  1. I did notice that, hope it’s just a typo and nothing sinister ?
  2. I was on the Club1872 website earlier putting my name forward for a chance of a directors box seat for one of the upcoming games. I happened to notice that voting had commenced for the Club1872 board elections. Why have the board not emailed all members telling them that voting was open? most members would not think to go on to the website daily to see when voting starts. They usually send out emails for everything else, why not this time? I smell a rat. I voted for our local Gersnet candidate, hope she gets elected but there’s something quite not right here.
  3. Helamder has the experience of playing in Italy but he’s a s slow as week in the jail, watching him turn is like watching an oil tanker turn. Katic for me, also think Edmundson has something in the little ive seen him.

Would be great if people read what I actually said. I did not lambast Kent in fact I said he was a good player. Anyway on to Wednesday night.

Not quite the story. It was said that the topic should be stopped right there, (post No.2) you agreed saying it was a pathetic post. That to me looks like censorship, you offered no comment on what I said just agreed that thread should be stopped. I don’t think Kent is a waste of money based on today’s match because I don’t know what we paid for him. If and it’s a big if we paid £5-£7M then I don’t think he looks like that value, but as has been said he’s young and can improve.

It’s obvious why these two have jumped in and it’s nothing to do with football.

I hope you’re correct, he is young enough. I take your point about EPL players but this is Scotland. So far I don’t think he’s delivered for what we supposedly paid for him. Time will tell.

Aye let’s stop anyone with a different opinion from posting, is this what Gersnet is becoming?

Assuming the newspapers were correct and we spent £5-£7M to get him, do you think he has delivered? To me he’s a good player but at that price he should be making all the difference in games like today and last Wednesday.
  10. If he had the heart of his father he’d be some player, but he doesn’t.
  11. Kris Boyd has issued the following statement: “My brother took his own life because of his mental health issues. The pain and suffering of his suicide still haunts me and my family each and every day, so please don’t accuse me of belittling another man’s mental health issues like I couldn’t care less. Just to be perfectly clear, on Sky Sports on Wednesday other night I mentioned Leigh’s mental STRENGTH in coping with criticism. I wasn’t talking about his mental health. They’re two totally different things. So if anyone genuinely believes I’d have a go at Leigh Griffiths for problems he’s gone through then, I’m sorry, they are wrong.”
  12. Borrowed this from elsewhere, hope it’s not originally from DR or Sun. STEVEN Gerrard last night insisted he was delighted to see Rangers win ugly against St Mirren and maintain the pressure on Celtic at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership. A first-half Jermain Defoe goal secured a narrow win for Gerrard’s side over Jim Goodwin’s team at Ibrox and kept them just two points behind their city rivals in the table. The Rangers manager, whose men have a game in hand against St Johnstone at home still to play, admitted his charges didn’t perform at their best in their first league game since their win over Celtic at Parkhead last month. However, the former Liverpool and England midfielder stressed that picking up all three points was the most important objective for his side and declared himself happy with the final outcome. “I’m delighted with it, in terms of the outcome and result,” he said. “It gets us closer to where we want to be, six wins on the spin. So I’m positive, I’m happy. “I understand some of the frustration around the fans, and the players, not scoring three or four. Over course of the season it’s not going to be perfect in every game. We’re still trying to find top gear. “But it’s a win, a clean sheet, defensively very sound. We could have killed the game off, but it wasn’t to be. “We expected St Mirren to come with that formation, to try to stay in the game as long as they could. They were very well drilled. We always knew, if the scoreline wasn’t out of reach, they would show more ambition late on. “It left gaps we maybe should have capitalised on. But we’ll take the win and move on.” Gerrard added: “You see Rangers v St Mirren and expect three, four five. It’s not always going to be like that You’ve got to respect them. It’s the same outcome. “The fans are entitled to moan and groan if they want, if they’re not seeing what they expect. I’m not sitting here saying we were outstanding, everything is flying and we were brilliant. But we’re winning, doing whatever it takes to win games. “There will be nights when we’re better, when we score more goals. But I’m not sitting here with any negativity."

  14. So taking them 1 at a time, what's the significance of those stats? All of the below excludes OF games and assumes current form to date will continue.
  15. Weekend has come and gone and no follow up statement from the club. I’m assuming the time taken will be worth it.
  16. Dear Bearger, Our last League result, at Parkhead, was the perfect way to end the year and meant we moved into the winter break and 2020 with a sharp focus on what can be achieved in the second half of our domestic and European campaigns. Supporter contribution to our remaining games this season will be vital and fans will continue to provide a source of inspiration to the first-team squad and our coaching staff, in particular at Ibrox, where our 50,000 strong support create an atmosphere which is the envy of most other clubs. As always the club is grateful to our 46,000 season-ticket holders but it would be immensely helpful if fans could inform the club when they are unable to attend matches. By doing so, we could pass on these tickets to other supporters, many of whom are on our season-ticket waiting list which currently sits at 15,000. As we enter a potentially defining period for the club, we urge every season-ticket holder to back the team in person at Ibrox Stadium, no matter who the opposition might be. However, we fully understand the demands of modern working practices and family-life commitments must take priority at times so we have relaunched the Seat Sub platform, which offers an easy way to exchange seats when fans cannot make games. Under this scheme the club will return 50% of the ticket price for resold seats to supporters unable to attend matches to be credited against their 2020/21 season ticket. So, if you can’t attend, please use the Seat Sub platform so that another supporter may have the opportunity to attend and help ensure we keep Ibrox roaring for every last minute of this 2020/21 season. If you use the scheme throughout January, you will be entered into a draw to win an exclusive, behind the scenes tour of the Hummel Training Centre. For more information or to release your seat for our games against St Mirren or Ross County, visit rangers.co.uk/seatsub Yours sincerely, Stewart Robertson Steven Gerrard Managing Director Manager
