  1. His highlight video on his Instagram includes his sending off v them. Very Lundstram that.
  2. Maybe, but at the same time if we are bringing in a bunch of guys from South America we need someone in the changing room to teach them the songs. Give them battle fever. We don't have that at the moment and I think we have since Gerrard walked out the door. I think having a proper club captain means more at Rangers than it does at other clubs.
  3. I cant see an obvious candidate for captain if Tav / Goldson / Butland leave. Soutter next best thing. I reckon we'll bring in an experienced pro who will pick up the armband. Kenny McLean or similar.
  4. As much as I think we need to move them on we also need to replace them. Both regularly have played 50+ games a season for the past 6 seasons or something similar. Its a balancing act and moving them on needs to be worth our while.
  5. I'd expect us to bring in a few loans. I think 4 is the maximum so 3 spaces left.
  6. Especially when they plan to use it for council houses, and no doubt it will house residents who will object to any future developments in the area the club try to put forward. It was a bad idea.
  7. He had a nightmare in the EPL last season by all accounts.
  8. Great news. Signing young hungry players with enormous potential. Early in the window. That's how to do it.
  9. Welcome aboard the sweeper keeper hype train. can’t remember the exact thread but said the same a couple of weeks back.
  10. I believe Lawwells influence is an over stated myth. Desmond makes everything happen and is happy to do so from the shadows. A very murky and powerful individual. More powerful than anyone in Scotland.
  11. Campbell Ogilvie was the lead on our football operations I believe and had a significant input into the formation of the Champions League.
  12. I think we need to replace Bisgrove with someone who can vastly improve the ROI on our playing staff wage bill and coaching / medical staff bill. We are spending far too much on guys who are not good enough or always injured (i know stating the obvious). By the looks of things we are trying to course correct if the transfer rumors so far are anything to go by, we are recruiting from lesser markets where we can streamline wages. We need to stop bringing in guys like Lundstram and Lawrence who are on more money that any of the 3 Celtic midfielders. Otherwise, any of these commercial successes and great sponsorship deals are pointless. Its like getting a 5k wage rise but picking up a 10k per year cocaine habit.
  13. Cant lose what you never had.
  14. Think someone on another forum picked this guy from a Rangers Journal youtube video '5 players from Uruguay Rangers should sign'. Good profile and would be interesting signing but think its just rumour mill.
  15. Thanks for the Sydney debacle James.
  16. Latest from Twitter is us and them are after Kalvin Phillips from Man City
  17. IMO the stuffs rubbish, poor quality fabric and when you order something it takes about 2 weeks to come. I can order the most obscure items in the world from Amazon and have it next day. Its 2024 no excuse for these delivery times imo.
  18. Just watching the latest Rangers review and some interesting insight, looks like Lammers has out-performed his xg so the past 6 months may just be an anomaly. Might turn out lucky for us if we can get a good sale. Hopefully Feyenoord are interested and we can get our 6 million back in exchange for a sitter missing diddy. Revenge served cold etc.
  19. I dont buy it, by him playing slightly further forward means he would have taken some guilt edged changes he passed up while he was here, like the one V them at Ibrox? I think there is more to it than that, the mentality to play for Rangers isn't there nor is the physical robustness. He looked lost in the first game v Killie, he got a couple of dunts from the opponents then disappeared from the game.
  20. The rules on non eu players are not as strict as they used to be.
