The celebrations in the Nevermind changing room have been in full flow since it's been confirmed I've been lifted off the bottom. Not getting carried away as there is a long way to go yet but it's about getting minutes into my legs in time for the new predictor league next season. I'm trying to live right on and off the predictor league and keeping focused. But this is most definitely a step in the right direction.
Centre circle was KT's turf and everyone knew it. It annoyed me for years seeing Brown stroll through our midfield untouched during old firm games. Something Ferguson or KT would not tolerate under any circumstances.
Jack was a Rangers man last night. He had every right to wear that jersey and play at that level and knew it. Its pride inducing stuff seeing a player swagger like that in a Rangers shirt.
Despite starting late in the season it is my ambition to avoid being arse bottom.
Do I get any points for getting the FGS right or have I went and skooshed it?
Jack is the textbook example of the expression " it's like signing an £8m player " when returning from injury. He showed he belongs on the same pitch as the Dortmund players.
I'm developing the same sort of man crush on him as I had for K.T back in the day.
He's a tiger.
I missed the game but had the Google live score on the entire way. I'm pretty sure I'm the only bear in Doncaster station doing the bouncy on platform 4.
Cannot wait to get in and watch it.
I'll be on a train headed south by the time this game kicks off so I'm going to miss it. I hope the team pull together and win their battles and give a cracking account of themselves. Nights like this don't come round too often for the average footballer, so hopefully they have a word with themselves before kick off and leave it all on the park.
Excuse the dunce here,
but I can't find the rules to this competition. Do FGS have to be Rangers players?
I'm heeding the advice given a day or two ago and I've decided to get some predictor league minutes into my legs for next season. I guess the joy of starting from the bottom is that the only way is up.
If the FGS doesn't have to be Rangers then I'll go.
2-2 Tavernier.
Thanks @BEARGER
Dens park in a cup is the footballing equivalent to having to do your least liked house chore more than usual. I could be wrong but I can see the manager shuffling the squad a bit and it'll turn into a slog through extra time.
It's not something I think about these days but that was a dark era. Lewis McLeod was a rare light in the darkness for me as a fan. I enjoyed watching him play the game. I wouldn't say I hold any anger these days but I can honestly say hand on heart I don't care for any other football club in this country. The poison that spewed out of the average fan on the street was eye opening and almost soul destroying. But they underestimated the people who are an absolute credit to the game.
I have never and will never bite or react to anything anyone outside our fanbase says about our club. Their opinion is nothing but traffic noise to me. Last season was euphoric and will live in the memory forever.
Dark days for sure but I took encouragement from our own support and the support from other clubs around the world.
Barry strikes me as the type of guy who likes the idea of being a manager but doesn't have the tools or the know how. He hasn't done anything in management to impress me. Arguing with the fans in the stand is shades of Caixinha.
14 wins
7 draws
20 defeats.
34% win percentage.
52 goals scored
56 goals conceded.
This is the state of the alleged third biggest club in Scotland. A concept I don't invest in.
Ramirez is the only player they have that I take notice of. I don't rate Ferguson despite the hype. Brown is his usual Jekyll and Hyde self. Hedges does a decent job with assists and legwork. Their defence had a torrid time containing Van Veen.
Aberdeen are long overdue a dark age.
Which I fully welcome.
First time poster / long time lurker.
Delighted for Helander to get his goal and pick up from where he left off. Signature trait of a disciplined mind and steadfast composure. Although the second half fell away due to substitutions I enjoyed seeing the young guys get a run out. They look to have a bit of swagger and know how about them.
Sakala's goal was just ridiculous regardless of the interpretation.
