Yes that is my understanding of the agreement details. I suppose Letham could give a wee bit of leeway. One thing I did not include is the VAT payments, this would need more renewals to get to £1.5M Just spotted D T post !!

I used the £400 average ST cost as guide. Some seem to think that figure is too high, if it is then the number of renewals is even lower. At £350 requires 4286 renewals and £300 requires 5000 renewals. The loan agreement is very specific, the money has to be paid back on the first business day after ST renewals reach £1.5 M. The idea that they club in fact did not need the loans and may only require a minimum amount is just plain stupid. Or are people saying that the original loan from Laxey was a con to give them some more of our cash as interest payments?

Unless there is an announcement tomorrow looks like the boards appeals have fallen on deaf ears. The agreement Sandy Easdale and George Letham have for the their loans - 1.5million - stipulates that the loan will be repaid from season ticket income on the first business day in which the club has 1.5million in the bank from season ticket sales. At roughly £400 a book that would require about 3,000 or 4,000 sales. As of yet there has been no announcement to the Stock Exchange or the Registers Of Scotland releasing the securities that Easdale and Letham have over Edmiston House or the Albion car park. Therefore, I think we can conclude renewals are well under the 5,000 mark.

Due to overwhelming demand we're delighted to announce an additional Tour on Saturday 14th June. Our Tour on Sunday 15th June which is Father's Day is completely sold out. Please note that Tour Gift Vouchers for Dad are available. Tour details are as follows. Join us on a journey of discovery back to 1872 when The Rangers were just the dream of a group of young kids who gathered on Fleshers Haugh. They had no ball, no football kit and used a bush on the green as a changing room. Their Club, which they nurtured, was to become the world?s most successful and it all happened on the streets of Glasgow. Our journey takes us to the area of Fleshers Haugh where The Rangers played their first ever match, we also visit Glassford Street, Union Street, Berkeley Street, Burnbank, Kinning Park, Craigton Cemetery and many other places of interest before finishing off our day with a tour of our magnificent Ibrox Stadium. During our journey we have a 30 minute break at the West of Scotland Cricket Ground in Partick which was the scene of the Rangers first ever Scottish Cup Final in 1877. It gives everyone a chance to unwind, grab a beer or soft drink and a bite to eat at a beautiful and historical setting. Adults : £20.00 Children (under 16) and Senior Citizens £15. Group discounts are available upon request. We; the Union Bears would like to confirm our current stance with regards to next season and announce that we will not be renewing our tickets. Whilst we would like to have announced this sooner it has not been an easy decision to come to and one which we haven't taken lightly. It has been a painful sacrifice but we hope it proves to be an effective one. We believe we can't continue to put our hard earned money into a club suffering from mismanagement in all areas. We find it very hard to renew with all the uncertainty surrounding the club and don't believe that throwing cash into a financial black hole is the answer. If the situation changes, we will update everyone as soon as we can. But as things stand, the group will NOT be renewing and won't be back in BF1 next season. Thanks for your continued support the last few seasons. UB07

The club will know how many have renewed obviously. Ibrox 1972 will know how many have registered with them, it would be stupid of them to give out figures, best to keep board guessing for the time being.

They certainly hold the fans in contempt that's for sure and yet a minority want to trust them with their ST money.

"That said there will doubtless be people who will say that any sacrifice is worth it in pursuit of their objective but there will be others who are under the illusion that if the security is granted they will get their own seat when in fact they are not guaranteed any seat all." Why do you persist with this nonsense? We had 13000 non ST seats last season (minus visiting fans) and everyone expects ST sales to be down no matter what. But you say that there is no guarantee that existing ST holders will get a ST at all, are you saying the shysters will refuse to sell?

You hope it will not succeed would be a more honest statement. "So if Ibrox 1872 Ltd pays Rangers for a ticket on your behalf and there is dispute between you and Rangers, say over which seat you get, Rangers will speak to you about it? I very much doubt it. If you have a dispute and you phone up Rangers, they will say you didn't buy the ticket from us, speak to the people who did." That is just more waffle from you, trying to kid on that there are loads of others waiting for that particular seat. There is no waiting list, there is no upsurge in new fans appearing. My main worry is that 1000's will just not renew due to the football we are served up & the shyster's running our club, these people could be lost for a long time or for ever.

I have the same feelings towards just about every ex player. In this case my desire to rid our club of these people leads me to give Gough the benefit of the doubt. Not to say we don't keep tabs on all, once bitten twice shy.

Is that not a permanent boycott?

By mutual consent. Oh dear! Striker Kenny Miller moves on May 4, 2014 VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC announced today that the club has parted ways with striker Kenny Miller. The club and Miller have mutually agreed to a contract termination. “We are thankful for the contributions Kenny made both on and off the pitch during his time in Vancouver,” said Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson. "He has been a great role model, a constant professional, and someone who I consider a very good friend. We wish him and his family all the best.” Miller, 34, joined Whitecaps FC in June 2012 and during his time with the club the native of Edinburgh, Scotland, made 45 appearances in all competitions, registering 13 goals and adding three assists. From today's Sunday Mail. Rangers in crisis: Entire Ibrox board reported to police in storm over statements made by CEO Graham Wallace May 04, 2014 07:07 By Norman Silvester 63 Comments INVESTMENT banker Phil Maher claims Wallace misled fans over the club's finances and he has asked police to examine whether the board committed an offence by failing to stop the chief executive. RANGERS' entire board of directors have been reported to police investigating statements made by chief executive Graham Wallace. Investment banker Phil Maher made two new allegations to detectives who travelled to London on Wednesday. He earlier claimed that Wallace misled Rangers fans over the club’s finances. In a three-hour interview, he alleged Wallace has made other misleading statements. Maher – a shareholder and lifelong Rangers fan – also asked police to examine whether the board committed an offence by failing to stop Wallace. Last week, we revealed Maher had complained about comments made by Wallace at the club’s annual general meeting in December. He claims Wallace misled shareholders when he said the club had enough funds to operate until May before the board took out a £1.5million emergency loan two months later. Craig Williamson/SNS GroupGraham Wallace However, a new complaint relates to comments made by Wallace about season ticket sales on Friday, April 25. Fans have been told they must pay by cash after payment providers First Data Solutions insisted on full security in return for their services. Wallace claimed the firm had made the demand after Dave King, who wants to take over the club, called for a season ticket boycott. Maher, who declined to comment yesterday, told police that is misleading because the credit issue was first raised with Rangers in January, a month before King’s boycott plea. A Rangers spokesman said yesterday: “The club has no knowledge of any erroneous complaints of this nature which, if they are ever put to the football club, will be defended rigorously as they have absolutely no grounds. “As these complaints appear to be vexatious, we will consider our legal position with regards to defamation.” Some disgruntled Rangers supporters held a red card protest against the board during their League One clash with Dunfermline at East End Park yesterday.

Ok I'll bite. I've been going to games since the late 50's who in your opinion is a worse manager than McCoist?
