  1. 100% agree. There was something of the 2015/16 about him tonight. His swagger, his confidence in taking the man on. His runs were powerful and driven. He was every bit the captain. His career stats are beastly at Rangers, as are Morelos'. Tonight I'm just going to enjoy the result and the fact we have two very gifted player wearing our shirt. They will be very hard to replace when the time comes.
  2. Another memorable European night for Rangers. I am absolutely cheesing. I'm not going to fuss over the errors, teams at this stage of the tournament will always cause errors but we held on.
  3. Their #8 needs nipped and trolled. He's due a booking. This team have a goal in them, unless tonight is their unlucky night. You just knew Morelos would play a blinder tonight by the way he was bouncing on the spot at kickoff.
  4. the feel good factor just pulsing out of this club in europe.
  5. I guess that's why he gets paid the big bucks.
  6. @Rousseau Given my position in the league and how late I have entered the game, I feel like one of those sad Nigels who kicks up at the cashier in the petrol station when the pump stops at £10 but clicks to 10.01p when he holsters the nozzle. But it looks like I'm due pts for getting the correct number of rangers goals from the Motherwell game and tonight I got correct score and number of goals. I think I'm getting the hang of this but I believe with a little more luck I could possibly grab 25th. I'm aware the top 5 is where all the drama and sausage waving is but my personal race to 25 in the games I have left has me sleepless ( hence the timing of this post ). My back button hole is clenching like a piston such is the intensity of my quest. Edit, scrap that. I'm not paying attention I'm going back to bed. This predictor is giving me the fear.
  7. We're playing as if the ball is a grenade. Someone needs to trap the ball and ease the tension.
  8. Perfect start, lovely set up. The home team will get chances so hopefully the defenders clear their lines and don't mess about at the back.
  9. I'm not really interested in having '' friendlies '' with a club who were frothing at the mouth whilst trying to kill us off.
  10. This is partly my issue. When we get them back it's great, but we have too many players who spend a lot of time out injured. I don't doubt their quality ( when fit ) but over the course of a full season there are too many players with little resistance to the stresses and strains of a season.
  11. Unpopular opinion perhaps but I think this team needs broken up. There are far too many liabilities in too many positions acting up at the wrong time.
  12. Tav and Goldson double act again. The inability of professional defenders to clear a line is painful at times.

    Barisic

Phantom of the opera calling him a ''Sh*tebag'' after he tucked tail and ran in the opposite direction during an old firm game was the last straw for me. Even if he turns it around for the last few games and puts a shift in. He's a spent force in my eyes. Bassey is all heart and muscle. Which is good if you want a blunt instrument in the team but long term our leftback position needs looked into. Bassey looks to be a big honest pro and he hasn't done himself any harm. I just hope he realises what a beast of a man he is and uses it to his advantage. He's a big strapping powerhouse and he can go a long way if he applies himself properly.
  14. As delighted as I am at the result, I'm even more delighted for the young fans in our midst who get to savour what a Rangers team is capable of and what a European night at Ibrox looks like. It's been a slog since 2012 but our record in Europe over the past few years has been sensational. Rangers, are not to be trifled with in Europe. Tonight will live long in the memory.
  15. Sidenote: the new rail cam is making me rather moist. Brilliant view.
  16. Goldson impersonating Steven Whittaker tonight
  17. That particular club seems to attract that particular type. The list of neds in their employment past and present is quite mind boggling.
