  1. Manager deserves great credit for this. We’ve been poor domestically no denying but to get this finish with our fixtures (I think we were the only team to finish top 8 having played 4 of the top 8 ) is a very good outcome.
  2. Great result tonight and terrific achievement finishing top 8. Manager and team deserve a lot of credit. Now start doing it in the league.. 😂😂
  3. Good point however - 1) He left in the summer before their injury crisis escalated 2) Spurs manager is known to run players into the ground
  4. Looking at the posts in this and many other threads there is a common theme. Winning is everything, and when we are not winning everything is hyper analysed and critiqued. If we were paying Dessers half what we are paying him (which is estimated to be what Kyogo was earning when he first arrived) then everyone would be happy with his contribution in isolation. Our lack of success wouldn't be as much of a factor, though it always really factors. As many have said Dessers has been a victim of circumstance for the most part. When he is scoring he is not doing enough as we are not competitive, when he is not scoring we are not competitive and no one is available to fill the gap. We also have had too many, and still do on high wages contributing nothing which while isnt his fault, he is a sellable asset while others offer nothing with no resale value. Its possible he stays with us for the next few seasons, we rack up some titles and trophies and he leaves a cult hero.
  5. We’ve appointed former spurs sports science guy Sam pooly into our back room team.
  6. Can you guarantee we will be able to sell him in the summer? And for as much as we get offered now? Its just kicking the can down the road IMO. The problem of replacing is the same.
  7. No signing is a guarantee. We must gamble given our finances. Koppen & co have shown signs of good luck lately when it comes to gambling,
  8. Would be delighted to see that wage thief leave. I wouldn't use that term loosely.
  9. That’s up to Koppen and co.
  10. Yes and money to bring in a replacement
  11. There can be no debate over this. Unavailable players offer nothing.
  12. I hate this comparison to Kygo tbh. Pains me to say it, but compare goals all you like, but you need to compare trophy count. If Dessers was winning us trophies the way Ally did, it certainly helps fan perception.
  13. Absolutely not. was right guy at right time, but not for now. Doubt he would work with such a restricted budget the same way Clement has. Sad to see it hasn't worked out for him but we need to move forward.
  14. Ah fair enough, suppose they can just go out and hire Pep then.
  15. Sickening, not sure what's went on but if its got to the point his family don't want to go to games that's pathetic. He is the best manager they have had for years. Managed to net them some cash for Theo Bair and has helped developed Lennon Miller who should make them a fortune.
  16. I reckon he will go, rumours been floating about for ages he wants to go back to London.
  17. But of an odd one if true. Will need to pay him well to extend and he has little or no transfer value.. Id be happy to let him go and recruit someone on half the wage.
  18. Chelsea won’t be the only ones watching him. Some VL posted some stats about him on twitter. Stats looked very good on the face of it. This interest in Jefte and Igmane is due to thier performances yes but also the young age. It’s what clubs like Chelsea and Spurs value and will pay big money for.
  19. Get him out Sharon. https://x.com/BCFC/status/1883825014270493174
  20. Watched it and seems a cracking big guy, but sad to say his body just isn’t up to playing football anymore as I’d have loved to have kept him for another year.
