[Official] Rangers part company with Beale

I’m not worried about it as he is probably a better option than the majority of names I’ve seen so far. Genuinely the likes of Muscat and Jansen strike fear into me. They will be lucky to last 6 months. -

What someone has done in the past doesn't matter, all that matters is they come here and win. -
Steven Gerrard reunites with Mark Allen at Al-Ettifaq

Interesting I recall at the time he left the ITK mods on follow follow insinuating Allen and Gerrard didn't get along. -

Every name that's mentioned fills me with terror. I suppose that's more an indication of where the club is at rather than the candidates themselves. It needs a giant like a Souness, Gerrard or Smith second time around to pick up the reigns. -
Scott Wright played a key role..

I think the leaks about Muscat, Potter and John Eustace indicate the board have been sounding people out. I just hope some of the people they have been sounding out are better quality than those. The J League has 5 weeks left I hope Davis & co are not in place to keep the seat warm for Muscat.. Many will point to Ange and call it a lazy link but don't forget we have an investor / director with a presence in Japan and Asia who spoke publicly about connection's he has in Japan and South Korean football in Stuart Gibson. -
Anyone who watched that Kilmarnock defeat and thought he could turn it around was on a heavy dose of deludemol. The red flags were abundant that day.
-
I think reading between the lines it indicates he has been working for the club in some capacity.

Not ‘happy’ to see another manager sacked but he had to go and the sooner the better. The only real choice for now is an interim manager. Problem is there is no real stand out candidate as a permanent appointment. Young up and comers won’t want to risk it with us and experienced decent coaches won’t want to see their reputations tarnished after a bad time with us. So what’s the move here? Hope the interim team does well and gets us to the end of the season and a candidate emerges. Hope Steve Davis emulates Xavi, Guardiola, Gerrard etc and turns out to be a managerial masterclass? I haven’t heard one name mentioned in terms of the job from ‘bookies favourites’ that I’d have confidence in. Interesting times ahead.. -
Pleased with Davis as interim. Good luck to him. Best choice I think given circumstances.

Looks like teas oot.

Heard somewhere he gets a cut of transfer fees or something

We might play with 3 forwards but it’s not really useful if one of them spends most of the game in the centre circle or right mid
-
Ah yes Dowell. The guy who barely played because of knee injuries before joining us has.. hardly played for us due to knee injuries. Didn’t need to be mystic Meg to see that coming.
-
Oh a legal case. Another thing our club has a great track record with.
-
Jim McAllister former kit man. Didn’t know he had left been hushed up it seems. Wonder who’s doing our kits now.

When did sensible come into it after a run of results like this. It’s usually scorched watch. -
Yeah he looks like he knows what he wants to do but just can’t physically do it.
-
I think it comes down to the players. If they want to go play in Turkey, fight relegation in Brazil or in the English championship then move them on and get someone who wants to play here. Hopefully a lesson learned for future.
-
If I were in charge I would have been sounding out managers after Killie loss and OF defeat ready to pull the trigger and make the change at any time. Given the noise that we approached Muscat, Potter and John Eustace (lol) I hope there is no smoke without fire and the board are ready to make the change.

If we were winning football matches no one would care. When we are not winning everything is under the spotlight here. It’s how it works. -

If it’s too hard for you to understand a fairly simple concept Bill I can’t help you any further.
