  1. We have now at 1/3 of the way. Keep,it going.
  2. Copied from RM We have received many calls from our fan base to clarify why the Ranger's e-petition is required? The e-petition has been raised and needs 100,000 signatures to force a debate in the House of Commons regarding alleged leaks from senior positions within HMRC about the Rangers Tax case. If upon the debate an investigation is put forward and it proves that people have deliberately released sensitive and extremely secret information to the media and for public consumption, then the law may well have been broken. These individuals should then be held accountable, with the full weight of the law coming down on them. Without this petition, the alleged actions of certain individuals will go unpunished and give confidence to all other haters of our football club to do and say whatever they like, be it truth, lies or absolute fabrication and never be held to task. This is a senior government body that this alleged material has been released from, if they can't be held accountable then who can? The RFFF totally supports this e-petition and would ask that the entire Rangers family gets the message out there, so we would ask that once you have clicked on the link http://epetitions.di...petitions/42143'>http://epetitions.di...petitions/42143 to register your own request, that you pass it on to all your Rangers contacts, be it by text, Twitter, Facebook or email. To confirm: Click on this link http://epetitions.di...petitions/42143 Enter your details Name, Address, Email etc etc. Confirm details by Clicking Sign This Petition button. You will now be sent an email immediately following your request to your confirmed email address. Click this confirmation link. Your entry will be submitted. We have over 30,000 signatures within one week of the petition being raised, let's get the message out there loud and clear, "The days of people thinking they can say and do what they like to the detriment of the Rangers family are gone, so when it comes to them spreading their lies and hatred of our club they will be held accountable by the laws of our proud land" The Rangers Fans Fighting Fund Committee
  3. He will be working for Rangers shortly................................allegedly.
  4. Will never set foot in their dump or any other SPL ground again.
  5. CHARLES GREEN has often made the point that things happen quite differently in Scotland and you can see exactly where he is coming from. The vindictive and often hateful campaign waged against Rangers in the past year or so has certainly opened the eyes of many who have had a peak into our insular little country. The fact that this campaign was baseless given the Tax Case result going the way of the Murray Group last week merely exacerbates the point. There was scarcely a broadcaster, pundit or columnist who differed from the view that Rangers had been â??cheatingâ? Scottish football for a 10-year period over the usage of Employee Benefit Trusts. And, of course, there were a few agenda-driven bloggers whose vitriol at times was quite extraordinary. Worse than that, the Scottish FA and the Scottish Premier League tried to force Rangers into accepting the stripping of five league titles among a raft of sanctions in order to gain SFA membership in July. Of course, they might yet try to take that ultimate sanction because the SPL have not called off their investigation in Rangersâ?? usage of EBTs and how they may have affected playersâ?? contracts â?? despite the court verdict. Across the border in England, they do things differently. As I wrote in this column before, invariably when a club gets into financial trouble the Football League and indeed the FA do their bit to try to help them recover rather than seek to batter them into oblivion. Itâ??s the same with tax matters. Did you know that 15 English Premier League clubs were being chased by HMRC over the non-payment of tax on image rights contracts? Image rights allowed a club to pay a portion of a playerâ??s wages in exchange for using their image to promote the club and their sponsors. Payments were made to a separate company, often based offshore, and taxed at a lower rate or not at all. HMRC insisted the system was being abused by clubs, particularly at the lower end of the league, allotting an unrealistic proportion of their payroll to image rights. Interestingly, instead of launching investigations into each of the clubs with a law lord at the helm, the FA Premier League decided to broker a deal with HMRC. Indeed, they successfully came to an agreement with the taxman and it turned out Chelsea paid the most money in the shape of £6.4million. The strange thing is that the man running the SPL, Neil Doncaster, is familiar with the workings of the FA and the Football League because he worked for both of them. As Chief Executive of Norwich City, he was appointed a director of the Football League in 2006 and subsequently joined the FA in 2008 as one of the FLâ??s two representatives. Indeed, he was working for the Football League when Leeds United transferred ownership from oldco to newco when a CVA failed in 2007 and was party to the decision to allow Leeds to remain in League One. As Charles Green says, strange things happen in Scotland.
  6. Just under 31000 at moment. This can be done if we all do our bit.
  7. With that attitude no. But if we all sign, get our families and friends to do the same, publicise through all social media sites then we can do it. Just needs us all to work at it.
  8. Elgin City FC Club Statement « backall articles » Saturday 24th November 2012 Elgin City Football Club Statement â?? Saturday 24th November Following a meeting of the Elgin City Board this morning, we can confirm that a full investigation into the over-sale of tickets for the postponed match this Sunday against Rangers is ongoing. The Club Officials are working closely with Grampian Police, the Local Authority and the Scottish Football League to establish the full facts in this matter. We would ask all fans to note that tickets issued for the game due to be played on Sunday 25th November 2012 will not be valid for the re-scheduled date. The Club advises that those holding tickets issued by Elgin City return these to the Club for a full refund. Tickets purchased via Rangers FC for this match should contact the Rangers Ticket Office. Elgin City FC office will be open to refund tickets on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th November during the hours of 12.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. The Club are aware that not all fans will be able to attend at these times but would assure all ticket holders that the process will be ongoing during normal office hours until all monies have been refunded. New ticketing arrangements will be announced in due course once a rescheduled date has been announced by the Scottish Football League. Once again Elgin City Football Club wishes to apologise sincerely to all fans and the local community for the postponement of this game.
  9. Fed up listening to these celebrity so called Rangers men.
  10. A large section do, those that don't , don't invest. Simples.
  11. Nothing negative about asking the Rangers manager not to dress like a gadgie.
  12. For a Rangers manager to spout that pish is just embarrassing.
  13. Is it not the case that VB posted online the address's of other Rangers fans from FF they did not agree with? Attempt at intimidation ?

    Union Bears

I wonder why that is? Could it be anything to do with publishing names, address's etc. of Rangers fans they don't agree with?
  15. BEARGER

    Union Bears

Agree with the op. These guys just cannot keep their political views away from the game, no requirement for it.
  16. Looked like a gadgie to me. Not the attire for a Rangers manager, sacking offence IMO.
  17. Got to agree with you. I think he has a tendency to run off at the mouth at times, says things he thinks we want to hear, treats us as simple.
  18. I'm guessing hence the ?
  19. They voted no entry into SFL ?
  20. As title, anybody heard this ? Rumour doing rounds.
  21. Kenny Shiels ‏@RealKennyShiels Reports coming to me through the grapevine that Rangers players will not be paid their wages on Thursday. Strange times with Charles Green
  22. http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/home-news/questions-over-businesses-linked-to-purcell-1.1042006 No, no and thrice no.
  23. "first time he says anything vaguely opinionated Chris will be in the same boat as David Edgar, Mark Dingwall, Andy Kerr et etc etc...I would hope he does not put himself in such an invidious position." Happens to all who put their head above the parapet.
  24. Wee Proclaimer really hates Dingwall, he may have good reason to do so. But that article is just pathetic, littered with inaccuracies.lies and muddled thinking.
