Barry Ferguson is undoubtedly a Premiership-standard player. He was Blackburn's best player before his injury, and it now sounds like he's one of the main factors in Birmingham's success this season. He just had to get out of Scotland unfortunately.

Miller has become a bit of a talisman against the bheasts so naturally he'll be a big loss and credit to Walter for asking questions of what was a farcical and borderline corrupt decision by the SFA. Our other Old Firm talisman is the wee Spaniard so I'm not liking the recent noises about his availability. Historically however, and certainly under Smith, some of our best performances against the bheasts have come in such circumstances.
