Rangers takeover: Deal agreed in principle

I think he has fallen on hard times, I don't think freelancing for the Dundee Courier pays well and he spends much of his time trawling budget supermarket for heavily reduced items to make soup. And I'm not kidding. -

If we have a waiting list of 10k and they can fund an expansion that gets them seats, that increases revenue and in turn should increase the value of the club. The chap Paraag supposedly led the stadium upgrade for the 49's helping them maximise ticket revenue. Leeds are increasing the capacity also I'm sure. Its one way to make a profit. -

Cammy is my source. ITK in chief. In all seriousness. Not one specific source, but the lack of it being shot down by the usual sources etc. Looks like it is a goer. -

Rangers takeover: Deal agreed in principle

There are so many US based consortiums buying up European football clubs that they will now have some real voices at the table, and some voting power when it comes to deciding matters. My personal fear is that it is a matter of time before the football we all know and love is gone and some kind of Americanised garbage, like the changes to the CL, Europa and Conference Leagues have all turned into an NBA style format. I know some people like it, but its not for me. And it wont be the last step. It will morph into asuper league over time. They are just boiling the frog slowly. This is true, my concern is that we get the Leeds young foreign signings that couldn't get work permits for England and end up developing their talent pipeline with no say. We seem to have more relaxed foreign player signing criteria than the English clubs since Brexit. As it stands we get some autonomy over signing, using a selling our players. -

Don't understand the excitement at being used as a portfolio asset by an American VC. Maybe I'm wrong. They will invest probably but will want a return. What does that look like? It does explain the urgency and pace in which we slashed our wage bill this season. Reduce operating costs and make us a more attractive option. -

Not sure any manager fixes this problem. Its like blaming Hibs Manager that they are not competing with us. -

Agree, I think we are currently 2-3 seasons away from being competitive again barring a miracle in player trading. -

I am not sure you can improve our overall play while drastically downsizing the way we have. I have a feeling the internal KPI's would have changed with the squad rug pull in the summer. I suspect individual player improvements are more important than team performances this season due to trying to get back in the black player trading again. Not saying this is what I agree with, it just seems pragmatic given the circumstances. -

The interview in general is fine. I think they will stick with Clement and he will be here next season. -

The outcome of the review is everyone else is doing this so you should do it too. OK, good shout bro. -
This is the 'Igamane is not a #9' thing again. It is every week after our manager decides to try and play with him as a solo striker. It just doesn't work domestically. It might work in Europe as the games are completely different. Igamane for me is a Teddy Sheringham type player and needs and Andy Cole up front to play off of.
