  1. Hopefully it's a big win for the lads tonight. We all want a rebuild until it comes to actually going through said rebuild. I just want to see a discernable style tonight and Tav sat on the bench tbh.
  2. Speak for yourself, we were bad on Thursday but St Johnstone are absolute wank.
  3. Inzaghi is a target for Utd apparently. Shame that because he's a brilliant manager.
  4. We struggle massively when teams play at pace.
  5. Agree with this tbh. The 3rd you can write off as pure quality, the rest are definitely avoidable. We can still get something out of this. Get Cerny off though FFS. He's useless.
  6. Our chaos defending is really, really bad. When we're set we're fine - when we're not we look awful.
  7. We are a riot at the back. Thankfully so are they. This is still winnable.
  8. Like this group is the first to win in Spain and in Sweden and have consistently held their own or bettered the top Portuguese sides - let's not pretend that they're scrubs on the European stage. I'll get slaughtered for saying it but if I'm choosing any modern Rangers side to get a result in Europe it's any of the ones that have played from Gerrard to now.
  9. Aye I don't disagree. Although that result v Lyon was the exception and not the rule pre Manchester. Our lads aren't a patch on that team granted but one thing they have been is consistent in Europe. If they had a couple of titles to go with the European form it would be a fairer comparison imo. Hypotheticals though obviously.
  10. If his year at Arsenal was poor I'd love to know what you thought of Arteta's first 2/3 seasons. Considering how toxic that club was at that time I thought he did well enough. Not even just the fans either, the way he was portrayed and made fun of in the press and media was bordering on xenophobic. I'm a Rangers fan but Birmingham City are the club I follow in this city, even I'm happy that he's proving the fans and media wrong and taking it to the establishment. If you ask me he's been the best manager in England over the last couple of years - relative to what he's doing. Villa were in a relegation scrap ffs.
  11. Also just on the qualifiers, the club need to bite the bullet and get the girls into the WSL or Championship down south. Half the league being part time kills us when we play good sides in Europe.
  12. Big game for the girls today, I'll be coming up for the USG home game for this UEL campaign so I'll watch it before the mens game later. Winning this is vital, we exorcised the ghost of Hearts away - now we need to exercise the one of the run in last season.
  13. I'd take that but McCausland for Cerny.
  14. Looking forward to later, reckon we'll put in a good performance and get a good win. C'mon Rangers!
  15. When you see these results happen to them in Europe regularly it makes you sick that our lads shite their pants at the sight of green and white.
  16. Tried to find one and thought of McGregor v Liverpool. Sure enough, it was an all timer of a bad keeping performance for Rangers...
  17. That's as bad as it gets as a GK in Europe. I've never seen a rating less than 4.
  18. That's yer man Peter Schmeichels son conceding more than Butland has this season in less games. He could concede as many tonight as Jack has all season too. Fucking great.
  19. If the player is commited to the team and manager then it makes sense - if we've sorted out whatever the financial ramifications were then even better. Let's be clear though - Hagi wanted a move this summer, u-turned and put out a statement when no good offers came in. The manager is doing him a big favour imo. Having said that, we're looking at a 60 game seasons this season..we need all the bodies we can get. Preferably quality ones, it's still to be seen if Hagi is still the player he was when playing well for us about 3 years ago now. As is, hopefully the lad can contribute domestically. Which he should, the teams by and large are pish.
  20. Butland - played well outwith the penalty save and has quietly had a strong start to the season Celtic aside. He needs a little loving with the morons calling him out online and offering him out outside the stadium at the end of last season. But aye, getting back to good form.
  21. The Thursday/Sunday and Hibs having 2 weeks is a valid point, but the lads will get this one and no more from me considering we'll be doing this until January. Clement is tying himself into knots with all these square pegs into round holes.
  22. Thursday night Rangers mate, have you learnt nothing over the last 6 years?
