  1. If a large minority(20-30%) of ST holders withhold their money it will put enormous pressure on the board to do a deal. What evidence have you that the club will not hold the seats? You seem to be afraid of taking any action IMO. At the end of the day what is more important your seat or your club? How long till you get the 5% shareholding? What would that achieve that the ST ticket trust cannot and in a faster time frame?
  2. You may be correct but I think it's a useful ploy to have an excuse for doing nothing. There are just some fans who will do nothing in the hope that's everything will turn out alright in the end, will they never learn?
  3. What's your plan then? Keep giving the spivs our hard earned?
  4. Lot of phoney arguments being put forward on here today. Do we wish to rid our club of the spivs or not? It must be obvious that the spivs cannot raise enough to keep us going for the next season, they admit we are losing a million £ per month. No plan has come to fruition yet. I agree that the ST trust idea may bring things to a head earlier but there is no point in putting our heads in the sand, we will be in a financial crises anyway before the end of next season even if all ST holders renewed. Let's cut the crap, we should be hounding these bastards every chance we get. Rant over.
  5. Scrapman nets pounds 11/2 million in computer scams ... but now he's had his chips! A crooked Mr Big netted pounds 1.5 MILLION in just six months with a string of dodgy deals. Fraudster Alex Easdale was jailed in July after his hi-tech scam was busted by VAT men. Now we can reveal they have got the go-ahead to CONFISCATE more than pounds 360,000 worth of Easdale's assets. As he languishes in his cell, Customs officers will move in on... All the cash he has in his bank account. His stake in two pubs. His share of two taxi firms - including the taxis. Masses of computer parts found in his scrapyard. His luxury Mercedes car. More than pounds 46,000 which was seized from him when he was arrested. If Easdale makes it difficult for Customs men to recover all his assets, he could face another two years inside. They found stolen hi-tech parts in his scrapyard in Greenock, and uncovered a VAT scam that spread all over Britain. Agents followed a long trail that led to London crook John Geddes being caged alongside Easdale. They had been watched for months, and when officers pounced they found pounds 45,000 in cash stuffed inside a Tesco carrier bag. The rest was in a briefcase. The bag was hidden behind a couch at Easdale's home. He was selling stolen parts to businessmen, who were claiming the parts had been bought lawfully and forging VAT returns. On Friday, Customs asked a judge at Croydon Crown Court, London, to confiscate the millions they believed Easdale made from his crooked deals. They were keen to recover cash raked in by him during his reign. Customs also demanded cash from two pubs in Greenock - the Green Oak Bar and The Regal - owned by Easdale and his brother. They also want his shares in two taxi firms in the town - Dees Contracts and A.E. Taxi Hire - including the taxis. The judge ruled that Easdale made pounds 1.5 million over six months while he was watched. He said Easdale should be stripped of every asset, but that was only pounds 367,565. The judge added that he considered Easdale had made more money in the months leading up to the start of the surveillance, but that could not be accounted for. One Customs man said: "We're delighted with this result. The reason why he wasn't caught before for anything is because he's a good villain. "The parts were worth a fortune to him. We spent well over pounds 100,000 to get him." Easdale's 27-month sentence upset Customs investigators who had toiled for months to snare him. One added: "He'll be out in just over a year. That's why we rely so much on confiscation hearings. "If we can hurt his pocket and recover the funds gained through crime, then at least that slows him down when he gets out."
  6. What's this nonsense about losing your seat? Who is going to take it? There is no waiting list, there are plenty seats available at every game. Anyway are we not willing to do this to save our club in the long run?
  7. Volunteers to help with distributing the Blue Cards are asked to meet at the Copland Road steps from 11.30am onwards.
  8. Very good question. Never met him or seen a photograph, can anyone confirm that Bill Jnr exists .
  9. Could be the brown envelopes from toxic has ended?
  10. Thanks, I'm useless at this kind of thing.

  12. Jeez you have a problem. I don't know Paul Murray but I know bullshit when I smell it.
  13. Then they are not up to the job. Did they ask other wealthy share holders?
  14. The game changer for a lot of people is the Laxey loan. We don't need to be businessmen or accountants to see the club got a very poor deal. When a fans website can come up with people willing to give the loan at better terms you have to ask if our CEO and FD are up to the job or just doing what they are told.
  15. You may be correct. Fans will need to make up their minds what is most important to them. I think it's worth the risk to rid our club of these spivs. If the board offer reduced prices ( they have already told us prices will have to increase) they will have a further short fall in available cash and we will be back to square one fast. It's make your mind up time. Do you not support the withholding of ST money?
  16. You would think that anyone who was giving money to any organisation would contact that organisation if they had a problem rather than using Twitter!
  17. Not all ST holders are on forums. The 5400 are those so far who are wanting to buy again next season but will put their cash into a trust. There will be plenty who will just not renew.
  18. If I thought you were a Tim I would have said that. I certainly have doubts about your purpose with some posts.
  19. Another weird post. Got my doubts.
  20. Probably for Bill McMurdo new fan group? He was mentioning this a few weeks ago.
  21. And if they are paid out in May that equals approx 60% interest rate per annum.
  22. I think people are missing point of this loan story. Board spokesman appears to be contradicting an official document. Why is that?
  23. The Ranking Agreement basically establishes that both have claims over both the car park and Edmiston House. Have a look at the page hand-numbered 19 (its 3 pages down) in the Ranking Agreement - this mentions that the money to Sandy Easdale and Laxey will be repaid in the first instance from season ticket money. Peculiarly, the announcement to the Stock Exchange said the loan would be repaid by 1st September 2014 - http://www.londonstockexchange.com/e...entId=11872699 - but the Ranking Agreement says 1st September 2015.
  24. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo...1-5m-loan.html Rangers last night appeared to contradict the wording of that document, insisting the repayments would come from a wider pool of money. A club spokesman said: "The loans, if drawn, will be repaid from the operating cash flow of the business at the relevant time. Operating cash flow comprises many sources including commercial partnership income, retail dividends and match ticket income." Spivs out. Just noticed previous thread. Still lying spivs.
