  1. You think they'd wait to prove it if it was Rangers fans?
  2. And nowhere does it say they came from Celtic fans . . . .
  3. Apparently Sir Alex asked one of the staff at Stoke to wheel out a tv for him so he could watch the game before Man Utd's match on Sunday :spl:
  4. How good was it watching our front line against him and Loovens? I don't think I've ever felt as comfortable watching an OF game as I was in that second half. The pair of them, totally clueless against players with the intelligence of Naismith et al. There's dodging bullets, and there's dodging Loovens
  5. We'll inevitably slip up when least expected, most likely at some point on the OP's list. But after witnessing yesterday I'm as confident of winning this league than I was when we were ten points clear last season. After some of the dross we've gone through in the past decade, I'm really savouring this season. These are good times.
  6. Oh aye, they'll be hurting right enough.
  7. Did we win then?
  8. They never even bothered chasing the game. As soon as Miller burst the net to make it 2-1, they downed tools completely. Samaras' assault on Naismith at 3-1 - which reminded me of Sutton getting himself sent off at Ibrox a few years back - was symptomatic of how he and his team just completely threw in the towel. Looking back we were lucky none of our players left that shithole with a serious injury (assuming Papac's isn't too bad). A loser team with a loser manager.
  9. I thought Collum made three big mistakes yesterday. 1. Stokes should have seen red for his lunge on Papac in the first minute. Anyone who says it wasn't a sending off offence is, quite simply, a liar. 2. McCulloch's booking was never a booking. He didn't just get a bit of the ball, he got the entire ball. 3. McCulloch should have instead been booked when he tripped the bheast running through later on (which would have seen him off the park, but I think Collum didn't send him off because he knew he'd made a mistake with his first booking). I thought Collum's overall handling of the game was ok, but for No. 1 alone he should take a look at himself. Stokes is lucky he plays in Scotland with a compliant mhedia. He'd have been hounded out of the game had he made the thuggish and cowardly challenges he's made this season in any other colour of shirt. Refs in this country need to grow a set and get it into their heads that if it's a red card offence in the last 85 minutes, it's a red card offence in the first five minutes. Yet again the mutants took full advantage of this 'first 5 mins' window to take one of our players out of the game - let's hope Papac isn't sidelined for too long, he's lucky his leg isn't in two. Oh, and the penalty was a penalty. Broadfoot went down like a sack of spuds, but you can see clearly from the pictures that the big Swede had (a) his hands on Kirk's chest and (b) his leg out in front of Broadfoot's, making clear contact with his knee. Penalty. Let's face it though, The Lurgan Bigot and his merry band of f enians can bang on about the referee all they like. They were destroyed in their own midden by a better team with a better manager and better players. Here we go, 3 in a row...(and you know it timmy)
  10. Why would he have to "whisper it"?
  11. In other news, Robert Pires enters signing talks with Crawley Town. What a strange day.
  12. Steak Pie FC 1 - 3 Rangers (Naismith 2, Miller) Bheasts raining from the upper tier by half-time. :robbo:
  13. 4-4-2. Miller, Lafferty and Naismith with his intelligent runs inside, up against Loovens and the Swedish meatball from the start? Yes please Rangers. Weiss waiting in the wings as well. Looking at all of those teams in the OP, there's no doubt we have the players to stick a couple of goals away.
  14. Like I said before, I understand Rooney looking at lesser players in the EPL earning more than him and wanting more, but the way him and his agent have treated the club and manager who helped make him leaves a bad taste in the mouth, and is symptomatic of the sickening degree to which player power has spiralled out of control. Holloway is dead right. Money has killed football.
  15. Gaun yersel Holloway. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_RdLGZ89uU]YouTube - Ian Holloway's outburst on Wayne Rooney[/ame]
  16. McInnes v PSV :spl:
  17. I'd be pretty disappointed if we lost all three remaining games, I think we're capable of getting a point in Turkey at the very least. Tell you what though, if we do end up in the Europa League, we shouldn't fear anyone after our performances this season. Dublin anyone?
  18. They'll still be calling Rangers the dirty team at 3pm on Sunday after we've had three more players carried off.

Personally I think they should stop fannying about and get Andy Gray, Souness, Gordon Ramsay and The Guy Who Used To Sit In The Govan Front With The Santa Claus Beard to commentate on our games.
  21. Yeah I heard that after the OG, thought it was a great touch from the Bears.
  22. Last year we were getting horsed by garbage like Unirea, this year we're rueing dropped points against Valencia and Man Utd. I think we're moving in the right direction.

My favourite memory of Andy Walker is his rancid pus tripping him as he announced on STV that Rangers had beaten Fiorentina on penalties and had made it to the UEFA Cup Final. In a fit of wild optimism I actually thought he was going to do away with himself that night.

Seven minutes, this place is losing its touch Edit: I now see that wasn't a bite at the Provan comment...
