Possibly my last post on this. What I don't get is why Muslims can be offended by a cartoon even one in bad taste when their founder was a Paedophile. Makes no sense to me.

From the Scotsman 17:59Thursday 12 March 2015 POLICE Scotland have now launched an investigation into an offensive tweet that newly appointed Rangers director Chris Graham sent to an Islamist preacher. Graham, appointed as a non-executive director on Tuesday, apparently sent the tweet to Anjem Choudary on the day of the Charlie Hebdo attack. It is alleged that on 7 January, shortly after two gunmen had shot dead 12 people at the offices of the French satirical magazine in Paris, the radical preacher sent a message on Twitter. It read “freedom of expression does not extend to insulting the prophets of Allah, whatever your views on the events in Paris today!” Mr Graham is understood to have replied by sending a cartoon depicting the prophet Mohammed engaged in a sexual act with a message reading: “You probably won’t like this one...then” His Twitter account is now restricted from public view. Mr Graham, 38, is known among fans for representing the Rangers Supporters Trust and running the Rangers Standard website.

Its very hard, in fact near impossible to speak about any religion without offending its participants. What a crass statement, what he actually means is do not say anything against Islam.

Also those who supported Llambias.

Far from being my first choice but he will be the the first manager we've had in over 3 years.

The envy is palpable. Some seem to want to see a continuation of the mess at OUR club. The majority will carry on and support the new board as long as they merit it.

See that some RST board members were in directors box this evening, including a regular poster on here. Good for them, but don't forget where you come from.

I'm also a RST member and was not asked or received an email. We don't know the circumstances, things may have happened very quickly, CG may have been hand picked by DK or the Rangers board. Time will tell, but at least we have what we all wanted (RST members) we have fans on the Rangers board. We will have a say at RST AGM if we are not happy with his performance. Let's not get caught up in personalities & semantics at this juncture, leave that to those on here who supported the likes of Llambias etc. to the end.

DK said the other day words to the effect that Ally & McD have decided they do not wish to be part of the club going forward. Could be that was DK nailing it right there, no way back for Ally.

It's not been a good 6 months for you has it? Bad enough getting yourself removed from RFB which must have been disappointing and then to compound matters your idols are removed from the club board.
