Show Racism the Red Card apologises to Club 1872 Dear Member, This morning, representatives from Club 1872 met with officials from the anti-racism charity, Show Racism the Red Card (SRtRC). The meeting was organised after SRtRC were publicly associated with the blogger, Phil Mac Giolla Bhain. Speaking after the meeting at SRtRC offices, Club 1872 director, Laura Fawkes said: “We were invited to meet SRtRC after we raised concerns about their public association with Phil Mac Giolla Bhain - a blogger who regularly uses offensive language about Rangers supporters. Nicola Hay, Campaign Manager with SRtRC conceded that they should not have associated with Phil Mac Giolla Bhain. Nicola Hay also accepted full accountability and apologised to Club 1872 and the wider Rangers community”. Laura Fawkes added; “ Nicola Hay assured us that she spoke to Mr Mac Giolla Bhain about his regular use of appalling and dehumanising language. I was pleased to hear that she invited Phil Mac Giolla Bhain to apologise and asked him to retract his hate filled comments. We note that no retraction or apology has yet been forthcoming". Club 1872 member Alasdair Morrison, who accompanied Laura Fawkes said: “We are grateful to SRtRC for their straight forward and honest approach to this unpleasant episode. Nicola Hay rightly conceded their association with Phil Mac Giolla Bhain has ‘severely tainted' the image of the charity. "The noble aims of SRtRC should be supported by all across football and wider society. We look forward to working with Nicola Hay and her team at SRtRC on future campaigns." From Club1872 Twitter. Thanks to all members who attended the meeting tonight and to Stewart Robertson for answering all the questions put to him. This will be the first of many such meetings for members.

He’s 34, if we could get him for a decent salary(same as Alves?) he would certainly improve us for this season and possibly next.

Strachan must go, too many mistakes in team selection and tactics. Failed and then given another chance and fails again, we must stop rewarding failure. Why do those who don’t care always feel the need to come on these threads to tell the rest of us they don’t care?

I see Bacary Sagna is still without a club, just saying.
-
And the next time we play them 1000’s of bears will gladly give them their hard earned.
-
My first reaction was it a wind up, but some of you guys seem to know about this cretin. Jeez how sad.

Rangers will be forced to live in Celtic’s shadow for generations to come

I was a life member of RST, that was carried over to Club 1872. Life means my life to me and that will continue to be the case as long as I'm breathing, I don't expect my membership to be passed onto another family member. Or am I missing something?

Anyone know Gavin ? His ST is with Ticket Office.
-
Gave my ST away due to knackering my back so only saw it on TV. Will accept your views on Windass today, always say you don't see the full game on the box.
-
Agreed. But we will not challenge for the title with the likes of Hodson and Windass in the team, we are still 4/5 players short imo.

Not looking like that now, is it. Look at their bench and ours.
