Recent European history I'd have some of the Portuguese clubs as important, we seemingly play one of Braga, Porto or Benfica every season. For the younger bears at least, you oldies might scoff but the young fans probably love going to Portugal! Idk about significance though.

Btw, there isn't a football team on this planet nor has there ever been one which is excellent for 90 minutes week in week out. Guardiola didn't even have that with his Barcelona team. If we are excellent for long periods in a game, this time being 30 minutes for instance, and can manage the game for the rest of it we will probably win the league. Now we SHOULD strive for 90 minute performances every week, but realistically the team would be buggered by December. Even during '55 we were superb for the first half of the season and then took the foot off the gas a wee bit the second half. I'm pretty happy with today, we got the win, no injuries and can put everything into midweek.

Clancys awareness as a ref is really poor. For both teams. Play advantage or let a quick tap go.

Headers are low value generally so idk if we would've cracked 2 - Dessers goal would've been pretty high though, we need to do that more. They chose to shoot from range too and had a tap in so it would be close imo. Haaland is amongst 40 goals a season because he gets high value chances, put them on a plate for Cyriel and more often than not (I hope?) he'll bury it. Bore off mate!
