Big talking point - Does last nights goal highlight how poor our attacking / defending has been from corners under Clement? Interestingly I seen Chelsea is paying Brentford 2 million for their set piece coach. I cant recall us being better at set pieces than when Gerrard had Culshaw for this. Is this revisionism from me or do you agree?

Not sure he should be doing that publicly, feels a bit like chucking the lad under the bus for the goal and the first time I've thought hes said something he maybe shouldn't have. He did mention after it that the lad played well and he will get good experience from this and get better trying to recover. He also nearly slipped in the pre match conference when I thought he nearly said 'its tough to play a team with better players' but corrected it in time to 'a team with much more money'. Out of character for him.

Was getting frustrated with his handful of games then 2 months out injured ritual he seems to have since he joined, Joshua Barrie mentioned he has an ongoing knee issue causing this and has had for some time.. 28k per week we are paying this guy. Mental.

I seem to remember injuries as far back as the Souness days when I can first recall supporting Rangers. And during Smiths 9IAR we were plagued with injuries. Seems its just part of our club. You just need to get on with it.

I don't expect this to be a popular opinion but see when you take away some of the tit for tat songs and provoking of players and opposition supporters I think it detracts from the overall atmosphere. Although I can understand offensive songs is right up there with dodgy firestick streams in terms of the biggest problems the UK has to deal with in 2024 so it no doubt needs our full attention.

Cant see it any time soon, but would be great to get him fit.
