Now that we have had 24 hours to calm down what’s everyone’s view on the manager’s future? Should he be replaced asap? I don’t see anyway back for him, his team selections & tactics are unfathomable. He has never won a big match when it really counted, against a weakened Celtic team we stood off them. I would sack him now before the inevitable happens, we bomb in Europe, miles behind in league.

Will be in operation tomorrow, Broomie Stand.

Got sent this by old pal today, I cannot remember this. On this day In 1955---- Rangers and Celtic were drawn in the same league cup section. Both won their opening 3 games--- then met at Ibrox in game 4 --Celtic won 4-1.---- They then met at Parkhead in game 5 --four days later.--- Celtic were confident they could get the win to crown them group winners. Final score Celtic 0 Rangers 4. -----What a turnaround in four days. Rangers won their last sectional game to top the group and qualify for the quarter finals

Rangers have won a legal battle with American businesswoman Kyle Fox after a Stateside legal challenge was booted out. Kyle Fox and her firm KRF Capital have failed in their attempt to have the Ibrox club pay for her legal fees in a Florida court. The case, filed in December of last year, claimed KRF was due recompense because Rangers had instigated a previous lawsuit to prevent Fox from launching an investment bid in "bad faith". This was something the Judge, Eduardo Sanchez, refuted, stating: "Rangers’ litigation of this case has not involved any obstructive or rules-violative conduct, or any other litigation shenanigans, that would support a finding of bad faith." The Ibrox board had instigated its own proceedings in August 2022 amid claims that Fox was looking to ‘trick’ investors into thinking that stakes in RIFC plc were for sale with the endorsement of Ibrox power brokers. An investor deck bearing club insignia had been circulating around the Glasgow business community that was created by KRF without consent. The club moved to dismiss the motion 58 days later with sources stating they were content the action had fired a shot across the bow of anyone intending to use their intellectual property without authorisation. READ MORE: Why American investment and NFTs are not the answer for Rangers - Jonny McFarlane KRF argued that this case was "without any legal or factual basis" and used "as a 'bullying tactic". However, Judge Eduardo Sanchez said: "Rangers’ counsel has provided a reasonable and credible explanation for Rangers’ voluntary dismissal in the context of this litigation" before denying the request for a legal fee payout. Fox announced she was withdrawing her bid to invest in March stating: "Our interest was predicated on certain conditions being met - those conditions were not met. Our letter of interest included gaining anti-dilution rights protection, two board seats and access to the data room and management interviews. All were denied." It's understood that while Rangers met with Ms Fox, her credentials as an investor were dismissed. The American is not a high-net-worth individual looking to plough her own money into the football club, rather her intention was to gather investment from venture capitalists. Keen to heed the lessons of previous financial problems, the current custodians want to ensure the club remains in the hands of those who truly understand it as an institution rather than a business opportunity. Fox' own investor deck, which Herald Sport has access to, claimed that Rangers finances could be transformed by "layering technology". It was claimed: "AI cameras, 3D steaming, data analytics, mobile apps, NFTs, push notifications can transform fans' experience and thus organisation revenue."

John Bennett, director of European equities at Janus Henderson, will retire from the company and the industry in a year's time. Following his retirement after a 40-year career, Bennett will focus on running Rangers Football Club, of which he is a lifelong supporter and chair of the board. John Bennett retires from Janus Henderson to focus on Rangers FC More than four decades in industry John Bennett, director of European equities and portfolio manager of Janus Henderson Continental European and Pan-European long-only and long/short strategies, is set to retire from Janus Henderson Investors and the asset management industry in August 2024. Following more than four decades in the industry, Bennett will step down and focus his energy on running Rangers Football Club, of which he is a lifelong supporter and chair of the board. Over his final year in industry, Bennett will remain engaged in his current role and support the team's transition until his departure next year. Bennett has held his role in the firm since 2011, when Henderson acquired Gartmore. Prior to Gartmore, he also served as a fund manager for Global Asset Management for 17 years, during which time he managed its flagship European long-only fund and European equity long/short hedge funds. He also held a role as fund manager with Ivory & Sime. Robert Schramm-Fuchs will remain primary manager of the Pan-European large-cap long/short strategies and will take on responsibility for the European Focus fun alongside Marc Schartz. The Pan-European long only strategies will be taken on by co-managers Tom O'Hara and Tom Lemaigre. O'Hara will also continue to work on Henderson European Focus, and will lead manage the investment relationship with the board. Bennett praised the European equities team as the "best I have ever had the pleasure to work with". He added: "Together we have built a really strong culture of success and I have every confidence that this team will continue to deliver for our clients." Janus Henderson Investors CEO Ali Dibadj described Bennett as a "valued member" of the investment team who had "helped shape the culture of the firm over the past 12 years". He added: "Over a long career in financial services, John has built a reputation for making the right decision at the right time and buying stocks when others feared to invest. He has made many important contributions to Janus Henderson and our clients both as a portfolio manager and senior leader. "We wish him well in his retirement from the industry and as chair of Rangers Football Club. We hope John's talents bring as much success to the fans of the club as he has to the clients of Janus Henderson." Dibadj also praised the experience of the European equities team, and said he expected a "seamless evolution". "I have the utmost confidence in the continuing European Equities team, whose investment processes, philosophy, and team-based approach will remain unchanged," he said.

We have a manager that has brought in players that are no better than those he let go. Failed to strengthen the defence, I assume he thinks it’s ok. A manager who plays people out of position, 4 friendlies and 8 competitive games and we are no nearer knowing what his preferred team is. There’s a possibility that you’re correct and the “capability is there”, but can this manager bring it to fruition?

Nope, although I took us to win in prediction league as I always do. 🙁 There’s no excuse for some of the (non) marking and poor positioning tonight. Do we have a tactical plan. -

I assume you don’t sit in the Broomie? Why should I give up my seat to a supporter of another team? I have no interest in a ticket for the Brendanbowl.
-
700 or nothing it’s their choice, never ever again give them the Broomie.
-
Is there a facility on the club website to see your ticket purchase history?
