Who apart from Dave King would have 1,250,000 shares to sell to Club1872?
-
Club 1872 Share Purchase Dear Contributor, Club 1872 can today announce the purchase of 1,250,000 shares from a private seller at the price of 20p per share for a total of £250,000. This represents a 20% discount on the price that shares are currently being issued by the RIFC Board and takes Club 1872 back above 5% shareholding in RIFC. Although RIFC has held three small share issues already in this calendar year, and although we remain in the process of trying to organise a meeting with the RIFC Board, Club 1872 has not been asked to participate. We were also not aware of the existence of these share issues prior to the detail being posted on Companies House. We cannot therefore provide any information to Contributors or the wider support at this time on the purpose of this fund raising. In the absence of shares being on offer from RIFC, the Club 1872 Board has been working hard to find avenues to continue to grow our shareholding and fulfil the core purpose of Club 1872 Shares CIC. We would like to thank the private seller for their support of Club 1872 and their wish to see their shares remain in the hands of supporters. The Board would also like to once again thank our Contributors for their dedication to Club 1872, which allows us to remain a major shareholder in RIFC. We would encourage all Rangers supporters to join Club 1872 in order to retain a crucial, major shareholder voice in the club we all love. Club 1872

I like Beale but he does have a tendency to speak too much at times. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65351065 Rangers close to 'one or two' signings as Michael Beale hints of future of McGregor, Morelos Kent Michael Beale admits Allan McGregor and striker Alfredo Morelos might not be at Ibrox next season Rangers are close to sealing "one or two" signings that will secure "new faces" at pre-season training, manager Michael Beale has revealed. Speaking to Sky Sports, Beale also addressed the futures of three out-of-contract players - Allan McGregor, Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent. "Last week everyone that played - barring maybe Alfredo and Allan - will be a Rangers player next season," he said. Kent did not play against St Mirren. Burnley, who are heading back to the Premier League after clinching promotion, are the latest club to be linked with the winger, who will also miss Sunday's Scottish Premiership visit to Aberdeen, but is likely to return from injury for the Scottish Cup semi-final against Celtic. Aberdeen seek appeal changes as Beale has say Beale said he knew nothing of such interest and told reporters: "There's no news on Ryan's future and I'm sure, when there is, it will be announced officially." Asked if he is still confident he can persuade the 26-year-old to extend his five-year stay at Ibrox, the manager replied: "It is not a matter of persuading. It is about having a conversation and making sure we are on the same page." In addition to veteran goalkeeper McGregor and striker Morelos, Scott Arfield and fellow midfielder Malik Tillman, who is on loan from Bayern Munich, were out-of-contract players who featured in Saturday's 5-2 win over St Mirren. Scotland international Ryan Jack, fellow midfielder Steven Davis and centre-back Filip Helander, all currently sidelined, are the other first-team squad members whose deals run out this summer and Beale promised again "there will be change" to his squad and "we are getting closer to that". Confirming he had been in Rome this week watching potential signing targets, he said: "Talks are ongoing. There are one or two things we are close to sealing, so I'm really happy." Beale suggested that this month's departure of sporting director Ross Wilson to Nottingham Forest had added "about 10% to his workload". However, he stressed: "I love recruitment. I've been heavily involved. Ross would deal more with the agents and with the negotiations side. I would deal more with the player in terms of does he fit and what I would want from him. "I have someone else doing the negotiation part and I go on the road and meet the players, as I've always done. But we've got really good infrastructure and really good staff, so Ross leaving is not maybe as big as some would make out."

The news came as football finance expert Kieran Maguire insisted there ISN'T such a huge gap in the finances of Rangers and Celtic. He told the BBC Scottish Football Podcast: "There was only a £4million difference in the 2022 accounts but my understanding is that Rangers' wage bill was heavily incentivised towards achieving success in getting to the Europa League Final as well as winning the Premiership. "There were some advantages that the club has had in the past couple of years which have accelerated the wage bill.

This guy was the one who first opined that we were signing James Sands. Tom Bogert @tombogert Have heard Leeds United, Rangers and Espnayol as potential options for LAFC & Ecuador int'l midfielder Jose Cifuentes. I'd imagine a lot of teams in Europe are interested with his contract expiring at the end of 2023. Either an undervalued summer transfer or free in the winter.

Pablo Torre (20 years old) has not had the expected prominence in his first season at Barça and there is the possibility that the young midfielder will go on loan in the summer to be able to have more regular minutes and continue his growth. Xavi Hernández recognized that the Spaniard is "the best player in the squad at set pieces", but despite the casualties that have occurred in recent games, he has not had opportunities to demonstrate his talent and a loan could be the best solution to not slow down its progression. Despite only a few minutes with the first team, Pablo Torre is still a valued player and an old suitor could resume interest in the midfielder if Barça's exit door opens. We are talking about the Scottish Rangers, a team that already tried to sign Pablo Torre last summer but the footballer ended up opting for the Catalans' proposal, who paid five million euros to Racing Santander to get him to join. Rangers have been successful this season with the loan of Malik Tillman, Bayern Munich's attacking midfielder who has scored 12 goals in 40 games, and could repeat the formula with Pablo Torre according to the latest information coming from Scotland. If Rangers' bet is confirmed, Pablo Torre would have the opportunity to play in the Champions League next season. Waiting for news, Pablo Torre remains focused on ending the season with Barça in the best possible way and is confident of having more minutes in this final stretch of the season, with LaLiga on track.

I think this is new? https://www.rangers.co.uk/seatsub/6AwrG1orfyMBRvj1fInGG7 When will my seat be auto-enrolled on SeatSub? If you do not attend Ibrox for four consecutive home first-team Scottish Premiership matches and do not respond to the email messages sent to you by the Club, your smartcard will be deactivated for subsequent matches (other than Old Firm matches) unless and until you reclaim your seat. You can reclaim your seat by emailing seatsub@rangers.co.uk up to 48hours before the match or, if within 48 hours of the match at www.rangers.co.uk/myaccount by logging into your account, checking the box for the match from which you wish to reclaim your seat, clicking continue and selecting the appropriate reason and clicking continue again. To be valid for a forthcoming fixture, your seat must be reclaimed, and your smartcard reactivated at least 24 hours prior to that fixture. Where practicable and where the Club has an up-to-date contact number, it will seek to contact you by phone before deactivating your smart

Christian Nerlinger rejects Sporting Director offer
BEARGER replied to BEARGER's topic in Rangers Chat
Wonder if this is regurgitated from 2014? Is footballScotland reliable? -
From footballScotland. Christian Nerlinger has knocked back the chance to replace Ross Wilson as Rangers' new sporting director. The Ibrox club are searching for a new transfer chief after under-fire Wilsonended his three-and-a-half-year stint in Glasgow to join Premier League side Nottingham Forest earlier this week. Former Gers midfielder Nerlinger was one of the leading candidates for the vacancy, having worked in a similar role with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich between 2009 and 2012. However, the German has since established his own agency working as a football consultant and has rejected the chance to return to his former club. He told Transfermarkt: "It is a great honour for me to be contacted by this incredibly large and traditional club. Rangers are and always will be special to me. "With my agency, I have built up a very close, loyal and trusting relationship with my players over the past few years and I feel a great responsibility towards them. The agency is the way I always wanted it to be, and I really enjoy working with the guys every day.” It comes after Michael Beale confirmed that he will fill the void left by Wilson's exit as he plans a massive summer overhaul at Ibrox. He said: “I will fill that void and oversee some of the departments for the moment. In terms of recruitment and targets, myself and Ross have both been working closely on that. “We have an extensive recruitment team and the meetings have already been held. Pre-season and recruitment has been pretty much finalised. “Now it’s just about ticking one or two boxes on some areas, maybe some players that see their futures elsewhere. “The main part of the recruitment process in terms of identifying players has already happened. Now it’s about executing those deals. “There is only a small portion of the season to go and then we’ll assess everything in the summer, as any club would do, in terms of their structure.”

From the Sun! No prize for first joke about name. FRENCH FANCY Marcus Coco emerges as Rangers transfer ‘target’ as reports claim Gers ‘lead chase’ for Ligue 1 star RANGERS are eyeing up Nantes winger Marcus Coco on a free at the end of the season, according to reports in France. The 26-year-old former Guingamp midfielder has been with Nantes for four years, but is out of contract at the end of the season and is set to leave. Marcus Coco at his previous club GuingampCredit: Getty - Contributor He stated last week he needed to go to a club who would offer him more regular playing time and Rangers are reportedly leading the chase to land him when his contract expires in the summer. Coco battled back from a medial knee ligament injury that kept him out for nine months two years ago, but hasn't managed to force his way back into the plans as a regular started for Nantes manager Antoine Kombouare, the former Aberdeen captain. However, he's still managed to make 25 appearances for Nantes this season, although only three of them were starts in Ligue 1. Before this season, he was a key player for Nantes though and helped them win the Coupe de France last year. He is usually a left winger, but has played on the right wing too and even as a full back with Nantes. However, he wants to be a regular starter and stated last week: "Next season, I need to be playing regularly. That is my priority. "My career has been built through confidence and you can only get that through regular playing time. "I will be 27 in June. Your career goes super fast and we must not tell ourselves that we have time. We must do everything to act in the present moment and not let it pass."
