  1. My best goal ever, what's yours ? video evidence required
  2. A fit Hagi would be the most talented player we have imo. Looking forward to his return.
  3. Grudgingly went or Ryan Kent
  4. Excellent article. Changing manager right now when we are so loaded down with crap players who need replacing is crazy imo. I have said before Pep or Klopp could not do better than Gio with our broken squad and I still believe that. 🔴⚪🔵 Gio
  5. I wonder how many senior pros are fit to pic a team from now? I wonder how many of the players who are running down their contracts you Bears would want to re-sign? I wonder how many of you Bears would want to retain the services of the current DOF? I wonder how many of you Bears feel like the manager has had a fair level of support from the board? For me the answers are - not enough, none, not me, no.
  6. St Mirren 0 - 3 Rangers FGS Morelos
  7. Ryan Kent for me. Tillman, Sands & BB were pretty good too.
  8. Proud to be a Bluenose. Excellent photos 🔴⚪🔵
  9. Agree, plus I thought we should have had a pen for the shove on BB
  10. Your points are irrefutable. There has been a drop in fitness, ball skills and attitude. For me squad depth (what ceptic have over us) could be causing these problems. Our better players (whom are few) are having to work harder to make up or our decimated squad. Transfers (ceptic have spent way more supporting ange) have not been a great help either. If Gio had been supported in equal measure to ange I would be happy to see him replaced, but I cannot jump on the "Gio Out" bandwagon until I feel like he has had a fair crack of the whip. Whether or not the squad is fully behind him we don't know.
  11. Fair enough, I do agree with you concerning our No1 priority, but I won't give up on this years league yet.
  12. Rangers 4 - 1 Hearts FGS Colak
  13. Schick is a top striker imo. This is a very tough game, but I look forward to it.
  14. John Lundstram for me. Unlucky not to score
  15. If we pretend Gio has taken our great club to a european final in the last six months it will be much easier to support him, oh wait! we don't have to pretend 🙄 he did do that, and won the Scottish Cup last season, and got us into a Champions League we obviously had no right to get into with our squad of old men, young boys and more than a few injury prone players. Pep or Klopp could not have done much better with this broken squad imo. C'mon The Gers 🔴⚪🔵 WATP 🏆 GIO
  16. The title of this thread, "The Champions League has moved on; we haven’t", states that our club has been left behind by the Champions League regulars. This is undoubtedly true. How we want to see the club close that massive gap could be broken down into different categories such as finances (ultimately & unfortunately the deciding factor), transfer activity (linked to finances), quality of tactics and coaching (also linked to finances), willingness to cheat on the park (what moral depths are we willing to dive too, pun intended). There are no doubt other categories, but most stem from finances imo. That leaves us with two choices. Firstly, do we show patience with our current board or dream about a fantasy no strings Investor. Second, do we want to see cheating become our norm. I can only speak/type for myself when I say I hate the accepted level of cheating in modern football. Ballboys (children) being coached to cheat is disgusting. I still believe that given the proper level of support Gio & his staff are the correct team to keep The Gers moving forward. WATP
  17. I'm not one for stats (especially goal difference), but this chart is very good.
  18. St Johnstone 0 Rangers 5 FGS Colak
  19. Top post, common sense with a rare dash of optimism WATP
  20. Went for Tillman, but agree with Compo, the young man King needs a special mention.
  21. I missed us taking part in the CL, even the theme tune. But this season has shown that the gulf between the haves and have nots is getting larger and larger. This campaign was hideous and painful, certainly not entertainment. I find most theories of how, why and who is responsible are no more enjoyable than the defeats we endured and they only serve to divide us. But we must go back if only to achieve the odd victory in a competition that we have become a whipping boy in. One of the halcyon days of my life was watching Rangers beating a star studded Parma team in the CL. I want to see our great club working towards giving us days like that again. WATP
  22. The DoF identifies and signs players not the manager. Gio is a coach and is there to coach the players available to him. He cannot speak out against the board, or burst down their door.
  23. I'm still behind Gio 100%. I do not believe anyone could do any better with the players who were available. WATP
  24. If The Gers are at there best then we might get something from this game, but a five goal advantage seems very unlikely.
