  1. I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
  2. And if that happens again from now through to October then it's pretty clear that the culture at the club is poisonous. I'm hopeful that it won't and giving the manager a new deal is a good thing imo.
  3. That'll be Wright on the right (don't start!) and Lawrence through the middle from the off then.
  4. With the younger talent we've brought in and will bring in this team and squad probably won't peak for another couple of seasons anyway. The extension makes sense. Hopefully now we can sort out the CEO and Academy Director roles with proven pedigree and give him a proper support and structure.
  5. I want to see good shape and structure tomorrow. Hearts are a nice loosener though, they'll try and come at us...if it was Killie I'd have the fear big time. C'mon Rangers!
  6. Don't mind it tbf, probably agree with it actually.
  7. Found the bloke, dubbed 'the greatest player you never saw'.
  8. Brilliant, cheers.
  9. Does someone want to change this thread title to 'Premier League 2024/25'. Idk how to. Unless you lads want to keep it for how vintage the season was or something.
  10. RVP probably the best footballing robin I can think of. Anyone else got any?
  11. Aye, the UCL deadline is a kick in the teeth but hopefully the club are steadfast in their approach to the rebuild after it - we've still got a month to sort a lot of it out. We've also got January and the summer after this one, let's not think this is a one window job! If we do we'll fail.
  12. Seen Van Ginkel and Whittaker rumoured too.
  13. His wikipedia has him down as a flute player, idk how we pick them!
  14. Aye Ratcliffe the billionaire with the begging bowl out to fund it. Can't stand the bloke. Problem is when you're a club of that size the investors you tend to attract are either nations states, hedge funds or Scrooges like him who'll gut the club for 'efficiency' purposes. Think he's punted the women's team into a load of porta cabins and laid off half of Utd's workforce.
  15. Best of luck to him. Was a warrior for a good few years until Seville/Liverpool. Being 'hard' in football isn't just going in with intent, it's just as tough to knock out 50+ games a season (full 90's btw) on dire pitches and just as dire protection from the refs as it is to leave one on your opponent regularly. Stayed a wee bit too long but was a true Ranger for a good while, hopefully he gets remembered for his attitude and desire to play in the shirt more than anything else.
  16. We probably do need a sobering talk about how long it will take to get back on track though, and he does swerve that a bit outside of calling it a bigger rebuild than he thought.
  17. Tbh what he's said is fine imo. if you've got a problem with how he's said it then that's a different thing all together. He was going to get butchered for this interview regardless of what he'd say because our fans like to project, and sure enough he has been. Only gripe I have is no update on the Academy Director role.
  18. Aye, I've corrected it.
  19. If it's any comfort Hearts got scudded 3-0 going on 8 by Fleetwood today. Make of that what you will.
  20. Slightly more optimistic for the season start. They were good tests at least, even Blues will be looking to piss league 1 with the money they're throwing around. A big signing in the next week and I'll be looking forward to it! Barron and Dio is something we all deserved over the last few years.
  21. That's as bad a roasting as I've seen Tav get today. And there's been a few.
  22. Right now it's worrying. Everything is going through Butland atm.
  23. We're playing good stuff here!
