. Cerny has Clements nudes.
  4. I'll be honest, I can see why that was given. There's mitigation with the distance aye but he does raise his arm.
  5. Come on lads, big win and at them from start to finish! Looking forward to this one.
  6. On Dessers, he excels in one and two touch hold up/link play imo. If you're firing it into him with no immediate runners he struggles badly. Which is why I think Bajrami in the 10 will make a big difference - you saw that the other night with how they linked up through the middle. Lawrence just hasn't got the legs for it.
  7. We've been starting fast recently, at least for a good few weeks. Even at Parkhead we were on top initially. If we start playing like we do in the first 30 from 30-90 we'll be a decent outfit imo.
  8. I'd like to think McCausland is due a start now, especially after Cerny's poor form and him doing well whenever called upon. That would be my change, possibly give Tav a rest too because he was towing in the second half.
  9. He's been fit and available for us for about 2 year now tbf. 🫳🪵
  10. Going away to the Swedish champions that we and every other Scottish team struggle against, having more of the ball in the first half - not giving them a sniff in both and actually, on the face of it, battering them. If you can't praise the lads after that then might I suggest CBT? I'm happy to slaughter them after rolling over at Parkhead but you've got to give them their flowers when they put in a good performance. A lot of you lads will have lived Rangers in Europe in the 90's, we are not in a position to be displeased with these showings.
  11. Went for Bajrami - he probably should've had 3 or 4 assists last night. Kasanwirjo and Souttar also had excellent games. They all did really.
  12. Sentiment would probably dictate giving Kasanwirjo the motm because it was his first start for the club in an unnatural position against our bogey side in Europe (modern era?). Personally I'd give it to Bajrami - got a goal and should've had about 3 assists too.
  13. We were 4-4-2 against the ball again tonight. We've always looked really solid like that. The manager hopefully sees this and implements it going forward.
  14. One man's strange is another man's battering. We should be 5 up. And we've given them nothing.
  15. Managers got to make some changes sooner rather than later.
  16. Some of Tavs passes and decisions are absolutely chronic man.
  17. Clean sheet please lads! We've been brilliant imo, idk how off it Malmö are though. The conditions are definitely playing a part - windy and the pitch looks incredibly sticky.
  18. Dessers aye. That Tav shout is wild though - he's the only player in our team consistently getting rinsed. Dio has been a brilliant teammate for him.
  19. We've been brilliant so far. Cultured European performance. Keep it up lads!
  20. Great start. I want to see us fizzing it into feet though, this pitch gives me the absolute fear.
  21. You make a rod for your own back if you have to fill the benches in Europe with homegrown talent which has little to no senior experience. The bench looks weak because none of those players have had a sustained run apart from McCausland - even he's been pushed to the sidelines recently. If it won't today it will bite us in the arse eventually.
  22. Just had a look, he's played 4 games in his career at LB.
