  1. Mr Wallace said we had enough cash in the short term to mid term, that was just 2 months ago.
  2. Tomorrow's Mail saying that Laxey & Easdalesxare loaning club 1.5 million, to be paid back in SHARES!!!!!!
  3. Being reported that Laxey have bailed us out in the short term. Wonder what the interest rates are?
  4. BuyRangers Direct Debit now from £11.25 a month! The Trust has reduced costs to make BuyRangers more efficient All current contributors will have your DD automatically reduced Following several months experience of operating the Direct Debit scheme, we are pleased to advise you that we are able to reduce the monthly contributions. The administration costs per community share are lower than previously advised and we are now in a position to cover all such costs from receipts of membership subscriptions. All direct debit receipts previously taken have been used exclusively for the purchase of shares and you will have seen our recent announcement increasing our Community shareholding by 200,000 shares. The new monthly Direct Debit amounts (including annual membership) are now as follows: 1 Community Share: was £12.84 is now £11.25 2 Community Shares: was £23.25 is now £21.67 3 Community Shares: was £33.67 is now £32.08 4 Community Shares: was £44.09 is now £42.50 These revised Direct Debits amounts will be adjusted automatically for all contributions made after 1st March 2014. We hope these reduced contributions will encourage even greater participation in the scheme and we will be ramping up our marketing efforts in the near future to attract new members. http://www.therst.co.uk/buyrangers/

  6. Is there anyway this new CIC scheme can be set up that ALL monies must go to buying shares and nothing else ?
  7. It would take a unanimous vote? If that is the case then it may be a goer. Fans mostly only want their money to buy shares IMO.
  8. Agreed, I wish everyone of them nothing but misfortune.
  9. I read elsewhere that it was mentioned money could go to other things e.g. youth development, is that not a function of the club board? This may put some fans off who are only interested in a scheme where all monies raised would go to buying shares in the club.
  10. My previous post was inaccurate as the rules/law were changed a couple of years ago. TWWC says the unissued shares were forfeited, not sure why the club would do this. If the club can issue more shares then I suppose it does not matter, Dave King must know they can issue more shares? In the IPO section 4.1.1.8 it gives directors the power to Allot unissued shares - whatever that means !?
  11. This Tour may run on Saturday 8th March dependant on when we play our quarter final tie against Albion Rovers. Join us on a journey of discovery back to 1872 when The Rangers were just the dream of a group of young kids who gathered on Fleshers Haugh. They had no ball, no football kit and used a bush on the green as a changing room. Their Club, which they nurtured, was to become the world?s most successful and it all happened on the streets of Glasgow. Our journey takes us to the area of Fleshers Haugh where The Rangers played their first ever match, we also visit Glassford Street, Union Street, Berkeley Street, Burnbank, Kinning Park, Craigton Cemetery and many other places of interest before finishing off our day with a tour of our magnificent Ibrox Stadium. During our journey we have a 30 minute break at the West of Scotland Cricket Ground in Partick which was the scene of the Rangers first ever Scottish Cup Final in 1877. It gives everyone a chance to unwind, grab a beer or soft drink and a bite to eat at a beautiful and historical setting. Adults : £20 Children (under 16) and Senior Citizens £15. Group discounts are available upon request. To reserve your seat just send an email to : thegallantpioneers@googlemail.com For further information phone : 0790 2855536 An insight into our research can be found here on our website. http://www.thegallantpioneers.co.uk/
  12. I know the law changed of this a couple of years ago, so could be I'm behind the times. Do you know why the directors would forfeit the rest of the shares? Especially if they can issue new ones in future? Is it just a book cleaning exercise?
  13. That is not correct. Every new company has authorised "Stock Capital" which it sells (but only a % if it) on start up,. The % not sold at that time is the unissued capital. This is done so that if the company needs an injection of cash at some time in the future it has the unissued capital to fall back on. A company is not allowed to magic up new shares out of the sky.
  14. Couple of questions. Is the RST affiliated to SDS? Does the RST pay a memebrship fee to SDS? Did SDS not have a moral responsibility to speak to the RST and other Trusts regarding the CIC model first, assuming they (SDS) believe this scheme worth of merit.
  15. Have read this thread and looked at other forums. Couple of things I'm confused about. 1. The guys behind it are saying they still support buyrangers. So we will have two schemes running in tandem? Not saying there is anything wrong with this but it may lead to confusion. 2. How does SDS reconcile having two schemes running for the same purpose? Would it have not been easier to alter the buyrangers scheme to suit all?
  16. You keep answering questions that I did not ask. A straight yes or no would have sufficed. No point me asking again, you seem intent on playing with words. As I said I hope we end up with fan representation/ownership.
  17. You don't have to explain how a CIC is set up, I am well aware of the procedure. I repeat my question to you. Did the RST board discuss and agree that the setting up of a CIC was the way forward? Or did your group set it up without discussion with the other RST board members? Surely the answers will be in the RST board minutes? Not sure who this one person is so therefore cant say if I've spoken to that person or not. I can say that I have spoken to more than one person involved and trust their version of events. if at the end of the day we end up with fans representation/ownership I will be very happy but I like to know the calibre of the people involved.

  19. Please inform me and others what I have said that is untrue. I did say that the CIC company registration was before you joined the RST board. Where you not aware of this? Have you asked your colleagues about it?
  20. You having a dig at me? If so why? Have I said anything that is untrue?
  21. I used the term deceitful because I believe that certain ex RST board members did act in that manner. I will accept that TWWC is being honest in his postings but don't believe his colleagues have fully informed him of what they have been up to. Is TWWC aware that a CIC company was registered by one of the group tasked by the RST board to look into the matter and did not report the fact to the RST board? TWWC only joined the RST board in October, this action by his colleague was before that. In any organisation this type of behaviour would be looked at as very suspicious to say the least. So we have a RST board member(now ex) setting up a CIC company without discussing it with the board, without permission of the board, without even telling any of the RST Office bearers. That's deceitful to me.
  22. Yes we all want what is best for Rangers and one thing that includes IMO is fan representation/ownership. My problem with this latest split is the underhand way it was engineered by the people concerned. Who's to say that they will not fall out/go in the huff with each other in the near future? I would need a lot of convincing to put my money in knowing that they have a history of undemocratic behavior, in fact deceitful behavior.
  23. This afternoon I had a chat with an ex RST board member. It was confirmed to me that the CIC group which was setup by the RST had been tardy in reporting to the RST board on how their deliberations were going. As we all now know they have resigned from RST board and wish to run this initiative themselves. I was also told that it is true that this group while on the RST board moved that Paul Goodwin (Partick Thistle supporter!!) should be the RST spokesman on this matter. They had also been active in contacting others e.g. Paul Murray looking for support. Let me say that I do not know these people or the present RST board. I do have serious doubts about the morals of people who would behave in this underhand manner. They were meant to be representing and working for the RST but it looks like they were using the RST to gain contacts etc. before launching their own plans. Why they did this only they know, is it just self massaging of egos? It's the last thing we need at this time IMO.
  24. Statements from Mark Dingwall on FF. I do not know the people involved but do we really require another group to buy shares/club ? The report is disingenuous. SDS didn’t receive approaches - they got one - from the Community Interest Company group formed as a committee by the Rangers Supporters Trust in May 2012. Sadly, some members of that committee have acted in a highly deceitful manner and concealed their intentions and activity from the Board that set up the CIC Group and not reported back properly or adhered to the basic rules of democratic control vested in them by the members. It was only last Monday that one of them decided to come clean and admit they were intending to create yet another group which they would be in control of. As I’ve previously stated - their behaviour is shameful and deceitful and no-one can have any trust in a group conceived and controlled by those who have acted in the manner described above. Re: Rangers fans take first steps towards launching bid to buy club PS - people should also note the attempt by some of these people to have Paul Goodwin appointed as the spokesman of the RST. He's a Partick Thistle fan.
  25. What a shock that is, eh?
