I think as a support we tend to get too high after a win and too low after a defeat. Many were far too negative, end of the world etc after Sunday and many are far too high after last night, world beaters again. Lets see what Sunday brings.

I know my opinion is a bit of an outlier. I think Europe was important early on under Gerrard. Now only the CL can add real value for us. I just don't think we have the squad capable to compete in all fronts and would rather go all in domestically. I don't think the financial gains from the Europa are significant enough to warrant the effort. Stadium will be half full tonight. If we win the game and get whatever the prize money is (500k euro?) I'd imagine much of that goes into staff win bonuses.
