  1. Not having the pressing thing mate sorry Not sure this ‘least of our problems’ thing is valid. A problem is a problem.
  2. Might as well just shut the club down then.
  3. Roofe was a bit aye. Goals has nothing to do with my point not sure where your going with this tbh.
  4. You'd sell another 5k season tickets easy. Don't care if the seats are empty on matchday or not. Cash in the bank. IIRC there was a comment at an AGM that there is 6k+ on a wait list.
  5. If you have a #9 that can hold up the ball, occupy defenders, make penetrating runs, win aerial duels etc You will get goals from other areas of the team.
  6. Its got nothing to do with goals in big games, its him complete lack of presence. He might as well have went for a nap in the centre circle on Saturday. He offers nothing in these types of games. He cannot. He is essentially a Kris Boyd when we need a Kenny Miller or a Jelavic. I dont expect Danilo to offer anything over Dessers. He is essentially a more expensive replica.
  7. When he was at his peak we made our peace with the fact his attacking output far outweigh his defensive frailties. Now he offers little attacking threat its time to go with Sterling / Big Kas / Leon King at right back in some games and see how we go. I think he has decided to stay to get his testimonial but I really worry that he will tarnish his legacy so badly that it will be a non-event. Dessers and Danilo will score goals against the diddy teams but neither offer anything when we are punching up. We need a big bastard up front, go get a Wout Weghorst or Luuk de Jong type who can be a focal point of play.
  8. Everyone is harping back to the good old days under Gerrard when we didn't lose to them as much. Gerrard also struggled to beat the dross. I think Clements shown the ability to create high quality chances against the dross and dominate them. That's why I have some confidence left in him moving forward.
  9. What i meant was my mind was made up after that Kilmarnock game that he wasn't the man to take us forward. We had a load of the ball but created no chances. That trend continued from that day forward. The loss to Celtic at Ibrox under Beale was a great example. What gives me at least a glimmer of hope under Clement is chance creation - we are still creating decent chances. As long as we are doing that we stand a fighting chance.
  10. It was nice of him to get Carter Vickers his pipe and slippers. Gave him a nice easy afternoon.
  11. He created a good chance for the McGregor goal to be fair.
  12. Ross McCausland? Wat?
  13. We really needed to punt Dessers and get a Wout Weghorst type bastard up front to bully teams. We will regret not getting on IMO.
  14. Of the players that started I went for Jefte, thought he did ok considering the defensive doubts we had over him. Raskin was the best of the subs, praying we can keep him fit and give him a good run in the team.
  15. I think I've posted a few times in this thread but I'll post this again. Jefte, Stirling, Lawrence and Dio were all booked for nothing.
  16. I dont care if Mr Bean and Mr Blobby own the club. But the guys needed to make decisions need to be on it and making good ones ASAP.
  17. Its not about changing the board. Its about them hiring capable individuals to run the club and auditing what they do to ensure we are headed in the right direction. Not hiring cucks like Wilson and Robertson. Sugar daddy is not an option. The ideal case is to work with what we have efficiently and using to achieve success. You don't do that paying guys with no transfer value like Goldson, Tav, Lawrence, Lundstram etc 30k a week. That's stupidity.
  18. There is nothing we can do except withhold the blue pound which also damages the club.
  19. I don't feel this season is comparable to Beale last season. Yes we are 5 points behind but we are no where near as bad as we were then. I knew watching that defeat in Kilmarnock Beale was done. Time will tell i suppose but i expect us to get back on the horse and start improving. Hopefully we avoid some bad results in Europe.
  20. We are all angry at the result but what does that achieve? Just sad old neds embarrassing themselves.
  21. You are correct however I'd argue effort is free and we lacked a truck load of it.
  22. Looked interesting
  23. Celtic actually out fought us today. The part of the game where we break up the park and Kyogo sprints 60 yards back to tackle Lawrence with our players huff about with their faces tripping them. Effort costs nothing.
  24. We just need to win the next game and move forward. All we can do.
